Convenient location to all attractions for us. Staff was genuine and very friendly & helpful. There were about 30 steps to climb to catch a small elevator but that’s no big deal in a historic and old building. Breakfast was amazing and way more than enough! If I had to say anything at all I’d say the pillows were not too comfortable. Staff at front desk would adjust a/c in room if you asked. It was quite hot while we were there. Cold drinks and water available to purchase in lobby for nominal fee. Bathroom was huge and clean. Would stay again.

The property is on a beautiful street just around the corner from the Trinity bridge and the Ponte Vecchio. The hotel is two floors of a building that used to be one of Florence’s old single houses. We had the suite with a small patio and view of the river behind a beautiful bell tower. The staff (especially Andrea) is amazing, friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

What’s not to like! It is a beautiful building in a great location. But if you have mobility issues, you’ll have to go up one short flight of stairs to the elevator. But the staff is more than ready to help you up.

Excellent location. Only minutes from all major attractions. Desk staff were absolutely fantastic. (Great English and incredibly helpful with everything.) We’ll be staying here again if we visit Florence again. Also have great, easy to follow instructions on the website for locating the hotel if you are walking and don’t have mobile internet. (Walking a bit tricky on the cobblestone roads/paths, but we managed with two reasonably heavy bags.)

Stairs lol. The lift only starts on the first floor, so you have. purple of steps at the door and then. full flight up to the lift. Difficult with heavy bags but the hotel is very up front about this on their website and advertising. saying I’d stairs are a problem, then maybe the hotel is not for you.

The staff were fantastic and ready for anything you needed! They recommended great restaurants, explained everything clearly on check in and check out, helped with directions, have great local advice and always with a smile!! The bed was super comfortable, the shower was strong and always with hot water, the TV has loads of selection and even if the streets were a bit noisy in the early evening it always became quiet when it was time to sleep. There's a great little shop directly across the street that sells bits and pieces of everything so if you forgot your shampoo or toothbrush it's easy and cheap to replace!

I wish I had more nights in Florence!

This is a great hotel, very centrally located. The room was huge and very nicely decorated. It was very comfortable. There was a daily maid service and the WIFI was excellent. They served breakfast in the room, promptly on the time I had requested. Warm fresh croissants, bread, cheese and nice coffee. One can choose other options as well. The location, facilities and staff are really good. Honestly this place needs to be accorded a 4 star not a 2 star. There are stairs to the lift but I requested help and I was helped by a fabulous receptionist, who hauled my heavy bag up the stairs for me. They also helped me on checkout and stored my luggage. I loved the place. I would love to stay here on my next trip to Firenze.

Minor point; the pillows were not soft enough for me. But that is a personal preference. To access the lift there are 2 short flights of stairs but I was helped by the staff who were really nice and went out of the way.

The hotel is in an historic building in a narrow, quiet street close to Ponte Vecchio and a short walk to most of the city's famous attractions. Our room (12B) was large, with a big, comfortable bed, a big TV and a good, strong shower. The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful - they are a credit to the hotel. If we return to Florence, we would happily stay here again.

Nothing - for us, it was perfect. FYI - Elderly people or those with disabilities may struggle with the stairs up to the 1st floor, but there is a lift from the 1st floor up to the 2nd floor Reception.

The elevator starts on the second floor so luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs first. Also the shower stall in our room needs to be replaced. It was old, had some mold and the door leaked on the bathroom floor unless the shower head was turned away from the door area.

Breakfast that was included was a great value. The staff was always super friendly. Rooms were just big enough and comfortable. The rooms were hot, but the front desk can turn on the AC. The location was amazing. Two really great restaurants on the same road (Ristorante Toto, Mangiafoco Osteria Tartuferia). Close to all the major sights in Florence, would come back again for sure!

Our shower had a persistent leak that spilled water on the floor. Rooms were a little hot.

Really welcoming people here,so nice.Great central position,rooms full of old antique furniture,double bed was really comfortable,and as for the windows well,quite gorgeous with the view of the river and bell tower.

Not a massive deal but the stairs and tiny lift were difficult but again were in keeping with this lovely building.

Location is perfect: central and quiet. Piazza delle Signoria, Uffizzi galery, Ponte Vecchio and Via Tornabuoni just a few steps away. Staff is very efficient, friendly end present at the reception 24/7. The room was very good with a generous size of 40 m squared, minibar and safe. The bed was confortable with good sheets. En suite bathroom is not modern but has everything one needs with lots of hot water for a good shower (in the tub). Everything is spotless clean. We could leave our luggage there and pick it up at the end of the day.

The only minor glitch are the steps to climb to the reception. The property should renew the reception and entrance that don't give a great impression upon arrival.
