The hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to many sites and just blocks from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. We had one request to change one of the rooms to a room with a tub, which the staff accommodated easily and to a room with a balcony! The continental breakfast was the most amazing breakfast! Not you're "typical" continental breakfast. They had a variety of meats and cheeses, pastries, cereals, and fruits with delicious juices. We even had cappuccinos with one to go to take back to our balcony to enjoy! They also took care of parking our car overnight and brought it back for us the next day. They made our visit easy and enjoyable!

The one issue I had was with the other guests smoking in the non-smoking hotel. We blocked the door with a towel to help keep the smoke out of our room. That was really our only issue.

I didnt realise how very close it was to the Arno, Ponte Vecchio and the studio I was studying at - so that was great. The staff were very welcoming and, as I was on my own unexpectedly, that was a relief. Weeks previously I had requested a particular room and I was very pleased to find out that they had kept it for me; It had a terrace and as I wanted to paint during my stay- it was perfect.

Not very much at all. If there is any complaint at all I is that the food at the bar could be improved a little but the service at the bar was very good and they were aways very kind, friendly and prompt.

Location, location, location. Right on the bank of the river, steps from both Ponte Vecchio and Santa Trinita. A short stroll to the Doumo, the train station and the Santo Spirito neighborhood, the Boboli Gardens, Piazza Pitti and Ufizzi Gallery. One other thing was truly exceptional. We used the hotel laundry service to launder clothing worn during a month-long Europe trip. Each item was beautifully cleaned, pressed and folded, and returned to us the same day in individually-wrapped plastic covers. Fantastic!

Location - super close to Ponte Vecchio, and Palazzo Vecchio. Nice view (we stayed at room with river view). Breakfasts were really nice - not too much but enough!

It was a little bit cold in the room. And you must be ready that people will be shouting outside till midnight (so if you are going to sleep at early hours do not book room with river view).

Beautiful in every way. Pure romantic old charm and located in the best possible place in Florence just a short stroll to Ponte Vecchio and the old town. Gorgeously decorated with a very 20s vibe, rooms with every comfort. Breakfast had lots of choice and was delicious. Incredibly good value for money. The staff was attentive and helpful. I felt spoiled and did not want to leave.

Hotel’s location was great. It was close to many attractions. It was beautiful and comfortable. Room was spacious and had a beautiful water view. Staff was very friendly. They were very helpful with room change, dinner recommendations & reservations and transportation arrangements. Breakfast was excellent, both food and service.

Maybe a bit overpriced.

My friends and I had stayed at the hotel some years ago. It has maintained its high standard of comfort and service and we we found the hotel to be very well appointed and of course in an unrivalled location - a peaceful haven in heart of busy Florence. Excellent breakfast. Virtually all the members of staff we encountered we very polite, helpful and friendly, especially Claudio and Maximiliano in the bar. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The only unpleasantness we experienced was from the man on Reception on the evening of Saturday 28th May 22, and the night porter, who were extremely rude and would benefit from training in how to speak to, and deal with, hotel residents, as they appear to know very little about customer service or good manners

Beautiful decor, amazing location and AC worked very well.

Better signage outside would help. Kept walking past it looking for it.

Hotel Berchielli was the best choice I made in my trip to Italy. It's in a great location, very clean, has the best breakfast and coffee, and it has very professional and helpful staff in all aspects. It also has the best value for money in comparison to all other hotels I booked in Rome and Milan. In reality, it looks better than the photos.

The hotel location is right on the Arno River and in the heart of the old town. Everything is within walking distance. It was July and the AC worked well. The front desk staff were all outstanding. We were there 3 nights and they gladly made restaurant recommendations AND reservations for us. The breakfast buffet was extensive and extremely good. We didn't plan to spend much time in the room, so we chose one of the smaller rooms. For a European hotel, the room size was very generous. Two twin beds, a desk, a comfortable chair, fridge, tub/shower, bidet, and nice decorations made this room very comfortable.

There is very little to improve upon in this hotel.
