We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again! - The breakfast was really convenient to have since we were travelling, and there was a fridge for some things we brought with us, which was a big plus. - The location is great, a bit out of the centre but there's a bus stop just down the road and you can get to the Duomo in 20 minutes. - The cleanest bathroom I've ever seen! It was shared with another guest but that wasn't a problem at all for us. Honestly, the B&B exceeded all expectations and was the best option money-wise out of all the accomodation we looked at. The host also very kindly let us leave some of our bags there, which made our last day so much more comfortable, and let us explore more of the city.

Everything was great! We had no complaints.

The place was very modern and clean, and the hostess very hospitable. The breakfast largely packaged pastries and not your typical hot bacon and eggs.

We got quite a few bumps from bugs bites. I'm not sure what that was. Was it musquitoes or something else? I really hope it's not what I suspect. I am not going to take a chance when I get home because those things are nasty and notoriously hard, and expensive to get rid of.

Very happy with our short stay. Gianna met us at the apartment and explained everything. The apartment is upstairs but not hard to get to. Inside is very modern and well equipped. The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are well lit and spacious. There was plenty of food and refreshments provided for us. Because we had to leave very early at 4.00 AM Gianna’s husband was there before time as promised. Even though the apartment is not close to the major tourist attractions I am sure the public transport will be a good way to to reach all the attractions.

The host was very patient with us , very friendly and understanding with us. Also the room was really nice, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable, and location was not bad, there was a bus stop 2 mins walked away from the hotel to access to the city centre , also some store and restaurant near by ! Overall we highly recommend this place for stay in Florence!!!

Gianna is a really accomodating host; she let us check in early with no cost added just so we could drop off our baggage when we arrived in town. Cleanliness was impeccable, the shared bathroom was modern and hygienic, and the hosts make a really tasty breakfast of diverse sweets, buns, fruit, yogurt etc. very early every day. AC was working and clean Coffee, water and juice are available around the clock, and so is the kitchen and the fridge. Note that you can't use the stove. The B&B is located basically next to a 6/20 bus stop, which grants direct access to the train station (20min) and everything worth seeing (15min+some walking time as there are no buses in the center).

A lot of free street parking in the area. Wonderful and accommodating hosts who made everything very clear. A reminder that you pay in cash. Good breakfast options in the morning. Clean room.

For those who like to walk everywhere like me, it’s about a 35+ minute walk to some of the touristy areas. I don’t mind this, but for some it may be too far. But there are busses around you can take too!

It was a nice and clean room in a good area that wasn’t too far from the centre of Florence. We enjoyed walking along the river to go and come back from seeing the main attractions. A nice pub within 5 minutes with the locals was a great way to spend an evening.

We had the room along the main road so ear plugs were necessary but we new that beforehand.

The appartment was very nicely decorated and clean. There was plenty of food for breakfast.

We reserved a room with a double and a single bed. We were two colleagues and we were not to share the same bed. The host prepared only the double bed and there were no sheets in the room for the single bed so I ended up sleeping in a bed with no sheets and covered myself with my collegue's bed cover.

La Filarocca B&B is great accommodation for a night or two in Florence. We stayed one night and we are very satisfied. The center is 20 minutes away by bus.

Shared bathroom. This can be a problem when you have "roommates" without feelings who will be in the bathroom for even 30 minutes.

Good value for money. Clean and spacious room, nice breakfast. Very good contact with host and early check in with no additional costs. Good place if you travel by car, so you can easily find parking place, no charge.
