This place had amazing private parking which we were so grateful for during our trip to Florence. The parking is why we chose this place and Im so glad we did. It was in such a great location (20 min walk from the centre of Florence) and was such a lovely apartment with everything we needed. It was also really helpful that they had a reception with someone around all day to help answer any questions/make recommendation etc about Florence. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Florence if you're happy being a little out of the centre but easy walking distance.

There is a restaurant below the apartment that can be a little noisy. We didn't hear any customers but you can hear them setting up chairs/tables at the beginning of service in the evening. We were out in the evenings and by the time we got back, things seems to be winding down. It didn't disturb us at night time.

Apartment is in an excellent state (looked new to us) and has everything you could need. It’s a perfect stay for those visiting Florence by car while wanting to be able to walk to the city center (about 25 min to the cathedral on foot). Private (non-local) cars are not allowed in the historical center anyway so this was fine for us (ie park the car and explore on foot).

an extra gesture to have cold water waiting for us in the apartment would have been a nice surprise in the middle of the summer but it’s not really an expectation or a criticism..just something extra to make us feel more comfortable

+ The Staff was helpful and friendly + the Apartment itself is excellent! Spacious and bright + the bed is comfortable + one plate of ice cubs has already been prepared for us the freezer + there where tabs for dishwasher + the sponge to do the dishes was NEW. It doesn’t cost much, You just have to pay attention to it. But getting an used sponge is so unpleasant +/- One day (obviously on Sunday) the lift broke. But it got fixed within some hours.

Wifi could have worked little better, These below were no surprises are just a remarks: Washing machine would be excellent Is 20-25 minutes walking from the Duomo

This is a lovely place!! Sadly we couldn't stay longer as my partner's holiday was about to end, but you really get your money's worth here. The location is close enough to all the sights you could want to see while still offering perks like a parking space. Yes, I probably needed a few more turns than the average Italian before my car was parked, but they are big enough for your average car. (And mine has a horrible turning circle.) The apartment was cleverly designed and offers everything you could ever ask for. The bed was amazing, and I might have thought about stealing the mattress for a second or two ;-) The employee we dealt with was extremely friendly but if you book here, keep an eye on your phone, they might have a few questions. If we ever make it back, I'll look for availability here first.

The apartment was a good size for three people: one room with a double bed, and one convertible sofa which was comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished, the balcony is definitely a plus if the weather is nice. The staff took time to explain all the must-see places, the way to get there and where available almost all day long if we had any question.

The only thing I'd mention as an issue was the shower, pretty small and old, which didn't make it easy for us to clean our hair (it's okay with short hair though). The location is alright if you are fine with walking quite a lot (which was our case, not complaining) but just be aware that the bus tickets can only be bought at kiosks, train/tram stations but not on the bus.

We had a great stay at la farina Apartments. Check In was really easy and our apartment was huge! Difficult to know which one you'll get from the photos online. The beds were really comfortable and had everything you may need, especially if you do want to cook. Location is a little further out of the city but worth it if you do want an apartment. It's around a 30minute walk to the city, which was super easy, not much in the way of public transport.

It is located opposite a fire station. It only went off once late at night, don't let this put you off just a heads up.

We had some trouble getting to Florence from Rome at the train station, staff in Rome were no help, we missed our train and missed the check in time! Lovely Laura from Farina Apartments was absolutely AMAZING! She rang us to ensure we were okay and sent us details for self check in as we didn’t arrive till late evening. Apartment was lovely, cozy bed, air con was fantastic, facilities brilliant. Definitely recommend a stay here!

The room above had a crying baby but that can’t be helped. The kitchen window sounds like it was open..

Almost everything was perfect. Size of room(s), cleanness and comfort. Also kitchen was more then adequate equipped. Sofa and bed was more then pleasing for rest. Walk of the hotel to the center is around 20 min walk which is quite fine, and hotel is on very nice neighborhood. Garage had enough space for no worry parking. Host was very nice and gave us all needed info about place to stay and also little tips about Florence.

Only bad side was restaurant or bar which is in hotel which had guests to midnight or 01, and if you needed rest it can get a bit noisy.

Great location, walking distance to centre of Florence and yet easy to find you way around by car too (when you leave the city). Having private parking was fabulous - it is a must if you have a car in Florence. the interiors were modern and wonderfully clean.

Not a huge problem but you can easily hear other guests coming/going at all hours. This is certainly not the apartments fault, but if you are a light sleeper, it’s just something to be aware of, more so than other locations we have stayed.

Apartment is in a great community location. Just perfect distance from the busy tourist spots. We got to experience the local community life with great anvalue for money restaurants and it was only a 25 min stroll to Ponte Vechio etc… Well serviced by public transport too. Apartment is well equipped and the AC is great for hot days. Hosts are amazingly helpful and are onsite from early morning to late evening to answer any questions.

Nothing - will book again.
