The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The hostess was kind and very accommodating. We arrived prior to check-in thinking we would just drop our luggage and come back in an hour but Tiziana checked us in and took us to our room. This was very much appreciated after a long travel. Tiziana also responded quickly replacing a hair dryer that was not working. She goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable! I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Florence. It is a little bit away from the center of the city. But it is an easy walk and a nice way to see more of the city.

The only think that was a bit of a frustration was the door to our building. It had a separate lock and was a bit finicky to open. Otherwise everything was wonderful!

Beautiful vintage style room, felt very luxurious. The full tub in the bathroom was an unexpected surprise that was taken advantage of after walking around Florence all day. Near the soccer stadium, but no games when we were there, so it was relatively quiet. Nice staff and very secure location. It is close/walkable to the secondary train station (Firenze Campo Marte) which made it easy to get around. It's about 20–25 minutes to walk to city center using the bridge shortcut.

Listing does say breakfast included-this was not a hot/fresh breakfast and food was pre-packaged. Not a problem for us, but just wanted to note that for others.

Close by the train station campo di marte, with a 7 minute walk to the hotel. Taziana, was really helpful with our late check in and was very kind and attentive with our arrival. 2 complementary watter bottles which are really valued with a smal fridge inside the room. Snakcs and coffee in the common room were great to start the day early if necessary. Not a touristic area, mailny locals and safe to walk around, and a quiet neighborhood so you will have a good rest. They stowed our bags for free while we were visiting the city in a safe room. Definitely looks like the pictures if not better.

The light enters early morning through the window since the curtain is light/thin, however it's definitely not a deal breaker.

The room itself and the value for money is incredible. We stayed for two nights in the Summer amidst a 3 city tour of Italy and this was by far the best value for money we got. The lady who checked us in was also very friendly and helpful. Plus the air conditioning was PHENOMENAL in a heatwave lol

The location is a bit of a pain in the rear, but if you don't mind getting a bus (download the "at bus" app to pay for tickets, it's much easier) for ≈20mins to get into Florence centre then it's not really a problem. We did also walk one evening and it takes about 40 minutes.

We were greeted by very friendly lady owner/staff member, room and the entire Guesthouse were decorated really pretty. Picture of the room and all the pictures of Palazzo Lombardo 100% matched the pictures from booking.com. Our messages were answered straight away. Room size was good, very clean, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped and very clean. Guesthouse offers free coffee and breakfast/snacks. We stayed there 2 nights, and travelled to Rome from there. Rome termini to Camo Di Marte where Palazzo Lombardo is located took us 5 min, cost EUR 1.5 one way per person, Regional Train. Tickets bought online from the app trainline.com just few minutes before departure. We had to walk to the Palazzo 3 min on foot, so in general it was perfect ratio price/location.

All good

The room was very nice and clean . They offered snacks and tea and coffee for breakfast but you did not have to pay for it. It was very quiet.

The hotel is a little out of the main centre we did walk in and out but it took over 45 minutes each way. If you not a walker you need taxi Our room was not in the main building so after carrying our luggage up the stairs to reception we then had to carry them back down and around to the side of the building which had more stairs. We understand a lot of these old building can not have lifts but help with luggage would have been nice.

Fancy hotel, clean rooms, with all you need. Near is bus stop, cafes. In the kitchen can use free tea/coffee with a sweet cakes and biscuits every morning. Its located not in the city center, but we took a long walks, so no problem. And they have a cute vagabond cat.

Bad, that it was impossible to use kicthen for cooking and our room was on the second floor, with a narrow staircases, that made climbing with a heavy bags hard.

Plus- special location, an old, elegant building, tastefully furnished room, impeccable cleanliness -refrigerator, efficient air conditioning, TV, very comfortable bed -Large bathroom, clean, equipped with all the necessary -common kitchen, very large, clean, coffee machine with excellent free coffee, free prepackaged snacks -across the street is a well-stocked store if you need water or food -Our room was on the ground floor, with entrance through a beautiful garden with palm trees -extremely nice host, with whom you can have a pleasant conversation -Paid parking on the street, there are enough places, 1 euro per hour. The host recommended us a guarded parking lot nearby but we preferred to park on the street being a safe, quiet area -nearby I could take the bus to Ponte Vecchio and back I got to a nearby station -the location is easily found with GPS. Park in the area marked in blue -recommended location even for a longer stay (stay in Florence for at least two days) -fair price

Minus- The surrounding restaurants have closed due to the pandemic. Stock up from the store across the street for dinner-beware that it closes at 8 p.m. -no minus for the hotel

Our stay at this property was excellent. Mrs Tiziana is a kind, friendly and helpful host. The location is clean and elegant, situated approx. 700 meters from the train station Firenze Campo di Marte and approx. 100 meters from a bus stop from where you can take practically any bus to the center of Florence. The hostess tried to be as discreet as possible and provided us with useful information whenever we asked for it. We will definitely return to this property when we visit Florence again.

This is not the case.

Nice room, nice host, nice area, bus stop and train station nearby for city centre. Restaurants within a few metres.

A little too far from centre but bus stop and small railway station nearby so easy link to Florence centre. Strangely a big mosquito problem, we had to buy a spray after being eaten alive first night- probably because of the high ceilings.
