Staff and location was incredible super accommodating and kind. The interior design is incredibly unique, the feel is as if you're staying in somebody's beautiful home. Breakfasts in the small garden terrace are a delight. The food is amazing and fresh. My boyfriend actually proposed to me in the garden! And the staf helped him prep for it, they also moved my rose he gave me from room to room as we changed rooms (very cute).

We unfortunately made a mistake with our booking and had to swap rooms twice during our stay as we needed to add two extra nights. Our first stay on the second floor suite was incredible very quiet with view of garden. The second room was a larger two floor suite, the room was amazing but there was a very strong strange smell that was quite bothersome. The last night we had to stay on street level in the room right next to the entrance door. This room is NOT worth the price and stay: it is extremely dark, you hear every car passing over the pothole and hear every conversation or person entering the room. From bathroom you feel as if you're in the hallway with zero privacy.

the staff was Nice and the place was cute

we got the room just in front of the front door. because of that we could hear when every person entered the door. so when the staff came in to work in the morning, we could hear everything. And the same late in the evening when guests were coming home. that was sadly very disturbing for our sleep. Its the only thing we can say that were bad for our stay. Im sure another room not directly in front of the front door would be a whole other experience. We defenetly Think This room is not suitable for renting out because of where its placed. it would probably work great as an Office.

Started with a plain discreet old heavy door, this hidden gem of a hotel is a perfect hideaway. You would easily miss it from the street until you enter an amazing period charm hotel beyond. There you find just the most perfectly and sensitively renovated old building and our accom was a character full charming suite. Simply stunning. Large Bedroom, stairs to a high gallery overlooking the bedroom, with lounge, kitchenette and bathroom with very private top balcony terrace with outdoor chairs/table. Amazing. Main stairs between floors were centuries old stone steps, 3 flights, with quaint landings each retaining very old stone features. Great hosts, amazing breakfast room and courtyard, just a hidden home from home. A trip back in time with modern renno.

Honestly almost nothing. The only comment was the stairs; on the main stairs, incredibly charming but steep, worn stone, and glad I was able bodied. The hotel provides a slow lift so caters for less able people.

We thought that Ottantto was a beautiful hotel with some stunning classic features. The decor and style was lovely and you can tell the hotel has been renovated to high standard. Lovely fire in the main room downstairs with a good selection at the honesty bar which was very handy to come back to after a long day sightseeing. Beautiful garden kept to a high standard and lovely touch being able to eat breakfast outside. Staff were very friendly. Great shower and good location.

We would have liked some help booking taxis in the evening and it did feel a bit strange not being greeted when we arrived. We feel it would be better for reception staff to be there more. We booked the superior room which I thought would be the room with the garden view and beautiful bright windows. However we had another room which was stunning but maybe not as much as the other one - maybe there should be a deluxe room option to avoid confusion. Also better shower products would be good for example some body wash.

The details in decoration were beautiful. They do a wonderful job in providing all of the comforts of home. The breakfast was very good and Jessica, who provided the breakfast, was super friendly.

The noise outside the bedroom window was too much at all hours of the day and night.

I stayed 6 nights in a superior room (number 2) overlooking the beautiful garden. It was very peaceful and a relaxing room to come back to after a busy day sightseeing. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a shower, no bath but for me that wasn’t necessary. Toiletries provided. Breakfast was served daily at 8 am. It was a varied spread and I especially enjoyed the frittata that Jessica made every morning. Fresh pastries, granola, fruit and various cheeses and cut meats were also on offer. The hotel is centrally located so it easy to get to all major attractions by foot. The advantage of staying on the other side of the Arno is that it is quieter and feels more authentic. The hotel has 7 rooms and this adds to the sense of intimacy that I particularly appreciated. Thank you Jessica, Linda and Andrés for a wonderful stay in your beautiful city.

No coffee facilities in the room which I would expect from a boutique hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel, so nice to be in such an small hotel of only a handful of rooms. The decor was beautiful and it was a great addition to have the outdoor space. Breakfast was really good, so nice to have food served and cooked in front of you and coffee served how you like

The pillows could have been firmer - that is just personal preference - otherwise the hotel was fantastic and we would stay again

I loved it - the room was comfortable and attractive, the common areas were beautiful, the location is great - feels a little off the beaten path, hence a nice respite from the city - even though the walk to the Arno and Santo Spirito is mere minutes. The highlight was the terrace and garden - beautiful and serene. Staff were around in the morning and friendly and helpful, and the person in the kitchen made the most delicious coffee with perfect foam.

Well-located just across the Arno River, easy to reach the super city center (but in the case of Florence there is no issue in order to reach the core of the city), the palazzetto is divinely curated with outstanding taste in terms of lights, decor and food for breakfast. The staff is extremely nice and go beyond their kindness to help out. Highly recommended to enjoy a piece of Italian good taste, feeling at home outside of your own home.

Nothing.
