The hostel is perfectly located for a city getaway, next to one of, if not the main square, and a 10 minute walk down to the ancient port. In the area there are many bars, trattorias and shops. The facilities are a bit old, but the hostel is well organised, and the rooms are quite big, which is definitely a plus. Breakfast was an unexpected surprise, as it's normally not provided in hostels! Staff were super nice and accommodating, and the walking tour with Spyros was a nice addition. Would recommend for a young solo traveller!

My room had a dedicated shower, but it was so small that there were barely any space to put things down or dry off, and it was easier to use the other showers.

The staff is amazing. So friendly. The owner came by just when I was about to leave, and he gave me recommendations for exploring the city. Seems like he loved his city and has a lot of knowledge. The bus stop is hust 2 minutes walk down the street. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and cozy and comfortable common area and kitchen. They let me leave my luggage in storage for the day, free of charge.

It's an old beautiful building with no elevator, and the hostel is on the 2nd floor. Don't bring large suitcases like I did :) The showers/toilets could be a little cleaner, but I think it wasn't the staff's fault, but the guests.

The staff is amazing! Very kind and available for everything. They give you lots of eating recommendations, very good and cheap. The neighbourhood is great! Really near of the historical city centre. The room was huge! They have a payed washing machine in case you need it, and clotheslines from free. The breakfast is included, assorted and abundant!

The hostel is two longs floors up by stairs, not very comfy when you're traveling with suitcase! The main entrance is also upstairs the main level of the street.

Property was good location, extremely friendly + very helpful staff who provided recommendations on where to go and eat. Spacious lockers for small-medium bags and valuables that they provided the lock for. Bottom bunks had a curtain around the bed and fans were in the vicinity of every bed. The property itself felt secure with a door code needed for the street door then another code needed for the door into the hostel. However the doors to the rooms didn’t have their own lock, which was fine with the locker provided for valuables. The hostel has its own WhatsApp group chat which is good to communicate with other guests/staff, they also have links attached on what to see/where to go/eat so was super informative. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to either train station, I only came and left Genova via Brignole, which was an uphill walk to the hostel.

The door of the room didn’t close properly meaning throughout the night if not closed and handle put up properly the door would repeatedly slam close and then reopen endlessly. In the room I was in one of the shutters wouldn’t fully close so if you’re sensitive to light it could be an issue, or a nice wake up call.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. They gave us a fantastic guide to places to visit and eat. Every recommendation exceeded our expectations, especially on a budget! The location was fantastic. It was right in the center of the old town. We were able to get everywhere we needed to go by foot. Farther places were accessible via a nearby taxi and bus stand. The facilities were clean and spacious. The shared bathroom and kitchen were fully stocked for our needs. We highly recommend staying here!

There honestly was not much to dislike. The private rooms are in a different part of the building from the check-in area. Beware of carrying luggage that you cannot transport upstairs to check-in, although staff will be happy to help you. The private rooms had access to an elevator. Like most housing in Europe, the walls were thin. I think it is good to remember that families may be staying in the adjourning rooms.

The Hostel is located approximately in Center of Genova . The main Square Piazza De Ferrari is just walkable distance . All the Shopping areas are nearby . Breakfast is simple , but essentially fulfilling. The building seems a old building , with medieval like paintings on the roof. Quite interesting. The Reception Staff was much helpful in guiding for the tours and the Important tourist spots in Genoa. Especially , The Staff Sara - was pleasant and very approachable and helpful for any City Related information.

Nothing as such. The hostel is at the third floor - But its Ok. No way for Lifts , as its a Old building

The hostel is located in a charming building, very well positioned in the heart of Genova's historic center. The shared dorm where I stayed was spacious and bright, with comfy bunk beds and big lockers - a padlock was also provided. The structure itself is very pretty and has a pleasant atmosphere. I much appreciated the kindness and dedication of the Staff, as well as the free breakfast included in the price. Would definitely recommend and be returning here if I happen to be in Genova again.

Staff are the friendliest people ever. The location is perfect - near the main square and 20 mins on foot to the train station. Our room was really nice, comfy bed, enough space for everything. I would only prefer more natural light, but most of the time we're out for a beach or city walk so it's not a big deal. I particularly liked the kitchen.

This property was absolutely beautiful with lots of historical interior design. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I was very pleased with the breakfast lay out; I felt it was very generous. I cooked a more complicated Italian dinner one night and the kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. I look forward to returning.

The only thing is that there is no air conditioning and the nights can get hot but I still think this was an excellent stay.

stuff helpful, kitchen with everything you need to cook, cofee and tea through the day if you want it a lot of bathrooms and toilets, good wifi

Location is not bad, but I would prefer another part of the city to stay if i saw that place before Showers are fixed at the top and this makes it difficult to wash your entire body properly The door to the room did not close well, and it was noisy. Awful smell in the building outside hostel itself
