What a wonderful stay! Everything is perfect at Volver B&B! Amazing base to discover Lecce and the rest of Puglia - it is located few steps from the Railway Station (but without any disturbing noises!) and in the short walking distance to Centro Storico, the real "Florence of the South". We have rented the whole apartment - spacious, clean, well-equiped and atmospheric, with the genuine feel of staying at Italian authentic Palazzo. Do not expect modern space - it is authentic and full of charm. The Host, Federica, is amazing and kind, she is making you feel like at home, but at the same time with respecting total privacy of guests. The contact was professional, self check-in very easy and yes, thank you for delicious Pasticciotto cakes as welcome gift! When (and not if!) we return to Lecce, Volver will become our home again!

Nothing - everything was perfect! Yes, there are some stairs to reach the apt, but nothing to be worried about - nice exercise and wonderful feel of entering the real Italian Palazzo!

Beautiful, spacious, old-fashioned room with high ceiling and antique furniture (and cold terrazzo floor). Parking (metered) was possible in front of the building. close to train station and old city centre.

We enjoyed our stay at the Volver B&B. The style of the place is a very charming Italian apartment. It is ideally located a 3-5 minute walk to the train station in one direction and a 5-7 minute walk in the other direction to the historical city center. The host was super friendly and accommodating. We had the room with a spacious balcony, where we really enjoyed having our aperetivo.

The only negative points would be the stairs to get to the apartment if you have lots of luggage. No big deal for us, and the host offered to help us, but this could be strenuous to certain people with mobility issues.

The old building itself and the communal area of the B&B are full of character and the bedroom is large, light, clean, comfortable and furnished in keeping. The terrace is a real bonus. As mentioned by others, the breakfasts are delicious, varied, plentiful and offered locally sourced/grown products. The location of Volver couldn’t be better for accessing the old town, the train station and bus stops but is also relatively peaceful and feels safe. The host, Federica, maintains the perfect balance between being available and helpful when required but quietly discreet and unobtrusive when not. Communication before and during is efficient and clear. Lecce is a stunning city and a great base for exploring Salento and Volver B&B would be hard to beat.

Our host, Federika and her assistant, Imma were outstanding - friendly and very helpful. Our questions and requests were responded to immediately. The location is excelllent, close to the train station, the old town and many restaurants close by. Be aware that the apartments are on the third floor and building has no lift/elevator. This was fine for us, although Imma did carry our carry-on luggage up when we arrived and back down when we had completed our stay. There was always plenty of hot water.

The weather, and consequently the building, we’re unseasonably cool during our stay and quite chilly the first night. However, Federika came over as soon as I texted her and was able to quickly resolve this issue.

A spacious, clean and beautiful property in a walkable distance from the city center. The hostess was helpful and nice. Public transportation is near the location.

There isn’t any option to access tap water except bathroom. You may boil water in the breakfast room though but still a tap and a sink would be nice in common areas. No markets anywhere near. AC was mounted so that it couldn’t cool down well the high ceiling room.

The owner Federica is a fantastic host, she was very attentive and gave us useful information about Lecce, places to see and what public transport to use to various places. The apartment was very clean and centrally located in the historical centre, with lots of attractions and restaurants close by. We will be back to this B&B it was an amazing stay, it was 2 minutes walk to Lecce’s central station.

I loved everything about our stay at Volver’s B&B

The most spacious and nice furnitured bedroom I have stayed in Italy. 3 minute walk to the railway station and 12 minute to city center. I have to go to office early in the morning everyday so Federica leave a variety of food for my breakfast including fruit, juice and yogurt. There are microwave oven, toaster and fridge in the public area. Federica is very kind helping me with my heavy luggage at check-in and check-out (2nd floor).

The property was very close to the railway station and easy walk into the city. The room was lovely and spacious and beautifully appointed. Our host allowed us to leave our suitcases at the property well before checkin time and even came down the 70 steps to carry luggage up to our rooms. The breakfast she prepared each morning were wonderful, plus the info we gathered for our city walks.

Only a small grumble, for a fit couple in their late 70’s, the climb up the stairs was a little tough each time. Perhaps needs to be emphasised more in the reviews that there is no lift. Would love to stay again as the Rooms were wonderful.

This is an great apartment! The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great each morning. The whole stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The apartment is in a very interesting building. It is situated on the edge of the old town of Lecce. Lecce is a fantasic place to visit - lots of barock to enjoy and many great restaurants. Highly recommended!
