Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, very close to the beach and to the centre of Lido. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were available 24/7. The beds and room were very comfortable. We didn't eat there but the breakfast option looked good too. The garden was such a nice place to hang out, beautifully maintained and quiet with lots of room to eat, drink, smoke or just relax. There was also a small cozy bar there that was open all night which was very convenient. All in all it was a wonderful stay in a fantastic hotel and the staff were amazing. The decor was cool. The price was very reasonable, a great price anyway and particularly because of all of the aforementioned points.

The only minor fault I could find with the hotel, and it was very minor considering everything else was amazing, was just that the hotel was a little old and there wasn't much ventilation, but this didn't matter at all in the rooms because there were great windows with lovely and practical shutters and it didn't matter in the hotel itself either, so really just in the stairway and hallway.

Everything was great from the first moment we opened the hotel door. A very kind and warm welcome, the feeling that you are really taken care of, you are an important guest. I also liked that they ask if there are any allergies or food intolerance before arrival. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the room was cleaned and the bed made every day. Breakfast was delicious. My daughter especially liked that she could choose different drinks in the coffee machine - hot chocolate, cappuccino, etc. And of course an important thing - location. Vaparetto, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. Plus, if you're feeling particularly lazy, you can also take a few stops from the boat pier by bus, because the same ticket is valid for the boat.

The hosts Stella / Gianluca and the whole stuff are great people ! Very friendly and supportive they try to fulfill your needs and wishes you have. The house with its great traditional design of history is very close to the beach of the Lido or the Venice Cinema Festival area (max. around a 5min walk). Its a very calm and quiet place with a nice garden where you can sit outside and take your breakfast or your drinks at the evening. Within a 10/15min walk you reach the station where you can take the Vaporetto to Venice / San Marco or the Giardini Biennale/ 10min. If you look for a place away from tons of tourists and noise I would recommend the house a lot. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is great !!! First of all the service team was gorgeous. They gave me a lot of important information about our arrival during a national strike. We were traveling by train and public transportation system but we made it to the lido thanks to them. They offered great support by finding supermarkets, the best beach or could give really interesting knowledge about Venice, the lido, the various option to enjoy the vacation. They were all very lovely. The room was so clean and nice, we got a beautiful terrace with an amazing view. One day we had a great breakfast buffet with so much fresh fruits, cakes, ham or bacon, various cheeses and everything else one could desire for breakfast. For me as an hobby artist it was a pleasure to see real art on the hallway walls. Very unique paintings and drawings in all different kinds of styles were amazing to watch while going or leaving the room.

Everything was perfect.

The location was great only just over 10 minute walk to the Water Bus and less than 5 minutes to a wonderful beach. Hotel despite its age was very clean and well maintained.

An old characterful hotel but a bit basic and maybe due an update particularly the bathroom. Surprised that the water provided was chargeable and no facility to make a hot drink. No ironing facility available due to local laws but cost to have items ironed was quite high per item. Breakfast was overpriced at 15 euros per person so cannot comment as to quality / quantity. Plenty of towels provided but were not very soft and were very thin. The shampoo & soaps provided were also quite basic.

The hotel was gorgeous. But, Claudia was the most outstanding aspect of this visit. What should have been a routine check-in became a rescue mission. If not for her assistance I may have missed my cruise. I was not in the correct place. She convinced me that I could navigate the train system. The next morning Mattie had arranged a taxi to start me on my journey. It worked! I reached my cruise and had a wonderful experience. I feel like Claudia was an Angel. Customer service like this is rare. If only I had had more time to appreciate the hotel.

When I made my booking I requested a hotel close to the celebrity cruise terminal in Raveena. I had never been to this part of Italy. I had no idea that this hotel did not meet my requirements. Of course I couldn’t contact the hotel until I had make the booking

Spent a week at the hotel. Made to feel very welcome by owners and staff, nothing too much trouble. They were very helpful with peoples queries, especially moving around the islands and boat crossings Breakfast was worth the extra expense as there wasn't a breakfast cafe in close proximity to the hotel. Lots of choice and as much as we needed for a hearty breakfast. The room was big, the bed was very comfy, and the toiletries were nice, all very clean, Outside area had lots of choice of seating and it was nice to sit and read with the only background noise being birdsong, close to restaurants and a few shops and beach was a 2 minute walk away. Island was big enough to have decent walks but small enough to enjoy the peace and quiet, especially after busy days in Venice. Would not hesitate in recommending or returning again

There were a couple of late night disturbances of people returning from a night out, nothing major enough to complain, just a bit irritating to be woken up and certainly not the hotels fault.

Hotel Meridiana is a beautiful and well maintained property on the Venice Lido steps from the beach. I was communicated with prior to my arrival and warmly welcomed by the reception. My room (a deluxe double) was huge and gorgeously decorated with blue Venetian prints. The bathroom was also huge and supremely clean with a great shower/bath and room for drying my bathing suits/towel from the beach. I loved staying so close to beach so I could walk over for a quick dip in the hot afternoons and it was a welcome escape from the crowds of Venice. The place itself is so relaxing and gorgeous at every turn. Plus they have an exceptional hot breakfast every morning from 8-1030 in the garden. I really loved my stay at this lovely hotel and all the Italian hospitality I received.

The hotel itself is a solid 15 minute walk from the ferry station which can be a bit far with luggage. So I’d advise planning ahead and packing light (big luggage is very hard in Venice in general) or arrange ahead of time for a taxi to transport anyone with mobility constraints.

We came with our bikes and spend 3 nights in La Meridiana and definitely recommend it! From the ferry it was fast and easy to reach and parking the bikes in the garden was no problem either. Our room was simple and beautiful and we even had an own patio. The breakfast in the beautiful garden was very delicious, nearby is the beach and many restaurants. What we enjoyed the most was the help and kindness of Claudia, the receptionist. In any belongings, no matter what she helped us a lot . We are very thankful for that! Grazie mille Claudia!

We mainly selected the hotel for its location, price and spacious room. Location - The hotel allowed relaxing atmosphere away from crowd of Venice. You can use your Venice Day pass for bus in Lido, so reaching hotel is not an issue but we preferred walking. The hotel is also close to the beach (private but open to public as it had not officially opened), so after checkout, we left luggage at hotel and spent a few hours at beach. Staff - Hotel staff was very polite, helpful and also made reservation to one of the best restaurant in the area (Ristorante gera ora) for our birthday night. Room - We booked premium double room with balcony which was very clean and spacious. The balcony was also nice with a small view of ocean. Daily housekeeping did a good job every day. We didnt had to make a single request for new towel or any toiletteries.
