We stayed in a Lagoon View Suite for a week in December. The view of the lagoon was wonderful with the panoramic Venice coastline. The suite was comfortable and very practical. Hotel extremely well located : close to waterbus and restaurants. All staff ( reception, breakfast, cleaning) were welcoming, discrete and aware of guests' needs. Nice varied well-presented breakfast buffet.

Everything perfect except plastic teaspoon melts in hot tea !

Wonderful hotel, very well decorated, 100 mtrs from Lido Vaporetto station. (10 minutes boat to Venice). I stayed in a family suite overlooking the lagoon. It had 1 bedroom, a stay area with a sofa bed, both with TV, nice bathroom with amenities, a kitchenette (you have to pay 60 euros if you want to cook), a refrigerator with free sodas and water and beer. Also a coffeemaker with suplies. The decoration was very venetian. It also has an excellent buffet breakfast in a dining room with a view over the lagoon and Venice. It had the best cheesecake I ever ate. Lots of options! A short walk to Lido beach. Relationship price / quality was excellent. Very recommended. Cannot wait to go back again!!

It was noisy at night as room was alongside main road and recycling bins. The variety and supply of food at breakfast was disappointing.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Amazing location and views across the lagoon to Venice. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice and quality in the buffet and even the option of prosecco! Room was large and comfortable. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The location is perfect just close to the vaporetto stop for the 15min boat ride into Venice and close to restaurants, shops, etc... Lido is lovely, quieter, and more open and airy than Venice, and there's the added bonus of the sandy beach.

An amazing location, on Lido looking over the lagoon up into Venice. The hotel was beautiful inside and more authentic Italian, older in style and furniture but absolutely immaculate. The reception and housekeeping staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful. We stayed over the Festa del Redentore weekend, the staff in restaurant were extremely busy and working very hard. They had less time for conversation and appeared a wee bit stressed therefore service was a little slow. However, this did not detract from our stay and we would highly recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay when in Venice.

Hotel Villa Laguna is based in an exclusive location with its own pier, and very close to the ferry and bus routes. Our 2 bedroom suite was just perfect for 2/4 people. It had its own private balcony where we sat and watched from the 2nd floor. The staff were extremely friendly and booked private transfers to and from the airport for us (30 mins). The suite was cleaned every day and the breakfast was perfect. We are looking forward to returning again. Direct ferries to Burano,. Murano, Venice and San Giorgio islands every few minutes. Thanks to the staff for a memorable holiday.

great location with amazing terrace, close to the vaporetto station. Hotel is old fashioned, but in a nice way.

the staff was not overly helpful - arriving 10 minutes past breakfast time, they were not ok with giving me some hot water fot tea (I did not ask for food or anything), which I find very unusual in Italy, where everyone is so friendly generally. The small kitchen in the suite is a great idea, but they ask you for 70 Euros extra if you use it, so that is not great either.

The view is the best you could hope for. We initially got a 4 person room on the 4th floor, but parts of the roof were slanted so if you're taller than 160 cm, you might bang your head. The 4th floor room was spacious, but the one bedroom has a tiny window, so you may not like that. We requested a move to the 2nd floor room just below, and the staff took care of us in the morning, which made our trip awesome. Breakfast was excellent and was on the terrace overlooking the lagoon...you can't get much better that looking over to Venice. You have outdoor and indoor options, and the style was very rich. Classic Venetian. Location - you might worry about the location being away from Venice, but don't. The vaporetto (water bus) line 1 or 5.1 from the train station will get you there in 40 min, and you can pick a route to go through the Grand Canal to get there. Also, you get easy access to the free beach (spiaggia libera) using the Actv pass (which you need for the vaporetto). As we were here in August, the crowds in the main piazza were intense. So it was just great getting away by hopping on the water bus and relaxing at the hotel. The staff were also great and really helpful! Got us a reservation at a recommended place and did everything to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

All the staff were excellent and very helpful. We were given a large suite on the top floor of the hotel with a fantastic view over the lagoon to Venice which had a very comfortable sofa and kitchenette and a nice size bedroom with two closets. The suite can accommodate four people as the sofa made into a bed.The location was perfect for getting the boat to Venice and also near many local restaurants. Importantly, the room had great air conditioning. We parked in the hotel lot which worked well. The breakfast buffet was excellent and since the weather was great we ate breakfast on the terrace.

There would be an extra charge had we wanted to use the kitchen but I don’t think one could actually cook there as there was no oven and only a small electric two ring. The bathroom was attractive and modern but since the room is in the rafters the head room in the shower was restricted. Friday and Saturday nights there were several motorboats racing around in front of the hotel but of course there is not much the hotel can do about that.

The location of Villa Laguna couldn't be more perfect. It is a beautiful villa with lots of character and charm. It is located a few steps from the Lido port, overlooking the stunning view of Venice. The breakfast was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, and we loved the decor. The bed was comfortable, the room and the bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Next time we would love to have a room with a view. One morning the breakfast was taken down at 10:00 sharp, which is unusual (even if breakfast is until 10:00, other hotels always leave at least some food out for another few minutes.)
