Location perfect, right beside historic centre of Mestre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was as expected, very comfortable, good bed, room cleaned and towels replaced daily. Mini fridge in room. Quiet location for sleeping at night. Hotel sold bus tickets (€1.50) for the No 2 bus which was right outside the door and took you straight to historic Venice. Approx15/20 mins drive and buses came every 15 mins daily, every 30 mins on Sunday.

Staff was great, breakfast was good. Location was good for use of public transportation to get to the Venice Islands. We parked our rental car at the hotel that I think was included in the price. Parking was very limited and tight (six cars could fit in the space by parking back to back and door to door). The staff helped and it turned out well but it and meant leaving the car and taking the bus or tram to and from Venice Island.

We were on second floor with no elevator to get our luggage up the stairs.

The location was very good, with bus no 2 in the front of the hotel you can reach Venice in 20-25 minutes. Breakfast was good comparing with the way that usually Italian hotels understand a breakfast. Room was also ok, taking into account that was a triple room. Bathroom needs some improuvments but is acceptable. One big advantage is hotel parking that was free. I think there is a place for maximum 8 cars. But it is a solution in case that is not enough place in the hotel parking, but this solution is with payment. It is a family business and the owners try to do their best for the guests. Also the hotel is very close to Mestre city center.

At the breakfast was not any vegetables, even at lease a tomato.

We arrived for a 3 night stay, breakfast is ordered the day before and is served (not buffet); which for us was very convenient. Location is superb with easy access to buses that go to Venice Piazzale Roma since the bus stop is in front of hotel and one can buy bus tickets from hotel reception. Rooms a bit dated but very clean, towels are changed daily and room is cleaned daily as well. Bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMENDED will stay there again.

There in no lift (elevator) but since it is a small hotel and we were situated in the first floor it wasn't an issue for us.

Conveniently located in front of a bus station where you can catch route No.2, you'll have direct access to Venice. Additionally, you can purchase tickets easily at the hotel reception, which is a great convenience. The breakfast provided was of excellent quality, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and needs were met. I enthusiastically recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to Venice.

All the staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice, and with the change of room due to the arrival of my son, they were quick to supply the second room in the morning. Breakfast was excellent, providing a filling meal to start the day, and also nice having everything brought to the table by staff. Getting to Venice was simple, with a bus stop just outside the entrance, and tickets purchasable at hotel reception. Also nice walking through the centre of Mestre which was close with shops, restaurants and great ice cream, and felt very safe.

Not to be included for public viewing, but I was given a credit card receipt for the days I stayed on the day I left, so need to check that I didn't pay twice, as I payed for the rooms on Booking.com a month or so before.

Very friendly staff, bus number 2 that goes directly to Venice stops in front of the hotel itself. Tickets for public transport (vaporetto, bus, tram...) can be bought at the reception. Very clean room, good breakfast. The center of Mestre is located 100 m from the hotel, there are nice restaurants and cafes. Free parking if there is space in the yard. Highly recommended if you are staying for 3 days.

In the room, you can hear the drain from the upper rooms, the soundproofing is poor.

This is one of the most beautiful accommodation experiences in Europe. Perfect location, in the centre of Mestre, with the bus station for Venice right in front of the hotel. It takes 20 minutes to Piazzale Roma. Private parking was perfect. But the personnel of Hotel Garibaldi is amazing. So helpful and kind. We heard about fantastic breakfast, but we didn't have it. Next time we will. Rooms are beautiful, comfy and clean. Bathrooms as well... We will come back for sure! And recommend! <3

This location had free parking and was within 15 minutes of the airport. Was a great hotel for the night before a morning flight. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood within walking distance.

The bathroom was very tight which is par for European hotels. The shower curtain did not do a great job of containing the water during the shower so had to be careful to clean-up the water. They also do not have an elevator and rooms are on third floor so you have two flights of stairs to walk-up.

A very convenient location for visiting Venice, since the bus number 2 going into town is just across the street. You can purchase the bus tickets at the reception desk of the hotel. The rooms are sizeable, with a small, but practical bathroom. Overall, the hotel met our needs of an overnight stay, with going for a walk and a dinner to Venice (taking the bus number 2, which runs late, we were told also after midnight, but cannot confirm as we returned around 10-ish). Also, Mestre is much nicer as you get from the first impression, especially from the area around the train station ... The reception is very helpful and kind. They made us feel very welcome.
