The hostel allowed guests to leave their luggage before check-in and after check-out. Also, guests could use the common areas after check-out.There were separate bathrooms for men and women, and they were very clean and well maintained. Free towels, soap and shampoo were provided. The kitchen area is minmal, but functional and spotless. The hostel is family-owned and the staff were friendly. There wasn't a curfew, but it was quiet at night; though that may be a matter of guests at the time. This not a party hostel; no bar, music or activities. The location is a long walk to the major attractions, but there is nearby public transportation and is quite close considering the price. A short walk to the bars and restaurants of the Navigli district.
Ther bunk beds are clean and comfortable, but are the metal frame type that creak and shake when someone moves. The lockers are tall and thin, so luggage or large backpacks won't fit.

The star of this property... is undoubtedly it's amazing co-owner Douglas! He made me feel so welcome and comfortable the minute I walked into his property. When I had to extend my stay for a day, the hotel was booked tight and Douglas offered me a private room at his own house nearby which was simply amazing and so thoughtful. He was quick to respond to my messages and he even dropped me back to the hotel the next day the whole drive sharing with me his anecdotes of the locality and it's features. Absolutely loved my stay here and will certainly return only to meet Douglas and his amazing wife and their charming home.
It was the First time I was staying in a dorm and I hope it will be the last. I'm not a big fan of sharing rooms with 6 other people . The bedroom, though clean and comfortable was a bit tight to lay down luggage for packing especially when the room was occupied. I had to wait for everyone to leave the room in the morning just to enjoy it. Some space for keeping soap/shampoos in the shower would be good. The male dorm has its bathroom outside which in hindsight is actualy a good idea. The subway is a 10 min walk on either side which is not bad. There are a few restaurants nearby and Douglas knows most of the owners there.

It is a chamber, well-located, peaceful hostel with several floors of dormitories and private rooms. The floor I stayed on had only three rooms; dorms weren't fully occupied. There were also two bathrooms (male and female) and a well-equipped kitchenette with everything travelers need. There is enough space in the 6-male dormitory, although the lockers are a bit small (the upside is that if you don't have your padlock, you can borrow one for free at the reception). In the bathroom, located outside the room (clean and tidy!) there is liquid soap, a hairdryer, and a supply of toilet paper. There are stickers in the kitchen to mark your products, as well as for that stuff that is left by guests for other travellers- "free for use". Helpful, smiling, and hospitable staff ready to help: you can print your boarding pass, leave your backpack at the reception after check-out free of charge, or get the information you need, as well as get a map of the district. Good location: close to the M2 metro line; runs the trolleybus route 90/91, which circles the city in a ring. Nearby are Esselunga and Lidl supermarkets. Right next to the famous canals of the Navigli district.
Rainy days in Milan that the hostel had no control over. 😀

The best experience I had during my summer travels. The dorm was comfortable and with a very large bathroom. They cleaned the rooms daily, including changing bedding and towels for long term guests. I felt cared for, and safe. The staff was very helpful, and accommodating with travel tips, how to get to sights, where to eat, etc. The location is near the canals where there is plenty to do and see!
This is not a negative but an FYI for long term travelers, there is a mini fridge in the kitchen. Good for small snacks/food not an entire grocery haul.

The individual approach to the client from the owner Mr. Douglas is something unusual. Even when I checked in quite late he was so welcome that it stunned me. As we shared same passion for a bikes we found common topic for a really interesting chat. After long ride on my bike he placed me to the best room and even he shared his supplies with me what made me totally shocked. And even he gave me some snacks for the next day. In addition all requirements for hostel are fulfilled and even more. Everything is clean and comfortable, internet and so on. Even I wasn't charged for bike storage. And next day Mr. Douglas made personal farewells. If I'll come back to Milan next time I know where I will stay. From deep of my heart I assure you this is the best hostel I ever had. And offer you to try by yourself.

The room was quiet, comfortable with working aircon and fan, it’s located in a quiet side street, is a short walk via a park to the canal, restaurants and bars. I was surprised as to how quiet the ground floor room was. The owner and staff are very helpful and happy to answer all questions as well as provide great tips for local restaurants etc. The single room double bed has a memory foam mattress which enabled a restful sleep. The shower was excellent both hot and cold water and overall very clean. Ample plug points for charging ( with European outlets) included storage area for clothes etc. The room isn’t large ( like many properties) but is more than spacious enough to manage luggage and moving around. It’s around an easy 12 minute walk from the metro station
Nothing really, location as an observation only, not a criticism, the metro station nearby has some external above ground upgrades happening, those with large and heavy suitcases etc may want to consider alternate transport to get to the property (Bus or cab) as there are only stairs to access street level from the main entrance at the time of writing this review.

Good location. I like the kitchen . Everyday I got the new towel. The room is quiet big for 6 people ( Everyone can walk and pass well, even the room was full of luggeges
-Well...it's quite expensive and only one bathroom for 6 people to share it( if I needed to go to the bathroom, I had to wait the person who was taking the shower. And no other toilet for people). - Someone checked in in the midnight and the staff still explained the person the rules in the time. Quiet bother the people who were full of sleeping.

There was actually a reception. And all were friendly and hospitable. Towels, shower gels and lockers were provided (not sure if they charged you to rent their padlocks as I had my own). 7mins or so walk to Romolo metro station (within the 3 zone ticket condition). And 22-25mins walk to the tourist attractions.
Nothing. (Luckily my roommates and bunkmates were early sleepers and not noisy/rowdy at all.)

It is a small hostel nearby a metrostation. The hostel is cosy. I stayed in a private room. The room had a theme: the Da Vinci room. The room is clean. Bathroom is clean. Every day clean towels. The owner is a nice and friendly man. With arrival the man gave some information about the touristic sightseeings in Milano. It was very pleasanr stay. A halve km from the hostel is a nice coffee bar called Lino's coffee. A good place for breakfast.
