Angela was a lovely and accomodating host, she provided restaurant and site-seeing recommendations to explore in Milan (even though she didn’t speak fluent english), she used Google translate instead which was a considerate of her and helped us to communicate easily. The breakfast was delicious, a variety of food options and authentically Italian. The room was clean, spacious and cool plus the bed was very comfortable. There was a lift that allowed us to transport our luggage to and from the property.
A few access codes to get upstairs to the property. However, that wasn’t a big issue.

The breakfast was amazing; including fruit, pastries, yogurt, toast, cold cuts, and an omelette made on request, we mentioned that we liked the salami served at breakfast and the host went out of her way to get us some to take home!, very close to a stop for the Red Metro line (easy access to Duomo and other attractions) well cleaned, hosts provided lots of bottles of complimentary mineral water, the room was cleaned everyday. Basic toiletries were provided too (shampoo and body wash) which was helpful.
Building has a small lift, so it may be a struggle if you have lots of luggage

From the moment we arrived, Angela was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were quickly shown to our room, which was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. Every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and were always available to answer any questions we had. The location of the B&B was also ideal, situated close to public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. We highly recommend this B&B.

Instructions on how to arrive at the B&B were very clear and we had no issues getting there and getting into our room. I travelled with my mother and the room was very clean with a private bathroom as well. We stayed for one night and had everything we needed. It was nice to have a fridge, some waters in the room. There was also a little coffee machine that we didn't use but was nice to have. Breakfast was amazing as well! Angela was a delight and attended or every need- even made us some omelets while we chatted about Milan and other stuff. There was another family also staying there and we met during breakfast but we heard no noise during the evening. Angela was very informative and helpful about creating an itinerary for us and allowed us to store our luggage during the day.
Room was on the smaller side but nothing bothersome. Had no complaints during this stay.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning—a must for Italy in summer. The bathroom is very spacious and features a comfortable shower. The property is conveniently located close to the metro: 80 meters from M1-Pasteur and 400 meters from M2-Loreto. The breakfast was delicious and filling.
The area within which the property is located felt safe, but you have to take the metro to get to the main sights in Milan (3.8km walk to the Duomo, for example). On the positive side, the metro operates very regularly; I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes for a train.

Angela and her lovely Mum Jovana were just exceptional hosts, more than anyone can expect from accommodation. Their hospitality is just beyond anything. The room was great, had a balcony, very quiet and very well equipped. Everything was cleaned very well. The breakfast was just like as if you came to your Grandma's house and she would do absolutely anything for you to have a delicious, varied and amazing meal. They kept asking us if everything was ok, that was because they truly care about their business and guests. I cannot imagine if anyone can complain about anything. The area was great too, very close to everything, including the high street with shops and restaurants, cafes, etc, the nearest metro if you need one is just a minute away. It is also close to the central train station as we were travelling to Venice from Milan. We will look nowhere to have accommodation whenever in Milan. It will be just coming home. Thanks so much for everything. Lots of love. :)
Nothing! Not one thing.

This B&B are operating by own family members. They are very welcoming people to their guests . Angela is very friendly and helpfully. She give us a detailed description of different things to do in the city, where to eat dinner closed to their B&B and where take line train and bus. Every morning they prepare their own variety and delicious breakfast serving from them. We are feeling at home. Bedroom are very spacious either comfort bedclothes. Light wall colors combined with colorful wall picture. They have a balcony view of neighborhood and prevent noise doors and shadow curtains. Include comfortable and decorated bathroom with bidet.
None everything is good.

I very much enjoyed my stay at BNB Antico Cortile. The hostess, Angela, was so gracious, kind, and helpful to me throughout my stay, cooking wonderful custom made breakfasts and providing travel tips for my stay in Milan. The breakfast room and my room were sunny, cheerful and clean. My room wasn't large but I was travelling alone so it was plenty of space. I liked the fact that there was a mini fridge that was always stocked with natural and sparkling water. There were plenty of outlets and lighting sources in the room. The location is in a residential city neighborhood that was out of the touristy areas, which I appreciated. There was a basic grocery store across the street that you could get basic supplies. The bed and pillows were more comfortable that many of the subsequent places I stayed in Italy. It was so close to the metro, travel was really easy. I met some fellow travelers while staying there during breakfast and enjoyed hearing their travel stories. It was an excellent choice for my first few days of my Italian travels.
The only thing that was a little tricky is that there are several security gates/doors that you go through every time to get to the BNB and it is on the fourth floor. There is an elevator that is small but works fine. Other that that, I really didn't have any other concerns.

The breakfast is nice, and the hosts are very friendly, always trying to assist despite not speaking English.
The entrance is inconvenient, and the elevator is very small. Essentially, this B&B is a private apartment with rooms being used as hotel accommodations. While the rooms do have private bathrooms, it still feels more like staying in someone’s home rather than a hotel. It’s positioned as a hotel, but in reality, it’s more akin to an Airbnb than a traditional hotel. Lack of privacy as a result.
