Nice small hotel as on the photo, not far from the central railway station, and there are 2 subway stations near the hotel, so you can easily and quickly get to Milan downtown. Breakfast is good, contains coffee, cheese, croissants, ham, very enough for me. Room was big and recently renovated, there were a table with chair, so you can work there, if you need. Hotel staff was nice.

For me the most uncomfortable was the absence of water dispenser with hot water in the hallway, as there was no kettle in the room, so we can’t have any tea or coffee in the room. And before booking, please, pay attention, that there is no elevator, just stairs to the 2nd floor, and the room windows face the street with tram, which is pretty noisy, but it doesn’t influence my staying.

I liked everything about my stay at this delightful family-run hotel less than 5 minutes from a main underground line, so I was in the city centre within 10-15 minutes from leaving the hotel. My single room was very comfy and snug. The staff were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly, whilst never intrusive. It was excellent value for money. I would happily return and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who wanted, like me, a very pleasant, clean, friendly and affordable hotel which is just 10 minutes from the city centre by underground.

I can honestly say there was nothing I didn't like. If I required or wished anything, I only needed to ask and one of the lovely staff members saw to it at once.

I spent just one night in Serio Hotel. I've appreciated reception and silence during the night. The hotel is practically on the bus stop of line 1, the famous tram which connects to the centre of Milan, and offers a 24hours service at the entrance. I didn't try breakfast or other services

I would consider only the room price, I think overbudget for 2-stars hotel, but given the overall increase in price for accomodation in Milan I can't just say it was the best for quality and price

We really enjoyed our stay! It’s a simple hotel, but it was super clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the main train station and less than 5 min walk from metro. Just a few meters away from a great traditional restaurant, where we had one of the best meals from our trip around italy Staff were super welcoming and helpful. They didn’t speak English, but managed to communicate as they could. Recommended for a just a few nights stay.

The fact that the staff didn’t speak English was not an issue for us, but it’s something that might be a problem for others.

Fair value hotel in an expensive city. The hotel is not in the centre of Milan but has a metro stop close by. However the No 1 Tram runs past the hotel and is a great way to get into and out of the city centre - buy a 24 hour travel card to save money. Area around the hotel appears very local with lots of bars and reasonably priced restaurants with good food and drink offerings. Room was not grand but was fine for what we wanted. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Staff very helpful and informative. Walking distance to Milan Central train station.

On hot nights with the window open to the street it can be a bit noisy with the early morning traffic. I imagine no street rooms will be far quieter.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast is perfect. Room is big enough for 1 person. AC is good. There is a Conad opposite of the Hotel. There are cafes and restaurants near. Tramway is on the street

İt is a little bit far from center by walking 30 min. You can use tramway. And streets are a little bit scary at night for lonely Lady.

the staff were very nice indeed, the breakfast was pretty decent and they filled the pastries with a filling of your choice which was a unique surprise, the room was very nice and very clean and tidy also it was pretty quiet given that i was on the main road, easy to get to the main station as the tram went just outside the hotel 20 yards away. there were stores close by and a few bars dotted about on the main road outside, and it took about 10 minutes to get to the main train station which is an imposing building, like much of the architecture in milan there are some stunning buildings and some unique examples such as the cathedral and surrounding areas. i would stay here again if visiting.

the area was a bit rough with a lot of graffiti on the buildings but sadly this is typical of most italian cities so its not seen as a problem like many cities in europe, but the area in general has its own unique charm and it was very safe at night,

Friendly staff, affordable and clean. It was good for a one night stay on a weekend.

It didn’t bother me, but the walls are thin so can hear loud neighbours and you can hear the traffic from the room on the side of the road. So not advised for light sleepers. But otherwise it was just what we needed for one night stopover in Milan on a weekend near the Milano Central station

I will give it a solid 9 taking into consideration that it's a 1 star hotel, from my point of view this hotel can be easily considered a 2 stars. First of all, the personnel of the hotel is amazing and they are extremely nice people. I loved the fact that everything was clean and there was someone that cleaned our room and changed our towels every day. The location is amazing, I mainly decided to stay at this hotel because of it's location, it is really close to Milano Centrale (5-7 min away) and to a subway station (2 min away), you also can find a big supermarket 10 meters away and right next door there is a very nice place with very good pizza. Even if I took the breakfast by mistake (thank you booking), I am very pleased with the food and the service at the hotel so if you decide to stay here, don't miss it.

It's a 1 star hotel, I didn't really have too many expectations but I will just highlight some important aspects: - the lingerie is cleaned with vinegar or something similar and doesn't have a pleasant smell, the scent is very light but you will definitely smell it if you have a sensible nose. - there is some noise made by the tram and it might be difficult to sleep during the first night - it's a 1 star hotel and it's close to the railway station so you might have some weird neighbors that might like the move the furniture around in your first night (not the hotel fault, I had a similar experience in a 3 stars hotel, it's just that some people are weird)
