Location is great with access to the M5 train line (via both elevator or stairs) directly outside the hotel’s entry. It is only a short train trip out of the city, and is also walking distance to plenty of local shops and cafes. Hotel reception staff were excellent and went above and beyond - including allowing for us to have an extremely early check-in close to 10.30am - which was AMAZING after back to back overnight buses. Staff also helped make sure our room was near the elevators for accessibility. The room was comfortable and as described. There’s not a lot of extra space in the room (as stated in listing!), but this posed no issue to us at all. Overall this was an amazing hotel and we would definitely come stay again if we return to Milan!!

Just be aware the shower is very tiny, which was fine for our single night but may be a bit tricky if staying for longer.

The hotel is high quality, even if a bit "old style". The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is big enough, and the shower warm and strong. The personnel is kind. Breakfast is good for international standards and well organised. The location is also convenient, just in front of the Metro station.

A good espresso at breakfast could have been a touch more. But the only real remark I have is the administration, which is not that efficient (I had to request the receipts three times, even if I asked in writing in advance). And they not very flexible, asking absurd high prices when there is a group staying a week and asking for a small meeting room for 2 hours. By night, the Bicocca area is not the safest (they have to close the gate otherwise thieves come in).

the room was renewed and everything was just new. the Breakfast contains good varieties of and is well prepared.

The Room is a pet small and not well designed. the toilet is separated from the shower. the room service costs you additional charges. I asked the room service to bring me a fork and knife and he said it will cost me 5euro. also in the BF when I asked for a scrambled egg they said it is not INCLUDED in the BF and separate cost is charged.

We were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. The room size was sufficient, the beds were comfortable, and all amenities were provided. Since the hotel is located right in front of the metro station, it’s easy and convenient to reach the city center. The breakfast selection was quite adequate. Having a parking lot at the hotel and a daily rate of €15 in a city like Milan is a significant advantage

It would have been nice to be able to make a reservation for the parking lot in advance

The thermostat in the room cannot be adjusted, it was very hot during our stay, and we had to open the windows while sleeping and it wasnt a good idea considering the air quality in milan is very poor. One of our friends got sick after. Breakfast is kinda boring after the 3rd day because you will get the same food everyday, and lacks of healthy option.

Breakfast had a nice variety and good quality. Staff was constantly available to help with a friendly attitude. I had encounter a little technical problem, one of the bed light was not working, and the issue was addressed promptly. Room was quiet and pleasantly arranged / designed. Additionally, public transportation extremely convenient, subway station in front of the hotel.

The entrance to the hotel was slightly intriguing for me, access through a metallic door or gate which required permission from inside !

Continental breakfast, as expected, but with a very good range of foods on offer.Lovely fresh bread and pastries. Good coffee, (but queues to use the machines at busy times.) Some cooked food was also available, but not required. As a solo female traveller, the staff were very obliging with advice on keeping safe when out and calling taxis when required. It was primarily a theatre visit so the location was perfect. Proximity to the Metro couldn't have been better. A tourist hotel, with all the facilities required: a large clean and comfortable bed and bathroom and a decent breakfast. The staff spoke very good English but were patient with my attempts to use their language.

Queues for coffee in the morning, not their fault, but mainly caused by elderly guests, obviously in a foreign country, holding up several people, whilst they tried to get to grips with the unfamiliar mechanics of the drinks machine. I think a member of staff should either supervise or operate the machine or pour it directly from a pot at the table. This would obviously cut down on choice, but be much less disruptive and lead to a more relaxed breakfast experience.

Traveling a few times each month to Milan from France, our stay with STARHOTELS TOURIST has exceeded our expectations in comparison with most hotels of the same rating. The staff's attention and service are of a high standard and they made sure that our stay would be extra special, answering all of our queries and requests during our 4 nights stay. Additionally, the location of the hotel is prime, being literally in front of BIGNAMI Metro Station, right across the street was also a big game changer for us during our travels in the city.

The room was nice and comfy. The restaurant serves very tasty and delicious milanese dishes.

There was a strike on metro and buses and the hotel did not inform us in the morning before leaving the hotel although we have asked for directions how to get to the city center. During the night we found out about the strike and there was no available taxi to get back to the hotel. We called the hotel to assist us and they just gave us the tel no of taxis to call them even though we told them that we tried to call a taxi but there was no availability due to the strike. We had to walk back to the hotel from the center with two kids (13 years old). Unfortunately the staff working that night was not able to help and when we arrived at the hotel tired at midnight he told us "it was a surprise strike we didn't know". Later we found out that the strike was announced days before.

The bed is very comfortable, but there are twin beds not a large bed. The single bed is large though. The bathroom was well equipped. It was good, that there was an early breakfast. The hotel was close to the metro station, but somehow far from the university for a hotel for events at the university. However, no other was closer.

I have missed tomatoes at breakfast for the available cheese. The prizes for the different nights were different, I was not aware.
