Overall, our experience was super positive and we would definitely stay here again. Pros: - Unbeatable location: being in the historic center of Monopoli makes all the difference for the “vibe of the trip”. The place is really close to all the best restaurants, the port, and churches. The metro station is a 20-minute walk, but access is also easy. - Cleanliness: the apartment, all common areas, and bed linens are clean. - Quietness: this was the most positive point. Unlike some reviews mentioned here, even facing the main street, the apartment is completely silent due to the windows that totally isolate the sound. We slept well every night and did not hear noise from other rooms. - Decoration: the decoration is beautiful, even better than in the photos, which makes our experience much more charming. - Check-in and access to the building/room: access is done with a code on all doors, which greatly increases convenience. - Breakfast: breakfast operates through a voucher system, which entitles you to a coffee, an orange juice, and any other item from the menu at a café located below the B&B. We loved eating there every day and found the options much superior to the typical cornetto with coffee of the Italian breakfast. - Shared terrace: the B&B has a beautiful terrace with a view of the sea and the city. - General: both the main bed and the sofa bed are large and reasonably comfortable. The air conditioning and hairdryer also work well and the room has several available outlets. There is a safe available in the room and coffee and drinkable water in the shared kitchen.

- Shower: there is no holder for the shower hose, which means you have to hold it while showering. It also ends up leaving the bathroom quite wet as there is no shower curtain.

Our stay at Orazio was perfect. In the heart of Monopoli and close to everything. The self-check-in process was easy and our room was very spacious and comfy. The bathroom area was super charming and our favorite part of the room. The breakfast is served at the restaurant located right below the property and it was just the right amount of food to get your day started (and everything was very delicious - highly recommend the pistachio "Nutella" on the cornetto)

Lovely B&B in the centro storico of Monopoli, just one street away from the sea. We had a large room with a huge, comfortable bed. Italian breakfast was provided in the Café next door: great coffee and croissant (with pistacchio cream, nutella or marmelade). We asked the owner to preheat our room since we were traveling with a baby and they kindly did. We parked our car in the nearby streets where it was free. We could always find a free spot (in March)

The room is calmly elegant, with a comfortable bed. It is located above a wonderful pizzeria and bakery cafe, just steps from the sea. I was lucky to have a bath tub. The hosts are super sweet ladies who took great care of me. I was without phone service as I was traveling to the town and needed help with the entrance code. Valeria was so on top of her messages that when I messaged through the booking site, after finding somewhere open on Christmas Eve who let me use their WiFi, she responded immediately with the help I needed. I’m so glad I chose to stay here, in this prettiest of towns. it was nice to have the kitchen for making coffee or tea and keeping leftovers in the fridge. The breakfast downstairs in the cafe was a highlight of the day.

Parking information could be updated for the winter season. There was plenty of free parking in the lot closest to the house at Christmas.

Amazing location and beautiful terrace with the view on the seaside and the castle. Room is very spacious and comfortable with nice design. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the shared zone. Breakfast is served in the bar under the house, nice way to start a day :)

A bit hard to find the parking in Monopoli (house in the limited traffic zone). There were 4 flies in the room at the arrival.

Everything was great— the location, the spacious room and cleanliness were all excellent! Having water from the common kitchen was very nice. Entering by a code was also convenient. We unfortunately did not use the rooftop but it would be wonderful at sunset! The breakfast from the cafe was also great—-friendly staff and a variety of options!! I would definitely recommend it and stay here again! Don’t hesitate to book!

Fabulous stay at Monopoli Valeria was a wonderful host and always there to help Everything you could ask for in an accommodation.

Loved everything just make sure you park around 1km from the town to get a park or pay Valeria if you would like a guaranteed private park 1 km away it’s very busy on the streets close by Just as easy to be 1km away and walk I wouldn’t even think to drive and drop off luggage

Breakfast vouchers are given for the cafe/bar/restaurant downstairs and the breakfast variety was great. Staff are accommodating and checkin was easy. Communication was brilliant and Valeria was extremely helpful with suggestions and promptness to respond. The wifi works well, the common area is spacious and well appointed. Our room was spacious and so close to everything you need in Monopoli. Highly recommend it.

We stayed 3 nights and one of those was a Saturday night - which can be a little noisy as downstairs is a restaurant and square where people gather. The other two nights were very quiet and peaceful.

Really great location in the old town on Monopoli. I'd estimate 30m from the old castle and sea, a 5 minute stroll to Porto Vechia and a 5 minute stroll to lots and lots of restaurants and bars. Quiet at the same time - incredible! Very comfortable, simply and stylishly furnished rooms. Great breakfast at a nearby bar/cafe using coupons and quite generous. The owner, Valeria, lives off-site and entrance is via a keypad-security code. Throughout the stay, all commumnications with Valeria were really good - prompt and useful replies. Would happily return and recommend to friends.

Please note there is a shared kitchen only, shared with 2 or more other rooms, but with no plates or cooking utensils, so self catering is impractical.
