The location was better than we even expected. Excellent walking area to food and shops. Beautiful view of the sea from a gorgeous and impeccably clean room. The stay in Monopoli was also perfect for traveling around Puglia and we visited a town a day from there. The breakfast was fantastic each morning and the service was top tier. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend to everyone we know

We were in the suite, so we had amazing views! We were right in the middle of the old town with a wonderful view of the street below. We could not have asked more from a hotel. Also, the breakfast was amazing! ...and they parked our car for us and then had a golf cart return us to where they parked our car. That is huge in this area where there is no free parking or convenient parking.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. We couldn't find any flaws. We would return just to stay at this hotel.

Wow! This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Just gorgeous. We had a huge room on the ground floor with an outside area that led up to the beautiful pool. The restaurant is lovely and the roof terrace would have been wonderful to spend time in were it not a heatwave when we went! Very relaxed atmosphere in general. We very much enjoyed our day at the recommended beach club with transport there and back. Monopoli a beautiful town (if not a little too polished). Would love to go back for a special occasion one day.

Very tough question and all I can think of is that the restaurant and bar close one day a week and it happened to be the main day we had at the hotel and pool - it was actually fine as they are happy for you to order cocktails from the little hatch across the street and take them to the pool area so I suppose it saved us some money!

Location was amazing - right on the water and in the historical center. The rooms and the public spaces were beautifully designed and breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Francesca, one of the night staff, was instrumental in assisting me getting my cell phone returned after I dropped it in town and the person who picked it up didn't speak English. She called the phone, arranged for it to be returned, and waited outside with us until the person dropped it off. The rooftop deck and restaurant were amazing.

I downgraded a star because the second room I was in (junior), while it was beautiful and had an amazing view right on the water, was underneath the rooftop restaurant and chairs and tables were scraped against the floor (my ceiling) until the early hours of the morning and the restaurant staff also congregated in the courtyard immediately outside my room to bring food up and dishes down. It was *very* noisy. And the breakfast, while delicious, was the same every day. The pool is lovely, but tiny, and families tended to set up shop on the two lounge chairs and leave their belongings there all day.

We stayed in the Immacolta suite, which was huge and luxurious - a short walk away from the hotel's main building, where an excellent breakfast spread is provided each day. There's no view since most of the room is subterranean but it's right in the heart of the centro storico. Other rooms do offer sea views and the rooftop of the main hotel is a fabulous spot. We were late in booking and would have liked to have stayed longer, so make your reservations early!

The weather! Even in the mid-May rain, we had a good time. Hotel staff offered to meet us with umbrellas after giving us directions to a nearby car park since we were arriving too late for the normal parking service they provide.

Monopoli is beautiful and lively. The hotel room was awesome. The staff were wonderful, and the service was great. The included breakfast was very good.

We had a luxury room with a hot tub which was luke warm at best. When you pay up for a fancy room with a hot tub, it would be nice if it was “hot”. This may be an Italy thing though, because we ran into this elsewhere on our vacation in Italy. It seems hot tubs and hot showers are hard to come by.

We stayed in a stunning townhouse in a quiet area, a short walk from the main hotel. It was amazing, with three levels of glorious living - a beautiful living room, a spacious bedroom and a gorgeous rooftop terrace. The main hotel complex had a charming rooftop bar / restaurant and pool area with spectacular views over the sea. Staff were extremely attentive and the transfers provided on arrival and departure were much appreciated. Highly recommended.

location is excellent, very central, the facilities in the hotel are good - it has the worlds tiniest pool but its nice and well designed! a few things were closed as it was off season. the staff were all really lovely and helpful, we kept accidentally getting locked out of our room and they were really curteous, breakfast was delicious and varied, the views from the breakfast room are great if you can get the table by the window! hotel organised a wine tasting with us and a private driver - both were fantastic

Loved the location, 5 minute drive walk to beaches and restaurants. Amazing rooftop views with a restaurant and plenty of seating and sunbeds in a private area for guests. The room smelt amazing, very clean and fresh with comfortable beds and very helpful and attentive staff, who park up your car and handle your luggage. We really enjoyed our stay!

The location! The beautiful well designed rooms and vegetated grounds. A special place with a staff to match. Everyone was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay from the moment we checked in. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies took good care of us. The roof top restaurant overlooking the sea was gorgeous and the food and staff was out of this world. Alessi was our waiter and gave us the royal treatment!

Was a little noisy at night but wouldn’t prevent us from not returning.
