Excellent location on the Prato, easily accessible by car, minutes walk to San Antonio Basilica, 15 minutes to Centro, piazza dei signori. On-site private parking. Room was large with double bed, two generous bedside tables, wardrobe, small desk with chair, the usual TV and WiFi. The bathroom was also large with a window, a sink with decent counter for toiletries, good size single shower, toilet, bidet and towel rail and the door slid into the wall when open. Breakfast room was bright, next to reception with the usual buffet of fresh fruit, yoghurt, some cereals, excellent fresh cakes and pastries. Caffe latte was served as espresso and hot milk in separate jugs! Staff were cheerful, welcoming and always glad to help. This will be our go-to hotel on any future visits to Padova.

A minor issue: the first time we turned into the Prato we missed the turn into the hotel because the hotel was not very visible from the road. We would have appreciated a small sign with an arrow indicating the hotel.

I don't know where to start: everything was really good. the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was large, clean, tidy and fully equipped with all the amenities, great water pressure in the shower, the breakfast buffet had a large variety of items and a lot of options. The staff is helpful, always smiling and really nice. This hotel might be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, even though it certainly did not seem like it when booking. We got to the hotel from the train station by using the tram, which has a stop about 100 meters away from the hotel. I can only hope that the price doesnt skyrocket or the quality plummet after my review. Cant recommend it enough.

Excellent position, very close to Saint Anthony basilica. Our room was clean and very quiet. We parked our car in the hotel yard so we didn’t have to worry about it. Staff was very kind, ready to offer assistance and advices.

Everything was fine. Only small remark goes to a hard mattress in our bed but didn’t affect our stay.

Highly Recommended!!!!! in the mid of the centre. Very very very friendly employees! Room super clean, everything looked like the photos from Booking.com. Anyone who travels as much as I do knows how often the photos do not correspond to the truth on site! Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is free! Parking is secured next to the hotel. Sure, costs extra. But it's completely normal. 10 points and 12 comets

From the time we were greeted at the front desk by Georgia (hope I have spelled her name correctly) until our lovely breakfast the next morning with a very friendly and attentive server, whose name we should have gotten but didn't, everything about our stay was superb. When we booked Hotel al Prato, we were hoping that it would be a good spot for our night in Padua. We can only say that our expectations were exceeded in every respect. Bravo!

Very good breakfast, large room, located in lovely Prato della Valle. Good restaurants nearby (we reccomend Passando per Modena). Best gelato in this trip (Gelateria Portogallo, also nearby). Supermarket on the other side of the Prato.

Not in the city center, but it is a 10 min walk in a mostly pedestrian street. Not an issue for us.

Hotel was immaculate & perfectly located on the beautiful Prato della Valle in the shadow of San Giustina and a short walk to Sant' Antonio, Via Roma, the Duomo and adjacent to one of Padova's best restaurants, Zaire. Tram stop conveniently located across the street. The staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating.

No fridge in the room and the room was a little small.

Three quiet nights in a very comfortable room for resting. Beds and mattress, bathroom and showers, air conditioning, all perfect. All the staff polite and efficient gave a very good feeling to the stay.

I didn't expect any extras. Maybe a kettle or a small frigidaire could be a good addition for some, or a more rich breakfast for others. For us, it was a great value as a base for our trip.

Spotlessly clean with really very friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant location with a pleasant walk into the centre of town along some lovely streets with some lovely shops. Hotel is perfectly adequate as a base for exploring the whole area. Large rooms with comfy beds with fabulous air-con. Large well appointed bathroom. Perfectly adequate breakfast to set you up for the day with fresh cereals, pastries, and fruit. Coffee on tap as you'd expect. Rooms were cleaned daily and we very much enjoyed our stay and will return.

Padua was a positive surprise for us. Certainly the hotel was a factor too. Sometimes to simply have a nice room, a friendly receptionist, a parking spot in the shade, a modest but very tasty and satisfying breakfast (nice: plenty of thoughtful gluten-free alternatives), at a reasonable price ... what more can one ask for? Oh: the Satursday market is right in front of the hotel too, a bonus. Would happily return.
