Close to the train station and easy to find. A nice reception area. The room included a small kitchen, which was a surprise. Lovely high ceiling with timber beams gave a sense of space to the room. Walk to downtown and historical sites is about 20 minutes. Staff pleasant and generally helpful.

There was no lift so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs.

Spacious, clean room with a balcony, just across the train station. City center is 10-15 minutes walk, easily reachable. To us the neighborhood was not scary as some people claim here. Sure, there are girls doing "business" on the streets at night but nothing dangerous at all. Staff is super kind, our flight was delayed and we arrived quite late, but they were super flexible with the check-in time. Also let us leave our luggage there after checking out.

There was no included breakfast; we provided our own by going to the grocery store and having a communal breakfast in the smoking area. None of us smoked, by the way. The staff were wonderful, and the place was spotless. Needs some maintenance, especially the fixtures around the shower, etc.

Very very loud out on the streets at night; garbage collection was like dismantling a huge machine and compressing it out our window at midnight. There was no creamer or cream provided. The salt was mislabeled sugar - quite a surprise in the coffee!

It was air conditioned and very clean. The decoration was inviting and very cosy. The rooms were very well organised and cleaned, the facilities were perfect in making it a cosy and functional space. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and very welcoming and the location is perfect if you are planning to go to Palermo airport. Right next to the train station and close access to shops and restaurants.

The balcony view was blocked my a tree and there is not much of a view. But it was so hot outside I did not really care to stand outside when the AC made the room so nice and cool.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. We had a large bright room. The hotel was not too far away to walk to the historic quarter & was very convenient for the airport shuttle.

It was far enough away (under 2 miles) from the ferry terminal for the taxi to cost €22 but this is more the fault of the robbing taxi drivers. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom (which we assume was just an oversight) but it was too late at night to report it when discovered) but there was some kitchen paper available :) There was no view from the window, just foliage but that probably helped keep the noise of the road down which would have been the view.

Great location with reasonable rates if you need a quiet place close to the main train and bus terminal for a quick getaway in the morning to the airport. Tip: Do not let the drab decor and linoleum floors of the modest trattoria next door deter you from eating there-people posted rave revues about that little place online. A great way to end a great vacation.

It was the hardest mattress we encountered during our stay. Not sure if the unit had a hair dryer. While the lack of an elevator wasn’t an issue for us, this is not a place for people traveling with large, heavy luggage.

This hotel was a special gem. It is no frills but the whole team makes you feel like family. Guenda welcomed us with a warm smile and was so helpful in providing restaurant and market recommendations and they were top notch for foodies like us! She also arranged for a Vespa rental so we could easily get around the coastline. The other ladies were always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Thank you to the whole team!

Very close to the train station. The young women at the reception were very kind and helpful. One of them recommended us to go to MonReale (about 20 km from Palermo) to see the cathedral. So we did the next day, and it was the highlight of our one-week stay in Sicily. Thank you for the very good advice :-).

We recommend to put up a bigger sign with the name of the hotel outside the property, - so it would be easier to find it.

The accomodation is very well located, right opposite the central train station, WiFi is without fail, the few staff met are very friendly.

The main issue is that they do not serve breakfast, but send you to a café. If this is open, which is not guaranteed in August, one might get an ok breakfast. Fortunately the room includes a type of Nespresso machine and a tiny kitchen including a fridge. It is therefore possible to do your own breakfast. That is what I did.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Giulio Cesare 14, it is very close to the central station and therefore very easy to reach from the airport. Despite being centrally located, it is quiet or you can ask for a quite room, as I did. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, always with a smile on their face. It is clean. My room had a small kitchen and I could cook some simple meals. The bed is comfortable although a tad on the hard side. The bathroom was clean and fairly spacious. Overall, this is definitely a good place to stay if you visit Palermo. Of course this is not a hotel, so you cannot expect the level of service you would have in a hotel, but I would definitely recommend it.

My room could not be completely dark because it only had curtains but no shutters. Not a big problem but some people want to sleep in complete darkness. Even if my room was quite, you may occasionally hear some noise from the outside, but this is inevitable given the very central location.
