Close to the train station and easy to find. A nice reception area. The room included a small kitchen, which was a surprise. Lovely high ceiling with timber beams gave a sense of space to the room. Walk to downtown and historical sites is about 20 minutes. Staff pleasant and generally helpful.

There was no lift so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs.

Spacious, clean room with a balcony, just across the train station. City center is 10-15 minutes walk, easily reachable. To us the neighborhood was not scary as some people claim here. Sure, there are girls doing "business" on the streets at night but nothing dangerous at all. Staff is super kind, our flight was delayed and we arrived quite late, but they were super flexible with the check-in time. Also let us leave our luggage there after checking out.

It was air conditioned and very clean. The decoration was inviting and very cosy. The rooms were very well organised and cleaned, the facilities were perfect in making it a cosy and functional space. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and very welcoming and the location is perfect if you are planning to go to Palermo airport. Right next to the train station and close access to shops and restaurants.

The balcony view was blocked my a tree and there is not much of a view. But it was so hot outside I did not really care to stand outside when the AC made the room so nice and cool.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. We had a large bright room. The hotel was not too far away to walk to the historic quarter & was very convenient for the airport shuttle.

It was far enough away (under 2 miles) from the ferry terminal for the taxi to cost €22 but this is more the fault of the robbing taxi drivers. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom (which we assume was just an oversight) but it was too late at night to report it when discovered) but there was some kitchen paper available :) There was no view from the window, just foliage but that probably helped keep the noise of the road down which would have been the view.

Great location with reasonable rates if you need a quiet place close to the main train and bus terminal for a quick getaway in the morning to the airport. Tip: Do not let the drab decor and linoleum floors of the modest trattoria next door deter you from eating there-people posted rave revues about that little place online. A great way to end a great vacation.

It was the hardest mattress we encountered during our stay. Not sure if the unit had a hair dryer. While the lack of an elevator wasn’t an issue for us, this is not a place for people traveling with large, heavy luggage.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Giulio Cesare 14, it is very close to the central station and therefore very easy to reach from the airport. Despite being centrally located, it is quiet or you can ask for a quite room, as I did. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, always with a smile on their face. It is clean. My room had a small kitchen and I could cook some simple meals. The bed is comfortable although a tad on the hard side. The bathroom was clean and fairly spacious. Overall, this is definitely a good place to stay if you visit Palermo. Of course this is not a hotel, so you cannot expect the level of service you would have in a hotel, but I would definitely recommend it.

My room could not be completely dark because it only had curtains but no shutters. Not a big problem but some people want to sleep in complete darkness. Even if my room was quite, you may occasionally hear some noise from the outside, but this is inevitable given the very central location.

The accomodation is very well located, right opposite the central train station, WiFi is without fail, the few staff met are very friendly.

The main issue is that they do not serve breakfast, but send you to a café. If this is open, which is not guaranteed in August, one might get an ok breakfast. Fortunately the room includes a type of Nespresso machine and a tiny kitchen including a fridge. It is therefore possible to do your own breakfast. That is what I did.

Right next to the main train and bus stations, with lots of local buses in the square, whilst being on the edge of the historic centre of the city. This really is a great location if you are using public transport, with reception staffed till mid eveing and luggage storage available. The room was a good size with a simple kitchenette unit and there is a Lidl supermarket a few minutes away. The reception, coridors, and lounge etc were reminiscent of a mid-to-upper market apartement block. Room clean and tidy. The RosaNero cafe about 10 minutes away is very good, right out of hotel, right onto Via A. Lincoln, on the left opposite botanic gardens (about a block back from the sea front).

Excellent location. So many bars and restaurants nearby. Staff very helpful.

Bus outside late at night with engine running. We were sat on our balcony, so the noise was really annoying, but also so bad for the environment - he must have had the engine running for at least an hour, with no one on board (I went down to speak to him, and he was resting alone on the bus and just using the engine for air con)

Very clean, lovely big rooms with some thoughtful touches like a suitcase stand. The staff were also very helpful, providing us with some extras like a bottle opener and very swiftly bringing a hairdryer. The location was also excellent, dead opposite the train and bus station which was perfect for us.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Some people have commented on the “business” happening in the evenings but it is not close to the hotel entrance and there was no trouble. In fact I only noticed because of the previous reviews. I have been to many a large train station in my time and they usually have something like this going on so just mind your own business and walk on!
