The receptionist was incredibly friendly, and I regret not catching his name. He was fantastic at providing recommendations on where to go and what to do. We were especially grateful that they took our suitcases up the stairs, which was a thoughtful gesture given how tired we were. Breakfast was decent, with enough variety to satisfy, and the location was convenient, making it easy to reach many tourist attractions quickly. Also when we were leaving they helped us with again bringing down the suitcase and booking a taxi. Very helpful and it was a good stay

Nothing to dislike, we were just there for one night and it was good accommodation for the purpose.

Wonderful central location

All the staff were kind, helpful and cheerful, that’s so important when you’re a visitor. We loved the view from the terrace, it’s a delightful space to start the day. It was great to have a kettle in the bedroom, that’s not common in Sicily. The bed was really comfortable. The B&B is just 2 minutes’ walk from the city centre and 10 mins from central rail station. Some reviewers mention the steps. Our 3rd floor room had 73 steps with a further 18 steps to the terrace so this was a good opportunity to stay fit, it didn’t bother us. We loved living in the centre of Palermo and having 2 balconies for our room and use of the beautiful terrace on the roof

Our welcome at reception was fantastic, so helpful and informative. The location is just excellent so central and yet very quiet. Breakfast was simple fresh and lovely and eating on the roof terrace was a brilliant start to the day

Don’t be worried by the strange entrance to the hotel- it is not indicative at all of what you will find. However there are a lot of steps up to the hotel and then up to the breakfast terrace so be aware if you are not keen on steps. But it really is worth it.

The location was great in a pedestrianised area just around the corner from a buzzy street and yet it couldn't have been quieter for a great night's sleep. The staff were extra helpful re what to see and how to get there. The room was simple yet very stylish with lovely shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was fabulous with views all around where we had breakfast and could use throughout the day. Perfect.

Just one small thing though I hesitate to point it out since everything else was just so good - on the last day we had a towel with a rip in it. Would most certainly recommend staying here.

Wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff, especially Vito on reception. On arrival, Vito explained Palermo, places to visit, restaurants and local information and continued to help during our stay. Cleaning was impeccable and breakfast team just very pleasant to deal with. Fantastic rooftop terrace for breakfast. Very quiet considering the hotel is in the historic centre.

Seating for breakfast was very uncomfortable (metal seats), cushions could be provided maybe? Lack of sufficient storage space for clothes in bedroom. The flights of stairs to our 3rd floor room - 72 steps from ground floor level. Hotel would be very unsuitable for guests with mobility issues.

The accommodation was great. It was close to everything. It was extremely clean. Very polite and helpful hospitality from the hosts. The bed was very-very comfortable. The room was perfectly quiet, but the staff was so attentive that they prepared earplugs for us, so that if by chance someone was partying in the area, we could still relax. Fortunately, we didn't need it. The staff is great!

The bathroom was very clean. We only spent two nights there, but they cleaned the room nicely even during that time. However, the shower wall is a bit moldy. It can be seen that they are trying to eliminate it, but with moderate success.

Good location close to everything. The mattress was good Emiliano and his team was very helpful and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return again. Thanks to the team at La Terrazza sul Centro.

Could not leave AC on when you leave the room because the master key card needed to keep power to the unit was attached to your room keys. A second pillow each would have been appreciated. I was a bit surprised that cleaning service entered the room once despite the fact that “no service needed” was hung on door.

Room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable, breakfast plentiful with lovely coffee. The location is also spot on for all to explore all of the best bits of Palermo — so central to all historic sights and restaurants/bars, 10 min walk from the train/bus station, yet so quiet too. The terrace is absolutely beautiful and is accessible in the evening too to take your own drink up there (highly recommend doing this!). We instantly felt welcomed by the staff who gave us in depth recommendations about the area and how best to make the most of our short stay!

Truly nothing.

Good location just off central pedestrian (sort of) street and nice big room with air conditioning. Lovely breakfast and all staff were great, especially man in reception and ladies in the breakfast room . Breakfast was nice on the terrace. Quite basic overall but comfortable and quiet.

No free water in the room, no coffee (just four tea bags for two people), and shower didn’t hold the temperature and was quite pokey. Tiny amount of shower gel - details just seemed a bit tight. It was 36 degrees so a welcome drink or bottle of water would have been nice.
