The place was amazing considering how clean it is and how well equipped and organized. It's just about 10 minutes walk from the main train station of Palermo. The host was generous enough to present us the place with some hints about places to visit, offering us as well free breakfast and an umbrella in case we're going to the beach which is about 40-50 minutes away (Mondello beach). Maqueda street is about 4 minutes walk which is full of restaurants and amazing atmosphere. People are so friendly even if they don't speak English, they will still try their best to help. Can't get enough of the food at this lovely location. Definitely coming back to this place when we will visit Palermo again. Very highly recommended. You won't regret it.

Amazing value for money. Location was very good, as was the man running it (the Ferro di Cavallo restaurant recommendation was amazing)! We had the room upstairs, which was nice and cosy with the bathroom, all great - would definitely stay here again. Really secure; although hard to find - make sure to call the host just as you arrive at the address! Also the package of foods that we had for our stay was greatly appreciated!

We didn't make use of the shared kitchen, because we didn't want to disturb any of the other people whose rooms were closer to it; we just made coffees in the morning and used the fridge, so maybe this was more to do with our worries than anything wrong with the set-up.

hidden little gem in a quiet traditional italian street in the old town just off via roma,all the sights were easy to find, apartment is quirky,clean, bed comfortable, great shower, theres a shared kitchen with every pot and pan you could want, also a shared lounge couldnt fault it also gianfranco was a fabulous host very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, he also speaks ok english which is a godsend

Great location, close to everything, but still quiet. Gianfranco is a great host who was really helpful and accommodating! We liked our room and would definitely come back again.

Unfortunately, there was no AC in the kitchen and it was really hot in there.

Room was prepared well, facilities are good. Location is not centre but it is OK. We recommend this room. We stayed 3 nights , everything was good.

It is in the city center. The host was great. Looks the same as in the pictures.

Thin walls so you can hear everything from other rooms. AC which is automatically turning off after some time is annoying during the night.

Convenient to public transport and major sites in Palermo; very clean and updated room with comfortable bed; helpful host; good internet; use of kitchen facilities.

There was no clear sign indicating property, so called host and he was immediately there to greet us. if you’re a light sleeper, you may notice some noise from adjacent units.

The owner of the property was very helpful. He let us check in early and on the day we were leaving let us leave our bags in the lounge. He was always easily reached in Whatsup and spoke good English.

The walls are extremely thin. We stayed upstairs and could hear everything that was going on in the room below ours.

Already told to the Host to fix air conditioning timer. It is turned off each hour. Need to ask host if fixed. Rules for sharing kitchen not so good because of excessive noise from other parties.

Great host! Very helpfully. Without any problems host helps us with parking ticket for our car. Room was clean and in good condition. Very nice in the center of Palermo. Around 5 minutes by walk to the center. Kitchen was also well equipped. Bed was comfortable.
