The most important part about the property was the staff… Marianna was wonderful and made our stay fantastic. The location was perfect for the center of a Large City.

There were some issues with the hot water and showers…   door locks could be a little more secure, but still felt safe .  More tourist information about the local area would be very helpful if displayed in the meeting area. 

Liked the room, but was very simple. In good area, best location to the city, in the middle of restaurants busy life :) 20min walk to sea coast at city or 20min walk to train station. Air condition was not too strong,but working ok. Nice staff, Guseppe was great host and the breakfast was lovely ;)

There was no floor cleaning, mop or sweep the floor..probably all week. Every day a lady made up our room or skip it if we told so, but forgot to do floor washing. It said noise cancellation, but it was very noisy street however when it was quiet times it was great, but we could hear everything from next rooms too.

Once we figured out how to enter (we needed to request from Giuseppe), we were completely satisfied. It was roomy and comfortable and right in the heart of Palermo. Teatro was right down the street and the archeological museum around the corner, not to mention the Museum di Pupi. We moved from a different hotel (from the beginning of our trip - the Hotel Vecchio Borgo. Avoid that hotel at all cost. There are Friday and Saturday night parties that are super lourd and last well into the wee hours of the morning. You will not sleep. thank you Sicilian Rooms for rescuing us!

Nothing to not like

Great location. Easy to find and clear instructions from host about how to access the room. Very clean and good size room. Comfy bed. Historical areas all within easy walking access. Parking nearby. Lovely bathroom with super shower. Breakfast in breakfast room (open air). Good spread of pastries, some savoury options, yoghurts and fruit.

Some noise from bar underneath room, but didn’t disturb our sleep.

Location is perfect for enjoying walking to all historical tours! Charming restaurants right out the door and Massimo Theater 2 blocks away. Breakfast pastries, yogurts, fresh fruits, and Capucino, were all wonderfully prepared and delicious! So very pleased we selected Sicilian Rooms Palermo!

Our shower in Room 2 created a full bathroom floor of water until we realized we needed to hold onto the sprayer all the time. A better shower curtain would solve the problem. Fortunately, we had enough towels to mop up the water.

The location is in the middle of busy tourist areas, lots of restaurants and easy public transportation

It was noisy at night but being central city it was expected, just bring your earplugs

Situated logistically well: on the lovely pedestrian street with many restaurants and even Puppet Theather. We like walking, so we could reach everything we need on foot, from Catacombs (40 minutes walking, beware of hot weather!) to Antique Market (20 minutes) and Port of Palermo (15 minutes). Otherwise there are 2 bus lines running nearby, just 5 min walk from the hotel to the stop. Room was spacious with high ceiling and featured 2 bottles of free water in the fridge that was unexpected but very nice. We did not try full breakfast because we left at 6am, but owner handled over to us small pack with yogurt and some bread. Big thanks for that, man! WiFi and air conditioning were working as expected.

There was a lot of noice on the street around 6am when cleaning and re-stocking happens — was not an issue for us, but if you travel with kids or want to sleep longer this might be an issue. Take care!

the room is very spaceous and beautiful. it is bright and the bed was very comfy. great location for exploring the city on foot!

it is situated in the pedestrian zone, which is great for exploring, but we were there on saturday evening and it is a noisy alley with restaurants&bars. if you have a light sleep, take earplugs with you:)

The location was great, on a walking distance from the city centre

The BF was not working for me unless you prefer extra sugary things in the morning (no ham, cheese, butter, fresh bread, no egs, no fruits or vegetables...). Location was above a night club and super noisy (however no fault of the owner). Perhaps the investment in better windows and doors could have helped...

It is really nicely renovated historic building, location is great, cannot be better. Owner Giuseppe is a really kind person. Room has a high ceiling, and the air conditioner was strong, towels, bathroom and linens very clean.

Our room was right next to the breakfast room and there was a bit noise, but this wasn’t the hotels fault, please remember there are people while you eat in the next room then all will be fine.
