Room was good but with a small/compact bathroom/shower but for two nights perfectly adequate. Breakfast was typical Italian continental: - cereal, breads and 4 different types of croissants (all but one not being sweet), fruit, cold meats and cheese, various sweet cakes etc, fruit juice, coffee, tea and milk. The hotel also has its own restaurant for dinner with a comprehensive menu including Antipasto, Premo, Secondo and Contorni, desert and coffee etc plus the obligatory local wine menu.

The Hotel location although advertised as only 1.5Km from the historic town centre - is not straight forward to find unless you are driving and have a good SatNav or arrive by train and get a taxi from the station which can be expensive. The other options are taking a bus and then walking which if you are not travelling light it can be awkward/cumbersome or taking the mini-metro to the historic town centre and then walking. The Hotel offers a regular shuttle service in the morning to the nearest bus stop as it is situated near the bottom of a hill but not to the historic town centre

The breakfast was fine. Selection of pastries. One type of cheese and ham. Fruit juices not great. Small selection of cereals. Coffee from machine mot great but staff made guests a proper coffee if they requested

Shower unit in bedroom is tiny. Bathrooms in hotel were ok but could do with new showers.

Quiet (thanks to our neighbours next door) Breakfast was ok. The lady was attentive, the moment she saw me taking an orange ,she passed me a knife immediately ;-) Emanuele at reception gave good writing instructions how to get to hotel by foot (we came by train & bus & walk ;-).

To go to centre by foot around 15 mins - some good energy needed to walk up & down the hill but ok if one is fit or not tired or enjoys walking :-) Hotel seems a bit tired, it had its good days. Anyway it didnt bother us, just sleep & go.

The space of the room is very good, just like the airco is very good. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, this was for me the main thing I remember from this hotel.

I stayed here during the Umbria Jazz Festival which might resulted in a bit off price and quality ratio. When comparing the rooms with other hotels it might be a bit overpriced. The shower is a bit small and with some alternative showerscreen it can be made more spacious.

Very convenient location for our requirements and a great hotel to access the Old City. Free parking on site and a very comfortable room. The staff were extremely helpful especially Emanuele and Roberto. If we come back to Perugia we will definitely stay at the Ilgo Hotel.

Everything, it was clean, the view and the sounds of birds in the morning were amazing. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, I liked the croissants a lot and the stuff helped me with maps and informations, they were really nice. Great experience!

staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was just what we needed and as described. the hotel has free car parking outside of ZTL which was important and is walking distance from perugia, so had a nice stroll into Perugia and it’s location is perfect.

The hotel is situated beautifully on a hilltop surrounded by fragrant trees. It has balconies with amazing views of the surrounding landscape. The old town of Perugia is a short walk away. The staff are competent and super friendly. They went the extra mile to accommodate any and all requests, even the most German ones.

the personel were perfect! each one of them was really pleasant kind helpful and smiling in their duties.At the reception at the breakfast at the restaurant at the bar,(Emmanuele and the others whom i cannot remember their names) people did what they had to do with proffesionalism! the free parking the small garden area with italian music in front of the hotel the location next to the wood which was quiet the ample room with terrific balcony view the cleanliness! the decoration of the hotel ... the photo exhibition in each room!! they kept all!! the rools against covid! nice mattresses and pillows the cosy restaurant with local products and original menu we arrived late but they offered us sandwiches although the cuisine was closed! I would go again it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

nothing to say! we have read some comments about the location meaning the distance from old city. it is only 15min walking following a city paved road.nothing difficult as taking up some stairs next to the hotel it's a shortcut. so if one can walk there is no problem at all! some noise from the next room

Although it was a little further out of town than we thought it was very friendly and taxi fare were reasonable. Very quiet. Staff exceptional. Especially late night staff. As we were there for the Jazz fest. We were late. Very amenable and friendly nothing too much trouble.
