The room is in big private house on a hill overlooking Piazza Armerina. It is easy to reach the house from the main road and also to get to the center of the town. Magnificent view of the town. Great breakfast in a the large dining room with fine old furniture and a big table with a lot of food. Large windows to the view of the town and large balcony. Guests eat together in a familiar atmosphere. Luciano is a very friendly host . Parking is in the garden of the house or just near the gate - safe place. I recommend this place.

We loved the perfect location of Casa Sulla Collina d'Oro, facing a stunning view of Piazza Armerina. Food that was served in a beautiful autentic room was excellent. The owner and his daughter were most attentive , generous and kind .The house is spotless. We reccomend staying here , and surely will stay again if we return

Excellent comfortable villa in the garden with a nice host. A beautiful view of the old town, which can be reached with a relatively long ~30 min walk or a short car travel. For us it was not a disadvantage because only this distance enabled a mentioned magnificent view, both during the day and during the night. Free parking place within the property.

La Casa Sulla Collina d’Oro is a little rustic and may not be for everyone. But it was perfect for us. Luciano was a wonderful host - charming, attentive and very helpful. The view over the town of Piazza Armerina was lovely. Breakfast included a wide selection and was served around large tables with a beautiful view. The accommodation was well located, close to town and just a short drive to Villa Casale. I can highly recommend.

Breakfast was amazing, plentiful, delicious and the food kept coming . Our host was lovely, made most of the food himself and much came from his garden. He was generous in allowing us to store luggage when we visited nearby Villa Romano del Casale

The owner, Luciano and her daughter Paula showed us the perfect “warm Sicilian” welcome. Having lived in Sicily for almost 7 years now, we can pretty much assessed what is normal and what is a spectacular and what we experience was the latter. The view didn’t disappoint, the food and wine were awesome and the customer service was top notch!

Luciano,tbe host is a gem, location is prefect. We had a wonderful night. The bed and breakfast is an older stone house which has its disadvantages, however if you like ancient roman feeling like we do, it is also an added value. I can only recommend

The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety and more than I expected. There was also water and fruit available at all times and the host was very welcoming and hospitable. The view of Piazza Armerina was beautiful. The property itself is quite lovely.

When we arrived, the room we had reserved was not ready and we were proposed another room, with private entrance on the side of the house. This room had several problems: A/C not working, heating not controllable, only one small window and little light. When the owner came home, she changed us to another room that was really nice and spacious and had a nice view over the city. She was very friendly and breakfast was very nice. So for the room we ended up staying in, I give 9 and for the one we received first I give 5. So I give 9 but make sure you get the right room :) You can park on the premises.

the rooms and breakfast areas were so clean and bright! The staff was friendly and attentive. Luciano always made sure our needs were taken care of and he made our trip very memorable.
