Laura met us outside the apartment. Check in was easy and we had the first floor room. The stairs are steep, but wide and straight up, so not a problem carrying suitcases. The room was lovely and big, with a big, comfortable bed and pillows. There was a desk and hanging space and a fridge. The bathroom was a good size and a lovely shower with lots of hot water. Everything was lovely and clean. There is paid parking close by. The cafes and restaurants are close by and it is a nice, safe area and very quiet. Close to all the tourist sites as well. Great breakfast, very fresh and there were savory and sweet options.

We loved everything about our stay here hence this will be a long review ! Gregorio and Laura were great at communicating with us even before we arrived. Check in was easy, we organised a time with them so we could drive our car to the door to drop our luggage off and then go and park in the free car park nearby. Laura’s daughter speaks very good English and she welcomed us (along with Laura) with lots of information about what to see and do. The room is lovely , up 2 flights of stairs but they will help you if needed. It was a great size with a balcony which looked out onto the Cathedral. The bed was comfy and the room was so quiet (thanks to the double glazed door) that you couldn’t hear any noise from the street at night. Such a great location , a short walk to the local square where we tasted amazing local wine and cheese at the Enoteca Prodotti Tipici bar (lovely owner) and then went to Trattoria del Goloso for dinner as recommended by Laura which was fabulous. Don’t miss the incredible Villa Romano a short drive away - one of the more enjoyable things we’ve seen on our trip so far! If you have time buy a full ticket and see the ruins and museums as well (valid for 3 days). So interesting - you learn so much about the villa and the ruins and the town’s history. I would recommend at least 2 nights here , so much to see. We are only sorry we could stay longer ! Don’t hesitate just book! Oh nearly forgot - we could use the kitchen anytime to make tea (a must for me!) and breakfast was delicious!

Absolutely nothing!

Very friendly, welcoming, helpful and interested host. He will give you all advice you need in Piazza Armerina. The apartment is comfortable and pleasant. If you want you will get a delicious, salty sicilian sandwich for breakfast, just ask for it. The location is excellent and central. You will find shuttle buses to Villa Casale nearby within walking distance. Delightful stay!

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, by far my favorite of our travels: Cappuccino and the best croissant I've ever had! The host is friendly and helpful, carrying our luggage up the stairs and lending us an umbrella to park our car (just two blocks away in a free lot). The old skis and bicycle on the room walls were nice touches, among others.

The weather (but of course not his fault ;-)!

Everything was just perfect! The location is in the middle of historic centre of a lovely town. Our hosts were super nice and very helplful. They recommended some good restaurants and things to do. The breakfast was excellent - the best we had on out trip. The room is nicely decorated, super clean, and the bed was really comfortable. We highly recommend you to stay at this place, since it was the best B&B experiance we had in the whole Sicily. We would love to visit again.

pretty Beb located on a a small and quiet street. Warm welcoming by the owner, a kind lady always ready to give you any advice and illustrate the traditions of the old town. Modern and comfortable room nicely furneshed wit a red bike and old skis on the wall. Functional bathroom. Excellent breakfast with typical cheeses and sandwich ( the so called "pani cunzatu") and homemade cake.

Principe Giardinelli is a small B&B (2 or 3 rooms?) in a fully modernised old building. On the ground floor, you'll find the entrance and a small but pretty breakfast room/kitchen with three or four tables. A steep stairs lead you to a second even longer flight of stairs to the first room (where we stayed). The room was absolutely gorgeous, tastefully decorated, very spacious (for a B&B within its price range in Sicily) with an incredibly roomy bathroom with all you need in it. Good shower. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed two nights and had twice a breakfast at Principe Giardinelli. The first morning, we had a nice chat with the host (sorry but I don't remember his name) during breakfast. He is a tourist guide and could be a nice choice if you need one. The breakfast items were incredible: yoghurt, croissant, bread, cheese, a choice of egg, fruit and last and foremost the miscate, or another name for it (bread filled with olive oil, spices, tomato...). The second morning, we were served an incredibly tasty brioche con lemon granita made by the lady of the house. She was our breakfast companion that day. She couldn't neither speak nor understand English but we could communicate with her anyway. One of the best breakfasts we had in our 4 weeks in Sicily.

I can't find anything.

Attentive staff, great communication, central location, comfortable bed, and great family-run facility overall. They even hooked us up with an amazing guide to go visit the nearby Villa Romana del Casale.
