A pleasant upstairs room with fridge, microwave, etc, and a nice ensuite. There was a helpful file with instructions and advice in several languages. Complimentary breakfast was available at a nearby bar with friendly owners. Location was very central, and Pistoia (on the rail branchline between Florence and Pisa, and near Lucca) is well worth a visit. I had trouble getting in initially, as I didn't have WiFi once I'd left the train, so I didn't get the owner's message with access instructions. But with the help of neighbours and the owner's sister, who lives in the block, I got in.

Everything was very good, although it would have been helpful if Booking.com could have mentioned that I needed to be online on the day - I could have bought some roaming data or texts

We had to wait in the cold with our kids for almost an hour before the doors were opened and we were checked in. We ringed the door bells for almost one hour and nobody answered, we started ringing bells of other residents until we got a woman that helped us call the owner of the hotel. It was a terrible experience. Also there's mosquitoes in the room 😒 Also we couldn't get car park as we were told, they lied about having a kitchen and please it's just a hotel room and NOT an apartment as we were made to understand.

The bnb has an absolutely great location, just a few minutes on foot from the main square and the cathedral. The breakfast is in a lovely bar round the corner. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The self check-in was available, so it is no problem if you need to arrive late. I would definitely come back.

All was perfect, although it was a bit strange that I never met the owner. He communicated well via whatsapp, though.

Very good location, right next to night life of Pistoia (which didn't seem to be clubbing, but rather people having fun on the street). It's also 10 minutes walk from the train station, which is not too bad.

Might not be the most calm area to relax at night. The mattress was not very comfortable, but did the job ok :)

Nice experience. It was a pity that no one was there to receive you, but in general, it was pretty good. Has a mini bar, microwave, and all little stuff that are extra points. Very clean and the windows are great, when they are closed barely can't hear anything from the outside

Nice place in a great location

On Saturday morning there was the local market so it was a little bit noisy ( personally i do not care as i am an early bird but it maybe affect someone that like sleeping more in the morning )

Good location in centre of Pistoia for our first overnight stop in Tuscany, not too far to travel from Pisa airport. Very pleasant small town with nice restaurants. Breakfast was included which was taken at a small café just up the road. Our host Renzo was very pleasant, met us at the accommodation after I'd phoned him, and explained about parking, etc... checking in was very straightforward.

The place was very clean and in a very central position. The cleaner comes in every day and makes the bed too. Works like an hotel basically. There is breakfast for free at the pub nearby.

Location is perfect. Great communication with owner. Clear instructions. Breakfast included in price.

Tea and coffee sachets were provided but no proper cups. Pillows are aged and need to be updated.

Breakfast at San Giovanni, one of the best in Pistoia. Very clean room + perfect position (central so please don't complain about the evening chatting in the street.. it is normal and the windows were new and good in covering the noises)
