I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this hotel was. I want to give a special thanks to Magda, she coordinated for us to help us solve an issue that came up with so much kindness, compassion, and helped me feel so much better and in good hands. I absolutely loved this place. The view from the room was an absolute dream, and the location was so incredible for us because we did not want to be in a loud area but wanted to be close to main Positano. It was a 20 min walk to the main beach, but this place was so amazing you almost didn’t even want to leave. The food at the restaurant was top-notch, and the wine selection, amazing. As another plus we are a gay couple and felt absolutely safe and at no point “othered” by staff, which does happen in other parts of Italy. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough. I just wished I stayed there longer.

Located right off the beach, in a slightly quieter part of Positano, this hotel was a dream! There is a quick path that takes you from the hotel to the port, make sure to call ahead and let them know you need a porter before arriving. There is also a path on the side of the hotel that leads you up into the center of town, away from the crowds. Beach access is right in front of the lobby, and there are beach chairs for rent. Also cannot understate how lovely it is to be away from the spring-breaker crowds on the main beach. The rooms are clean and well furnished, the shower is large and the water pressure is great. The balcony and the views are the real winners. You open the doors to a view of the ocean and fall asleep every night to the sounds of the waves. The restaurant's breakfast buffet was excellent, the dinner was great and the service was impeccable. The front desk staff was AMAZING. They helped us navigate to our excursions and even arranged a couple on our behalf when we didn't have luck with online or in-town tours.

Not a critique of the hotel, but it's a very long walk (with lots of stairs!) to the bus stops, keep that in mind when planning excursions. Guests do not get priority or discounts on the hotel beach club chairs.

Absolutely everything.

Before coming ask the hotel to tell you how it is best to come to their place. We went through long way with a lot of steps which was unnecessary. There are a perfect way to come from bus stop and port if you come with ferry. Don’t make our mistake😀

Had seen this Hotel on previous trips , always wanted to stay here , used to look a bit tired but absolutely immaculate and our room was lovely as was the balcony . stroll down some stairs to the beach and enjoyed the beach cafe and sun-beds which were discounted price.Easy and pleasant walk into Positano centre . Easy to get to the boats to take you elsewhere. breakfast was good and staff were really excellent friendly and so helpful , it felt like nothing was too much trouble especially reception. They also provide beach towels which was great.

Dinner menu was quite specialised we are vegetarians so not much choice .

The hotel gave us an early check in and upgraded room with balcony and full beach/seaview. The restaurant for dinner and at the beach club served excellent food and servers were all professional.

There is a serious security issue with trespassers having access to the roof of the hotel and thereby gaining access to the private balcony to our room - during the first night of our stay, at 3 in the morning we were woken up when someone jumped onto the roof, then onto our balcony and then fell off the balcony and through the roof covering the patio of the room below, leaving a blood trail and broken furniture. We heard rattling of our balcony doors. We are fortunate to have locked the balcony doors while sleeping or the intruder could have entered our room. We were told that hotel security also heard the loud noise but assumed it was someone moving around luggage. We also learned that this has happened before - trespassers jumping from the exterior stone stairs onto the roof.

We loved the location, the atmosphere, the impeccable cleanliness, the terrace in our room, the views and the super friendly staff! Veronica, Luigi, Enza and Mario all made us feel so welcome and we’re especially so kind to our son during our stay. Positano is a piece of perfection and this hotel makes it such a joy to explore. We can see ourselves coming back every year!

The only suggestion is to make the process for reserving the sun lounges on the beach clearer. It wasn’t clear that we needed to reserve them in advance or that hotel guests pay to reserve them. Other than that, it is a completely perfect place!

The location being right on Fornillo beach and not the main Positano beach so it is less crowded. The hotel had a beach club but they do charge for the use of sun-beds and towels which is standard practice in Italy but we were able to have lunch and drinks and spend the whole day by the beach so well worth it. The porter service was so helpful as the hotel is at the bottom of a lot (and I mean) a lot of stairs so we didn’t have to lug suitcases down to the hotel and back up upon checkout. The staff are great above and beyond, friendly and so welcoming. Our hotel room was newly renovated and we had a magnificent view of the beach from our balcony.

Whilst the location is right on the beach the flip side to this is that to get to the main Positano shops/restaurants it is a decent hike up stairs and there are a lot (i mean a lot) of them, so be prepared for that which when it’s hot and humid can be taxing. The room did not have a kettle or coffee machine.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We got one of the larger rooms with a balcony overlooking the beach and it was fantastic. The property itself is beautiful with gardens leading up to the restaurant. We ate at the restaurant twice and we loved all of our meals. The staff was very friendly and the beach was wonderful. You do have to pay for beach chairs but they have a bunch of attentive staff to bring food and drinks on the beach so it is well worth the price. This was our first time in Positano but it won't be our last and we will absolutely stay here again. I highly suggest bringing a good pair of water shoes though because the beach and ocean are rocky.

Everything was perfect for us

Beautiful hotel . Very helpful to send hotel porter to collect luggage from port. Rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful views of sea (can hear the ocean from your room). Lots of outside seating. Right on smaller quieter beach . Very quick walk to the town of positano . Luggage storage useful. Minimal stairs to the property.

Other bed in triple room not that comfortable. Breakfast could have more variety - every day same food . No alternative egg options , mushrooms , potatoes etc. beach club (pupetto ) is connected to hotel and yet you still have to pay to use chairs/umbrella (very slight discount given).

From the moment we arrived at this charming seaside hotel, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality that can only be attributed to its family-run essence. The staff greeted us with such friendliness and openness that we immediately felt at home. The hotel itself is a picturesque beauty, nestled right in front of the beach that offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The on-site restaurant is a delight. As hotel guests, we were treated to a discount, which made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. One of the most convenient services provided by the hotel was the luggage transport to the maritime port. This thoughtful touch significantly eased our arrival and departure, allowing us to navigate our travels without the usual hassle of carrying heavy bags. To our delight, we were accommodated in one of the newly renovated rooms. The freshness and modernity of the room added an extra layer of comfort to our stay, making it a truly restful haven. Overall, our satisfaction with the hotel was immense. Admittedly, the price for a night's stay was on the higher side, but considering the location in Positano and our last-minute booking, it was to be expected. The value we received in return for the price paid was unquestionable. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel for another stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and beautiful retreat by the sea. It's a place where the beauty of Positano is matched by the warmth of its people and the quality of service.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Firstly, the hotel requires a 15-minute walk to reach, which, despite being scenic along the sea, can become tiring after multiple trips. Additionally, we were unaware of the luggage transport service upon arrival, which made our initial trek with bags less than pleasant. Lastly, the cost for a one-night stay felt steep, although this is somewhat mitigated by the hotel's many positives.
