Rooms have a great view and the breakfast in your room is a nice touch

It’s important to know that to get to the property requires climbing up steep stairs for about 10 minutes. Just a warning for those who didn’t know.

The room was very clean and the staff bent over backwards to help us with the things we needed, especially Chiara and the woman who runs the place, whose name I can't remember. Breakfast on the balcony, greatest idea ever!! Our balcony was huge and we spent a lot of time on it. The room had a big cubby space for our empty luggage storage.

The steps were brutal, and this hotel is only halfway up to the top of the hill. I wasn't a fan of the green bed or the bedding, as I prefer crisp white sheets (it was a colorful comforter and a light beige sheet on top). The bathroom was small, as was the shower. I opted to put my makeup on using the table and chair on the balcony, perfect lighting and lots of space.

Wow, the view from our room and our little balcony was spectacular. Sitting out on the balcony enjoying our breakfast in the mornings was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a great location for easy drop off and pickup and close to everything we needed.

We loved everything but if I had to be picky and say something I would say that the room was a little small and crowded and the bed was a little harder that what we like, but otherwise it was very clean. The bathroom was also a little small and there wasn't a vanity where you could place your toiletries. Also the Hotel didn't offer an iron as they had a laundry service, but I didn't want to pay E30 to get something ironed.

Booked Palazzo Talamo last minute and was so pleasantly surprised with the water view room I received. The view is absolutely magical. The staff was attentive and helpful. I arrived right before the cut off for porter services. The owner of the hotel called them and scheduled my luggage to be picked up right when I got off of the ferry. Very pleased with my stay!

Great room with an amazing view of Positano in a good location with steps down to the beach around 5-10 min walk. Room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were very friendly & helpful they assisted us with booking a restaurant & arranging for our car to be collected from carpark. The breakfast served in the room is amazing and a great way to start the day enjoying the view on the balcony. I highly recommended staying here!

Nothing loved it all

This hotel has an excellent location, you literally walk out the door to restaurants and cute shops without being in the full hustle and bustle a few 100m down towards the marina. The view from the room is breathtaking and the bar is even better. The room was clean, and had everything you need, a little small but with the balcony it really opens it up. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast is delivered to your balcony, it was such a nice way to start the day. Note- if you stay here and want amazing food head up the hill away from town, the hotel recommended we did this and we had some of our favourite meals.

View from the balcony is a definite highlight, with breakfast served to the room at your requested time. We enjoyed this each morning and then also came back to watch the sunset each night on the balcony, which is a must! The room is spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff, particularly Chiara, were very nice and gave us some great local recommendations (walk up the hill from the property for dinner at Il Fornillo and Saraceno D’Oro!).

The range of breakfast options could have included more fruit and eggs.

Balcony view is exceptional, breakfast with that view is truly memorable. Location was excellent as well.

Breakfast couldve offered more. We paid €6 for an omelette on one day which was basically just egg rather than any fillings in the egg. Bed can be a little uncomfortable given that double bed is basically two single beds put together. Given how expensive Positano is, still a great value for money.

I love the view from the terrace. It had been newly renovated so the interior was gorgeous. The bedding was five star. The staff is wonderful!

The view was better up one floor and over to the right two more rooms. But it is still a good view. It was very noisy a couple of nights from people partying next door. We had our windows open because it had been freshly painted and my friend was sensitive to that smell.
