Rooms have a great view and the breakfast in your room is a nice touch

It’s important to know that to get to the property requires climbing up steep stairs for about 10 minutes. Just a warning for those who didn’t know.

Perfect view from the balcony-absolutely beautiful. Location is perfect, close to the best restaurants. Clean, nice rooms . The staff is exceptional - so kind and friendly, also very helpful with anything you need. Bring a loofah to Italy - no washcloths!!

No dislikes! It was great! I’d definitely stay here again. Advice for arrival- if you choose not to get a porter to take your luggage to the hotel, pull it up the hill on the street. Do not carry it up the 364 steps. There are only a few steps at the church if you use the street!

The room was very clean and the staff bent over backwards to help us with the things we needed, especially Chiara and the woman who runs the place, whose name I can't remember. Breakfast on the balcony, greatest idea ever!! Our balcony was huge and we spent a lot of time on it. The room had a big cubby space for our empty luggage storage.

The steps were brutal, and this hotel is only halfway up to the top of the hill. I wasn't a fan of the green bed or the bedding, as I prefer crisp white sheets (it was a colorful comforter and a light beige sheet on top). The bathroom was small, as was the shower. I opted to put my makeup on using the table and chair on the balcony, perfect lighting and lots of space.

Wow, the view from our room and our little balcony was spectacular. Sitting out on the balcony enjoying our breakfast in the mornings was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a great location for easy drop off and pickup and close to everything we needed.

We loved everything but if I had to be picky and say something I would say that the room was a little small and crowded and the bed was a little harder that what we like, but otherwise it was very clean. The bathroom was also a little small and there wasn't a vanity where you could place your toiletries. Also the Hotel didn't offer an iron as they had a laundry service, but I didn't want to pay E30 to get something ironed.

Booked Palazzo Talamo last minute and was so pleasantly surprised with the water view room I received. The view is absolutely magical. The staff was attentive and helpful. I arrived right before the cut off for porter services. The owner of the hotel called them and scheduled my luggage to be picked up right when I got off of the ferry. Very pleased with my stay!

The staff were all accommodating, friendly, attentive and super helpful with everything. Chiara was there when we checked in and was amazing throughout our stay! The location of the hotel was superb and the view from our balcony was breathtaking! They bring you a preordered breakfast every morning to enjoy while overlooking the ocean. We had a magnificent time!

Great room with an amazing view of Positano in a good location with steps down to the beach around 5-10 min walk. Room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were very friendly & helpful they assisted us with booking a restaurant & arranging for our car to be collected from carpark. The breakfast served in the room is amazing and a great way to start the day enjoying the view on the balcony. I highly recommended staying here!

This hotel has an excellent location, you literally walk out the door to restaurants and cute shops without being in the full hustle and bustle a few 100m down towards the marina. The view from the room is breathtaking and the bar is even better. The room was clean, and had everything you need, a little small but with the balcony it really opens it up. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast is delivered to your balcony, it was such a nice way to start the day. Note- if you stay here and want amazing food head up the hill away from town, the hotel recommended we did this and we had some of our favourite meals.

We stayed at Palazzo Talamo for part of our Amalfi coast trip. It was quite high up (so a lot of steps) but the view was amazing and it is close to the port. The woman at the desk was very helpful, and another man who delivered our breakfast/ helped with our suitcases was so nice. We were there during Ferragasto celebrations and he made sure that we felt so welcome throughout- thank you!
