Very helpful staff to assist with everything, nice little hotel, good breakfast and coffee with bonus canoli to go with it. We did manage to find parking on both days just next to the hotel, but sometimes it can be a struggle to find a spot, especially on a weekend, so you end up driving several circles around the hotel to find a free parking spot. Don't forget, many streets are one way, and very, very narrow. There is a lift to the first floor, so that's great, easy for the luggage.

At some particular hours, you feel as if there is a church bell in your room! It is SO loud ringing, and seems like never-ending! The fact is there is a church at just a few metres from the Hotel, almost facing the Hotel, and this room (yes, from the balcony you can see it and "feel" it, it is so close.) This church bell ringing you can hear every morning and every night, I think it stops at around 8 or 9pm. The hotel needs an update, has a 70s look, although clean. Bathroom can be better cleaned. It is not bad location, but from this hotel to get to the centre of town, it is all uphill through the cobblestoned streets.

A lovely location in Ragusa main town looking over the old town across the gorge. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeably helpful about places to go. Parking was free just outside. Buffet breakfast good and plentiful and overall very good value. Location was close to the cathedral and easy walk to some decent restaurants and to one exceptional one - Taberna Dei Cinque Sensi - probably the best we have eaten at. Easy walks from the hotel across the gorge to the old Town too.

Before we arrived at the hotel we got a message from Chiara offering help if we needed it. When we arrived she was a mine of information about the area we were in. She arranged shuttles between train and bus and organised for us to visit Punta Secca and Donnafugata Castle using local taxi family who were also reasonable and patient. If only all hotels were as helpful. Ragusa was quiet but we like it that way. The hotel is situated exactly between Ragusa Superiore and Ragusa Iblea.. perfect. Its a small hotel that offers a great personal experience.

All good no complaints

The hotel met my request for a ground floor room since I was traveling with a recently fractured bone in my foot. Parking was readily available on the street and we found a spot abound 50 yards from the hotel. Staff's recommendation for dinner was spectacular with outside dining looking over the city,

This critique has nothing to do with the hotel which was perfectly fine, But, be forewarned: Ragusa is a very hilly city and was a struggle for an elderly couple, one of whom had a foot fracture.

Friendly staff and excelent description of all the main sights in town. Location is in between the two parts of town, easy short walk to the cathedral with many great dining options and also near the stairs to Ibla. Very good and fresh breakfast

Parking can be difficult although there are many possible places around if one is full you might have to drive a big circle to park in another street. We parked at Via Carmine next to our room and there was still space, but it gets full in the evening.

Good location with an excellent view of Ragusa Ibla (depending on the room) and close to the town center. Nice breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice to order, and cannoli with ricotta cream. But best of all was the brilliant staff, especially Chiara who helped us manage our booking after an earlier incident affected our travel plans, and who gave us such wonderful recommendations on what to see, do and try in Ragusa and the surrounding region. Thank you so much to the entire team for the excellent hospitality, and hope to stay here again someday.

Chiara welcomed us so warmly that it just felt like home. Chiara is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable about sites and restaurant, and is most helpful. Her assistant during breakfast was also friendly and helpful with our requests. The room on the 2nd floor had a view of the old town and was a very nice size, as was the bathroom and the shower. The amenities were of good quality and attractive. Breakfast was very tasty with croissants that feel like fresh bread a bit, and cannoli that were filled with Ricotta cheese feeling on demand. Wow! On the street parking was easy and convenient. An elevator was very helpful. 10 min. Walk to town’s center - not to the old town.

2 churches next door rang their bells on a regular basis. But that stopped about 8 or 9pm.

Modern hotel in a quiet square providing a respite from the tourist hubbub of Ragusa Ibla yet a lovely walk to there. Ragusa Superiore a few blocks from the hotel you find a lovely square and great restaurants. Now to the 20/10 part of the review. Chiara and staff we amazing- from booking a hair appointment for my wife, dinner reservations and tirelessly searching for a transport option. Breakfast was superb including freshly made cannoli. Our junior suite was simply luxurious with amazing views of Ibla.

lovely hotel in a quiet location in Ragusa superiore. Not a lot of rooms, so it felt really personal. Fabrice on reception is excellent. Good English, I think he said his native language is French and he obviously speaks Italian. Our room had a lovely view out over Ragusa Ibla. No need to set an alarm clock, the church opposite played the most delightful peal of bells at 8am, wish I'd recorded it!

The shower had a leak through the bottom of the door, trivial really in the scheme of things.

We had a wonderful time! La Dimora Hotel is a beautiful place. The room was spacious, very tidy, and the panoramic view from the balcony of Ragusa Ibla was unforgettable. The staff is very friendly. Federico deserves special praise for his excellent recommendations and advice. I will be happy to come back again!
