Myself and my family - 14 in total, stayed in Grand Hotel Liberty in July and we could not recommend it enough! Stunning, clean hotel, gorgeous food, fantastic location and the staff were absolutely incredible - cannot compliment them enough they made the stay 5 stars! ❤️ My mother required mobility assistance, and the staff were so helpful, and helped to organise a mobility scooter for the duration of our stay. Thank you for making this holiday a wonderful memory for us all, we will be back again!

The price range for this hotel may be daunting to travellers, but the quality of location, food and comfort is worth every single penny.

Stayed for 6 nights with my parents and my daughter. We all really loved the Liberty and it’s friendly staff (Veronica, by the pool, especially friendly & helpful). The art nouveau rooms are well worth the extra cost due to their old world charm and spaciousness. I would also say that the pics on Booking.com do not really do it justice, it is much better in reality. We were very pleased.

Nothing worth of a mention.

Our room was beautiful and on the front of the hotel with a glorious view and balcony. The location is great and the parking is handy (although there are very few spaces so you have to be lucky).

The hotel and the room was very warm. We had two very sleepless nights as it was so warm. I was told by reception that they controlled the room temperatures and when I asked if we could have some cold air in our room, I was told no. Sadly that spoiled the stay for me. Breakfast was lacklustre and with very few staff the service was lacking. The restaurant was closed during our stay and the pool terrace was closed. A real shame as we thought it would be the highlight of our trip but sadly this wasn’t the case.

Breakfast was great. Pools were both a little small, but it was nice to have two. Great location, friendly staff. Riva del Garda is a magical place.

I got several mosquito bites when in the hotel lobby/bar, perhaps the hotel could do something about this? Perhaps spray something? Also we had supper at the hotel restaurant one night but it was pricey and not really that tasty. There are better restaurants in the town which are less expensive. The wines at the bar and the bar snacks were great however.

We booked a superior double room. Wonderful grand hotel, well situated. Loved the swimming pool and decor downstairs. Breakfast was excellent, and we had dinner one evening and it was the best meal I had in Italy in a week. We wish we had stayed longer than 3 nights, it wasn’t enough. Would definitely return.

Wifi not effective so ran mobile data. Would dress bedrooms more, ie rug and curtains. Good size rooms though.

loved the style of the hotel. location was perfect, just a short walk to the town and lake. great selection at breakfast. amazing food in the restaurant. staff were very friendly and welcoming. our room was lovely and we had a terrace with sun beds and bistro set which was really nice.

it would’ve been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. air con wasn’t working until mid June and we stayed beginning of June. it was quite warm a couple of days so would’ve been nice to use it.

The location is perfect, right on the edge of the old town, lots of amenities nearby. The pool and spa were perfect for relaxing, nice atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices including freshly prepared omelettes and crepes. We booked the nearby carpark through reception as the hotel was full, which was only a few minutes walk and nice because it was underground (and half the price).

The bed was a little hard for me

Prefect location just a few minutes away from heart of Riva's shops and restaurants, the cleanliness of the whole hotel with friendly staff that were really good with children. Plus the amazing indoor and out door pool and amazing food offered

Air conditioning restricted due to council between October to May and size of bathroom amenities.

Lovely hotel we had a suite very modern and everything was great including a fantastic spa bath everything controlled by touch pads from lights to shower to curtains. Breakfast was very good too. A lovely hotel also had a spa and wellness which we didn't use but looked lovely. We used the outdoor pool which was a lovely area. 5 min walk to centre. Underground parking area especially for bikes.

Nothing to dislike about the hotel The only thing I'd say is extra sun beds round the pool area are needed.

It is an old hotel. The main areas reflect the age but are well done. Our room was large. TV was pretty worthless, bath was nice. Beds were hard! Front desk help was ok to a bit surly at times. Spa was nice but hard to find help. Maybe understaffed for the winter. Parking was a juggling nightmare but we mostly got a spot at night. Did not get to try the restaurant as it closed at random times. Great price though. Good breakfast.

Hard beds, we could not figure out the dining hours on the restaurant. No one to help with luggage. Parking was a pain.
