We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The room was cozy and comfortable, providing us with a pleasant retreat after a day of exploring. The shared kitchen was convenient, and the breakfast served by the designated person was simple yet satisfying. However, it's important to note that the street noise was quite disruptive, making it difficult to sleep without earplugs. For this reason, we wouldn't recommend it for longer stays. Despite this drawback, the location of the Airbnb was fantastic, within walking distance from the Vatican, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but future guests should be aware of the noise issue.

the street noise was quite disruptive.

First of all the staff was amazing, very friendly and attentive. Susanna made us the check in and presented us with a map explaining all the must see spots, restaurants to eat beyond the traditional pizza and pasta, some not well knowed tradicional food for a first time Rome visiter. Roxanne would take care of our breakfast and she was the nicest, simply amazing! And also recommending great places and giving us some advice. Then there was the location, really near to the metro and bus and the Vatican, very easy to arrive and go. Even though we made mostly everything by walking. The city and the local felt very safe. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The only thing was the shower base that because of the doors it would leak for the outside bathroom floor. But nothing dramatic, just a little inconvenience.

Breakfast was really good, and no extra money needed. They would prepare it for you. Susanna was awesome and really helpful. The room was close to the Vatican and public transportation to visit downtown was easy to navigate. We had to leave very early on our last day so they allowed us to get anything we wanted for breakfast.

Walls were as thin as paper. We could hear our neighbors snorring. The room was rather small. The bathroom was not that soundproof either.

The truth is that I was very surprised, the lady received us very kindly, she gave us a map with indications so that we could travel in the most comfortable way, she wrote down traditional and not expensive tourist restaurants, she helped us to have beautiful days, the girl who prepared breakfast for us was very kind and had a beautiful energy, I recommend this place very much. Thanks for everything, we will be back.

The property is located a few minutes away from both the Vatican and the metro. Gated entrance with a cute courtyard as you walk to the door. Breakfast was quaint and delicious and the espresso was great to have made fresh by someone. Bed was super soft (almost a bit too soft) and the room was spacious and homey. Alessandro is a fabulous host and gave us recommendations (be sure to listen to him!) and was always reachable on WhatsApp. Loved having a private bathroom. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and hope we can if and when we return to Rome.

The shower could be a bit cleaner- the drain top/lid was detached and came off while showering and the water was slow to drain (even after we cleaned our hair out) and the shower head needed a good scrub as the water wasn’t able to come out fully due to hard water build up. But, the water pressure is amazing and the handheld shower and body shower worked great.

I appreciate the amount of support that I was provided by the staff. The very moment that I booked my room, I was contacted by Alessandro, who helped me book a transfer from Fiumicino Airport and who also did his best to answered several questions that I had about visiting the Vatican to attend the funeral of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. Throughout my stay, I was provided support by Alessandro via WhatsApp and I was also given excellent restaurant recommendations by Susanna, who even helped me dine at certain restaurants at a small discount, just because I was a guest staying at Allegra's House. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, the property was located within walking distance of St. Peter's Square, and I felt like I had VIP support from the property's staff the entire time. Thanks to the attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff, I was able to make the most of my brief time in Rome and I was able to successfully attend the papal funeral.

No complaints - I had a great time at this property and I enjoyed all the support I received. Maybe one small area for improvement would be to leave a small piece of paper with instructions on how to operate the coffee machine that is in the property's kitchen/common area? But I present this as a suggestion, not as a complaint. I could have looked this up online, and during check-in I was told how to operate the machine, but it would have been nice if instructions for how to use the machine were posted in the kitchen.

+++ Spacious room, great service and excellent location. Noise is to be expected. It's an apartment in downtown Rome and there's not much that can be done to avoid this. I've stayed in Rome before and Allegra's house was much more comfortable. The hosts were excellent and responded promptly to messages. Very accomodating +++

- Bed was too soft it made you sink. - The fridge in the room did not work (we used the one in the kitchen instead but in the summer this could be an issue). - Main door outside our door caught on the ground so caused unnecessary noise. - Shower did not drain properly.

The host, Alessandro was very kind. He waited us at the accomodation and permanently communicated with me at the previous day. The bed was very comfortable. The size of the room and the bathroom is OK. Thank you for the experience. The breakfast room was very close.

During the night, the neighbour made some noise, which was scary at the first time. The breakfast was not various, but it was not important for us. Cappucino, cookie, and cold breakfast were available, which is enough for us.

The area, the place and rooms were awesome. The breakfast was included and very good. The staff was so friendly and so were the tenants in the building and facility workers. It was a gated apartment and very close to the Vatican and wonderful restaurants.

The checking in process was a little difficult. We arrived early which was confirmed, but because we did not speak Italian the young worker was hard to converse with. She did however have a translation app. so this helped. Overall I would recommend and would go back again.

Alessandro was very welcoming and his colleague(s) were super helpful and friendly. The map he gave us was very useful. Next time if I will visit Rome again (maybe in spring or autumn so would not be too hot), I will consider the place again. My mom loves the plants around the apartment, very well kept ;)

I love the blue room, but I just wish the windows can be a little bit more noise-proof when it is closed so we can get better sleep during the night ;)
