My 40th birthday trip to Rome was absolutely exceptional, all thanks to the wonderful apartment we stayed in and the incredible host, Carola. From the moment we arrived, Carola made us feel like cherished guests in her home. The apartment was not only beautiful and comfortable but also filled with lovely touches that made my birthday celebration extra special. Carola surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco and a heartfelt happy birthday message for breakfast, which was a delightful and thoughtful gesture. What truly sets Carola apart is her genuine hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that nothing was ever a trouble. She provided valuable recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. The location of the apartment was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the enchanting streets of Rome and enjoy all the city has to offer.

I loved the fact that there was always someone at the front desk during the day. They are incredibly accommodating and went to a lot of trouble on our behalf, even making us dinner reservations, as well as extra lattes when we needed them!!

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal, placing us within easy reach of Rome’s most iconic sights, yet offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The service was nothing short of exceptional—every detail was thoughtfully attended to, making us feel truly welcomed. The staff was warm and accommodating, but the real gem of this place was the owner, Carola. Her kindness and hospitality made a lasting impression. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering invaluable recommendations and insider tips that allowed us to experience Rome like locals. My wife and I had an unforgettable time, filled with adventure, comfort, and warm hospitality. This hotel is an absolute gem, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Without a doubt, we are already looking forward to returning!

Loved the bed, it was so comfy! The staff were so wonderful and helpful. The room was spacious, and the balcony was a lovely bonus to sit out and have drinks on. There were little extras like homemade biscotti in our room and at reception. It was within close walking distance to attractions and dining venues or bars. Some complain about the small lift, but it is an old but well maintained building which IMO shouldn't be altered too much as to detract from its historical ambiance. even has a secured front in the evening which gives a element of safety. Just a perfect place to stay for a visit to Rome.

The daily breakfast, delivered to our room at our preferred time, was a fantastic touch. The place had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Ara di Marte Suites was the most amazing stay. The room and balcony were just top notch, large, the bed was so comfortable, the balcony and view were to die for, the in room sauna shower was beyond, but the absolute best part was Anita who not only works the front desk but does it all at Ara di Marte. She goes above and beyond and out of her way to help her guests. I left my bag in our cab from the airport upon arrival to Ara di Marte. Anita devoted herself to doing everything she could to help me resource how to retrieve, and I will never forget her kindness. The place is truly amazing, it's steps away from via del corso, the Spanish steps, the trevi fountain, you can't beat the location. Having to gotten to know Anita there made it all the more special. This is the most wonderful place to stay in the most wonderful city.

Great location! Very clean, quiet despite being close to everything. The smart phone, keyless entry was cool and the staff was VERY helpful and accommodating! Would definitely stay again. Can’t wait to go back.

Truly the only thing that may make it difficult for some is that there are 2 ways up (lots of stairs OR a very very tiny elevator). We took the stairs most of the time because the elevator was so tiny. Also, maybe adding a more visible sign down stairs stating the name and floor of the residence. When we first got there we were a little unclear as to where to go. But other than that it was AMAZING!

The location is perfect. Center to everything, all within walking distance. Very safe and quiet -including an elevator and stairs and gated entryway for property, building, and room. Our favorites were the personalized breakfast delivered to your room daily at your preferred time. It was perfect every morning. the steam shower in the room was large and toasty- just what is needed after a day of walking. The beds were extremely comfortable and I slept well every night. Ara di Marte caters to your needs and keeps in contact with any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend these suites for a relaxing stay.

Conveniently located near city center and how accommodating reception was. It rained the last couple of days and we were offered umbrellas to carry with us while we traveled

Although the place was secure, you needed WiFi or access to data in order to use the link provided to get into apartment door and your room. We didn’t notice any charging station(s) but that would have been useful especially after a long day of touring and having my phone close to low battery.
