This place is in a great spot for exploring Rome. It is clean, well-located and close to public transport. The Colosseum and the Basilica of San Giovanni are a few minutes' walk away, and you can get to Trastevere straight from the accommodation. There is even a supermarket nearby. The breakfasts were really varied and delicious. The check-in and check-out were easy. Valerie is the best host ever, she pay attention to what your guests are interested in and gave me perfect tips for the city. She is a great communicator, speaking English and French. Thank you so much, Valerie. I will be back soon!

I’ll start with the hostess, because people create the place. Valerie is an incredibly friendly and helpful person. We received all the information before our arrival, and during our stay, she shared tips with us. Afterward, she made sure to check if we got home safely. As for the apartment itself, the room is small but perfectly sufficient for two people. It was clean, with very comfortable beds and a private bathroom with a shower. The kitchen was well-equipped, and each room had dedicated breakfast items, coffee, tea, and a variety of other things for shared use. The apartment is perfectly located, an excellent base for sightseeing. It’s a 25-minute walk to the Colosseum, and you can also easily walk from Termini station. There’s a tram stop right next to the building, and the San Giovanni metro station is about 500 meters away. I highly recommend this place.

Booking I loved my stay at this bnb and would not hesitate to book again next time I’m in Rome! It was spotlessly clean, had every amenity needed (including a fabulous shared kitchen!) and was a warm and cosy place despite winter temperatures outside. The location was great with various transport options (metro, bus, train) a few steps away. The breakfast was filling and varied, with bread, ham, cheese, pastries, cereal, fruit, and various options for tea, coffee, etc. What really made this stay superb was the kind and lovely hospitality of the host, Valerie! She was always on hand to provide assistance and recommendations, and thoughtfully checked in on me which meant a lot as a solo traveller! She also kindly looked after my luggage after check out (however I believe this is dependent on her availability). Thank you so much Valerie for a smooth and enjoyable stay!

We loved staying here. Room and bathroom were clean. We got ingredients for breakfast prepared each day in the common kitchen. Location is great. It's about 30 min walk to Colloseum and just a few minutes away from metro and other public transport. Valerie was amazing host! She even sent us tips what to see in Rome and she was checking on us to make sure, that everything was fine during our stay. She even let us do earlier checkin and we could have left our luggaged at the appartment after checkout because our flight was in the night. We would definitely stay here again.

Really the best value for money. Valerie is simply amazing, and the place feels like home.

The room was a bit small, nowhere to put large luggage so I had to move some light furniture (chair etc.) around. The breakfast options are limited but it was enough for me. Considering that most other options within such a budget are hostels without breakfast, these kind of drawbacks should not be a problem. It is not a 4-5 star hotel after all.

I rarely leave reviews but felt that my stay at B&B La Finestra deserves one. On arrival, I was met by the owner Valerie who was warm and welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. The room itself was very comfortable and immaculately clean, and the high standard of cleanliness continued for the rest of my trip with the room being cleaned dailiy. It was well equipped with everything you may need. The included breakfast was perfect before long days of exploring, with a good selection. The location was good too. Within walking distance of colosseum and terminal station. It also had very good restaurants within a 5 minute walk Valerie was a great host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay, even messaging me to inform me of a metro and bus strike on a day I was planning to use it.

I have no negatives whatsoever. Valerie's hospitality and the property were great. If I am ever in the city again I will definitely stay again Thank you Valerie

The owner provided us with amazing breakfast. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had everything one needs. We had great view from the window. The owner is very polite, nice, shared with us a lot of useful information. We felt like visiting a relative :)

Above all, we loved the fact that it was a fantastic place to rest after a loooong day of walking around Rome! The bed was to die for, the room was spacious and the place was just extremely welcoming! Not to mention that our host, the lovely Valerie, was an absolute angel - she greeted us upon our arrival, introducing us to the life of Rome and telling us exactly what we had to see and how to get there, making everything infinitely easier. So, big thanks to her!

It was a bit surprising to see that we had to cook the breakfast eggs ourselves, but other than that we loved the food - the cookies were a great way to start the day!

Hello! You won't find a host here, you will find a friend, Valerie. Thank you so much this beautiful experience. Valerie's place is more than a B&B. It was like home to me. Beautiful, warm and cozy place, big room with nice comfy bed, good shower and a fully fitted kitchen. For breakfast you got all you need: eggs, ham, cheese, bread, cereals, yogurths, cookies, jam, butter, coffee, tea i can t even remember all. (as i said earlier, home not b&b). Located near the objectives, about 20 minutes by foot. You also got bus about 100m away but walking is better in Rome. You see much more by foot. Valerie, a beautiful soul in the heart of Rome. Very welcoming, kind, sweet and careful person. She helped us every day with tips ( least visited places in Rome, good food, local stores etc.) I strongly recommend this place, we will definitely return someday.
