Holiday Inn Rome - Eur Parco Dei Medici, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is located 20 minutes from the center, there is a tram station near the hotel. We had free transportation from the airport to the hotel. Breakfast is varied, dinner is served three times a day. My recommendation is to take half board. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms are decently decorated, but the soundproofing is poor. All conversations can be heard from the next room.

Breakfast included was excellent. Not many places around to eat, so recommend getting breakfast deal.

Some of the fitness equipment was not working, which made it very limited. Pool was being renovated, but they did offer a pool close by to use.

The hotel was typical for a Holiday Inn. Fee for parking. Clean rooms. Spacious bathroom Overall comfortable.

The Pool was under construction and we had to use another Hotel's pool facilities. It was a 5 min walk but none the less inconvenient. The staff gave us towels but when we retuned they took the towels and we were left wet going back to the elevators. Staff should have allowed us to take the towels back to our rooms. The hotel restaurant was quit pricey! My warm cappuccino was 4euros. I paid less for a better coffee next to Trevi fountain. Although the bathroom is spacious, it is very poorly lit. (Hard to put makeup on)

Easy link to Rome (when the trains are not on strike!). Staff at the front desk are really helpful with travel links etc.

The rooms were very spacious and convenient, the wifi was superb which is important if you travel for work. The kitchen was really good, both breakfast and the restaurant. The bar zone is lovely. The outside area/patio is perfect for having morning coffee. And the air conditioning is chef's kiss, especially in Rome in August. Didn't have a chance to visit the pool, but the fact it goes with the booking, is really cool.

The hotel is located in the business district which worked perfectly for me since it was a 5 minute walk to the office, but if you travel for leisure, you'll need to commute to the attractions of course.

Hotel is clean with good facilities. Airport shuttle service was fantastic. Staff is brilliant and very helpful. Responded quickly to my mesaages via here before we reached Rome. And absolutely amazing at the hotel too. Beds were super comfy. Room big. Only the cupboard was tiny for 4 people on a week's stay. Metro station is round the corner (closer than it appears on Google maps), train tickets can be bought from hotel reception. Train every half an hour which takes you into one of the bigger stations from where its easy to get further metro or buses. Plenty taxis available during the morning, waiting outside the hotel. Good bar and open till late. Room cleaned and refreshed daily. Beautiful outdoors though swimming pools were closed (we stayed in December) but can imagine how nice it would be during summers. Highly recommend for a stay especially with kids.

Breakfast has tonnes of options but hot mains were very limited. Hotel's food menu is really limited. We ate lunch and dinner on our arrival day but immediately decided not to have meals there. Chicken mains that I ordered was cold. Waitress quickly took it back in and brought a replacement but that though warm still tasted like frozen food.

Hotel staff was very friendly. We could get a free shuttle bus even though contacted the hotel later than required. We received an extra croissant for kids on the first day. We received free masks required for public transport (and it was not possible to buy them without taking the transport)

Cleaning came while we were having breakfast and didn’t suggest to come later, so we had to wait. Playground near the swimming pool was closed.

Good sized rooms, clean and spacious. Amazing breakfast something for everyone. Hot food not exactly hot but I feel it is the thing in Europe. This is a high volume hotel yet the restaurant staff replenished items on a regular basis. Staff were very friendly and accommodating in all areas especially the ladies on reception and the restaurant staff. Restaurant food was hit and miss some night good other nights only passable depending on what you ordered. Gym was well equipped. Hotel bar was lovely but very busy on the nights we were there. Can't wait to see the pool area when its finished it renovation but we got to use one near by. The airport shuttle was not available to pick us from the airport but we used it to got back to the airport great service and well worth the 10 euro per person. Kids eat free with an adult meal. We really enjoyed the complimentary water on our first night( would have loved if it was cold) and the tea/coffee facilities. We had no problems with checking in, in fact we were the only ones. We ordered room service on one of the night and it was very good.Overall a very enjoyable stay

No fridge in the room. Pool was being renovated but we got to use a near by one so no problem for us.

Had I known how good this hotel would be, I would’ve booked more than one night. My family and I liked the fact that there’s a pool and vending machines everywhere. After the pool was closed my family and I got some snacks and sat outside in courtyard near the pool which was nice. It’s very family friendly and the room we picked was big enough for 4 people. The staff members were friendly and helpful no matter the time.

The hotel is very far from city center and the taxi price to get us there was a total ripoff. What’s even worse is the “fixed” taxi price to the airport; although the hotel is like 10mins away from the hotel, the taxi drivers would charge you 31€ at least. That’s why I think it’s better to arrange the shuttle service instead, which the hotel provides.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable and shower water pressure great. Breakfast was great with nice selection including eggs and bacon as well as Nutella croissants! We ate dinner at the restaurant and food was good. The pool was under construction but we could use the pool at a nearby property which was nice. The location was far from the city but the Muratella train station was a 10 min walk and easy to take to central Rome. We took taxi back at it’s around 25-30 euros. There’s a shuttle to the airport for 10 euros per person.

The walls are thin and could hear the sounds from the rooms next door. Can also hear everything from the hallway.
