The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. The service and the amenities were excellent, especially for the price and location. Very comfortable, beautiful outlook, lovely location and very helpful staff.

Good old Italian style hotel room. Clean with all the necessary facilities for a short stay. Note: Spanga station on Metro A line is 50 from the hotel, but google and booking.com does not show it on the maps Bus route 100 stops in front of the Hotel.

Location for me was excellent. Room was clean, bed was good. Also extra pillow. No carpet on the floor which is excellent. Breakfast was good basic italian. Plus points for getting a phone charger to loan from reception, when my own got broken.

Cleaning staff was most of the mornings talking too loud on the corridor. But that seems to be the problem in pretty much every Roman hotel I've been.

The hotel is very close to the center of Rome. It was clean and cozy. The most I liked is friendliness and assistance of Luigi, the guy who works in reception. It was my first trip to Rome (Italy), but I didn’t find any difficulties as Luigi helped me with map and highlighted sightseeing to be visited step by step. If I come next time definitely I will stay at this hotel!

Everything was great!

I love this hotel and I almost always stay here when I am in Rome. The hotel is right next to the Villa Borghese Park, where you can have a lovely morning jog or a fine walk anytime of day, or visit the Galleria Borghese with it's exceptional collection of Renaissance and Baroque works. The Hotel Eliseo is a charming, historic, and elegant building; the rooms are large, with high ceilings, and have wonderful views of the park. And the prices are moderate -- even better than moderate, considering all that you get (including large and varied breakfast)! The staff are kind and welcoming and very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this hotel -- though I would rather keep the news to myself!

Nothing -- everything was perfect, as usual. I have been coming to the Hotel Eliseo for about 12 years now, and I am always happy with the place.

Great hotel, ideally situated between Piazza Spagna and Via Veneto. We had a room with a wonderful view over the Giardini Borghese. Our room was very clean, comfortable and a well equipped bathroom, with a good strong shower. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice, and cappuccino available too; I especially love the view over the city from the breakfast room. It’s my favourite hotel. We’ve stayed twice and have always been very comfortable and very happy. We will return again!

N/A Rooms could indeed be “upgraded a bit”, but for this price, it can stay as it is. It’s a bargain!

Breakfast was excellent and in a lovely room. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but clean and comfy. the location is good with a great variety of restaurants closeby. !0 min walk to the spanish steps. Good access to an electric circular bus just outside the hotel. Staff are very efficient and really helpful.

Nothing for the money it was excellent

Friendly, professional staff. Terrace restaurant for breakfast was lovely looking towards the misty hills.

Air con didn't work otherwise all was delightful.
