Located just 3 minutes away from Roma Termini, the hotel boasts an excellent location. The staff was very helpful; upon our arrival, they provided us with a comprehensive overview of the local tourist attractions along with a map and plenty of useful information. Adjacent to the hotel, Valentino restaurant offers delicious traditional Italian meals at reasonable prices. They also have a very delicious wine. Mr. Valentino, both the owner of the hotel and the restaurant, charmed us with his guitar performances every evening at the restaurant.

We booked a double superior room with the picture showing a big room with good space, but was given a slightly smaller one.

Great location. 2 minutes from train/bus station. Room was spacious, clean. Didn't book breakfast as plenty places to eat in and around.

Member of staff who we had not met was very rude on our return to the hotel on our last evening. (10pm) Gate was locked so we were unsure how to gain entry. Softy shouted to anyone who may have been at reception. Female appeared & said we were noisy! And continued to complain to us about her other guests sleeping. We had never been given a key for the outer gate, so how were we to know! However, the other members of staff were very helpful and polite.

The guy, Luca was very friendly and cheerful. He always has smile. Anyway, the location of the hotel is excellent. Only 5 mins walk to train, metro and bus station. Easy to get to and from airport. Walking distance to many attractions. It would be better if guests can control the AC or heat. There are no cups or coffee machine. Daily cleaning is good. I requested a quiet room so the room is quiet for me. Thanks.

The young lady was very rude. Kept questioned us why we didn’t report the water temperature issue on our first day but waited till the third day!! We just wanted to report the issue when we had time and couldn’t bear anymore as water was not hot enough for the first 2 nights. She kept challenging us why you didn’t report on the 1st day.

The location is excellent. Close to all public transport links. We arrived by train and left on the airport bus both less than 5 minute walk away. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. They gave us loads of useful information. We also ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was excellent and the two waiters were so cheerful and full of fun. One of them even played his guitar and sang us a few songs.

We had a small issue with our shower but as it was only 1 night we didn’t pursue it. I’m sure they would have solved the problem easily if we had asked.

The service was great upon check in and the person behind the desk made sure to give us a run down of all of the things around Rome that we could do during our stay, with many things being within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station and it is very easy to get from place to place from this location. Room was very clean and housekeeping came to the room each day for new towels. Great location, would definitely recommend it to others and would stay again.

Honestly, there was virtually nothing to dislike. It's a great hotel and is definitely on my list to use when I return to Rome in the future or when friends need recommendations.

Very clean, the rooms were tidied up every day and we were given new towels every day. Room was spacious. It’s walking distance to most of the attractions and if you don’t fancy walking the metro is just 2 minutes away. Staff were lovely and helpful!

I wouldn’t say this is the best area to stay in if you’re a woman, especially a solo traveler, it didn’t feel safe, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. We didn’t have heating in the room and we were told that it still wasn’t the season for it but it was very cold in the evenings. Eventually they turned it on but that was on our last night.

The hotel in general is pretty okay, and the location in my opinion is good. I read reviews about it being a dangerous part of Rome near Termini, but I didn't not feel unsafe, even at night. Check in was pretty smooth, altough I was surprised the city tax had to be paid by cash, luckily I had enough on hand. Air condition worked well, and the room was pretty much like in the pictures.

The hotel has obviously seen better days, but nothing too bad, at least in our room.

The hotel must have been renovated not long ago. Everything was new and in good order. The bed was exceptionally great with a good firm mattress and perfect pillows. The location was great, very close to Termini which made the train ride from the airport to the hotel a breeze.

The WiFi coverage was ok, not perfect, but ok. However, the actual Internet connection was horrible and most people would get a better connection directly on their phone.

Excellent breakfast served by Giovanni at Trattoria. Taste traditional Italian food and warm atmosphere, and if you're lucky, the owner will sing for you some Italian evergreens. Best position with connection to transport: metro, city buses, airport transfer and train. Very friendly staff, ready to meet your needs. We really enjoyed our stay at Valentino Palace and felt like home. Many thanks and looking forward to come back for more.

I loved staying here. Lucca who runs the hotel is amazing and so sweet. They give you a map and circle all of the main attractions and tell you how to get around. Its also just 2 blocks from the Termini Station. There is a cute restaurant right next door to the hotel Trattoria de Valentino owned by Hotel Valentino and the food is the best. I will definitely stay here again. I really enjoyed my stay there.

I dont have anything negative to say about the hotel.
