I start with the USP, the view of the Vittoriano. Simply wow! Breakfast on the terrace was unique, the selection great and the service staff very nice and helpful. The same goes for the reception, we even got a free upgrade as we had our (small) dog with us and the lady at reception said we would be happy to get a bigger room. The room was modern, clean and well furnished. A highlight of the room? The bed, a box spring bed with extra comfort. I would also like to emphasise the perfect location, within walking distance of most attractions. Thank you Otivm!

There is nothing that did not fit, simply recommendable.

Location Location Location - right next to the "wedding cake " - short walk to most of the sightseeing attraction. Breakfast is wonderful, huge choice and terrace views. You can hear the bustle of the city below you from the tranquil terrace. Staff in the breakfast team are amazing - thank you. There is a small supermarket on the corner near by to pick up drinks etc for the days excursions, try Antica Trattoria Angelo or Vinando restaurants for lunch or dinner just behind the hotel. The staff were very helpful and appreciated the assistance getting a Roma Taxi quickly each time we asked.

The little lift is noisy and seems to go up and down from very early am !

Upon arrival and after check in, Lucca offered us a coffee which was greatly appreciated as we had not had breakfast and an early start coming from the port of Civitavecchia. A wonderful Buffet Breakfast was prepared served on the roof top every morning by Georgio. A big choice of foods was on offer, personal requests were met, the coffee was great along with the amazing view over the roof tops of Rome. The Rooftop bar was also amazing, watching the sunset over the roof tops of Rome. The location was fantastic, easy walk to all the attractions. All the staff were very obliging and very helpful.

For our very first visit to Rome were greeted with warmth and caring. You can tell these hoteliers love what they do and the city of Rome. Clean, caring and a great rooftop bar! Our room had a great king size bed. The breakfast, currently on the roof, had great continental options and service. Everyone one was helpful and wanted us to have a great experience of Rome. The location is great! At the base of the Capitoline Museum you can walk to the Colosseum or to the Trevi Fountain. This is the best type of boutique hotel.

The property was an ideal location for exploring the city! We wanted to do all the tourist spots, but also try to find some quieter and more traditional places on an evening for our meals. We were able to do that easily using Otium as a base. The location was the main reason we picked it, but the reason we had such a wonderful stay was down to the excellent staff service, the wonderful roof top bar (for evening drinks AND breakfast) and the overall attention to customer experience the hotel gave us. we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone there for such a lovely time!

I can’t say there were any issues. We were here for 7 nights and the only potential point I can think of was that as our room was directly under the bar, we could hear a little bit of set up in the morning for breakfast from about half 6. However no disturbance from the evening bar service could be heard at night. Honestly it didn’t bother us at all.

Fantastic location! Walking distance from a lot of major attractions and despite being in the city center we did not have any issues with noise at night. The breakfast was also great, a lot of choices each morning and great quality cheeses and charcuterie. Also, that rooftop terrace was amazing! Great views during breakfast and lovely cocktails at night. We were very pleasantly surprised by how professional, friendly, helpful and informative all of the staff was. They immediately offered to give us tips and suggestions for restaurants and sights.

The cocktails were quite pricey on the rooftop terrace. No complaint about the quality - they were great. But we did not expect to see prices that were higher than at Manhattan, NY rooftop bars.

The location is excellent, walking distance to all the major sites. The staff is absolutely fabulous they did everything to make you feel good, so service minded and foreseeing from Giorgio and his colleagues in the breakfast room on the rooftop (also being a bar in the evenings when it didn't rain) to the excellent staff in the reception. They cleaning of the room was really good and an evening service preparing the room for the night was also provided (not even all 5-star hotels offer that nowadays)

Otivm Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Rome, within a 20-minute walk of all major tourist attractions, including the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the hip area of Trestavere across the Tiber. Our room was well-appointed, ckean and comfortable. The service staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The bar on the terrace is a nice touch, although the building is not high enough to give you a great view of the city. Breakfast is good, but nothing fancy. Overall, it is a great little boutique hotel and a decent value for the location.

One small complaint is the rather loud street noise. With oedestrians and cars constantly passing by. Bear this in mind if you get a first floor street side room like we did.

Location was superb - right in the heart of Rome and within walking distance of all important sights. Our room was fantastic as it was an 'internal suite' so was positioned at the rear of the hotel, looking out onto a very quiet Piazza. I think the front rooms may have been nosier. Breakfast was very good - alot of choice of cold food. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace which was great, although not sure how it would be in bad weather.

I didn't realise when booking, that there weren't any real public rooms downstairs. Although as it happened, this didn't matter as we were out of the hotel for most, if not all, of the day.
