Location was great. Trastevere has so many restaurants and bars nearby, perfect for a night out. It was also within walking distance of the Vatican. It has a large gate, separating the bustling neighborhood from the Palazzo suites. Very quiet and cozy once inside. We received our self check-in instructions with no issues. There is a gorgeous courtyard once you are past the gate. Very secure area. The facilities are a little dated, but it has many modern amenities and furnishings. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it had the essentials. The living room was quite big, and held a dining table, TV, couch and sofa bed. It also lead out into a small patio space with table and chairs. Bathroom had a full sized bathtub with shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. Bedroom had a wall to wall closet. Very clean and comfy bed.

We had to stagger our shower times so that we would both have hot water. The bathroom fixtures could use a bit of deep cleaning as well. The bedroom AC appliance was a bit older, so it took a little longer to cool down the bedroom. But the newer one in the living room worked perfectly. Not many toiletries given. There was wall-mounted shampoo and conditioner and some hand soap by the bathroom sink, but not much more. Plan accordingly. The WiFi was a bit spotty in the bedroom, especially with the door closed. We eventually found the router/modem in the kitchen and had the best WiFi signal while in the kitchen and living room.

You can’t beat this location for an authentic Roman experience in the bustling Trastevere area. And even though you’re in the thick of things with bars, restaurants and shops on your doorstep, the large gate to this property creates a quiet enclave to escape to. The accommodation is fairly simple yet did the job for our family of 4. The price is good value for money.

The set up of the lounge and TV is a little awkward when you just want to sit and relax but it’s no big deal.

Spacious split-level apartment in a historical old building in perfect location for those who love to explore the heart of Rome on foot. Very quite and relaxing apartment despite vibrant night life right outside with multiple cafes, restaurants and bars. We stayed in January during some cold days, but the apartments was very warm, and we really appreciated heated bathroom floor.

A well-lit mirror on the ground level would be a nice addition. Also some instructions on how to use the water-heater are required, because for us it was not clear how it operates.

Comfortable apartment fully equipped in the centre of Rome on Trastevere. The bed and sofa were comfortable, the sheets were clean, and there was no shortage of toiletries and hot water. Kettle, stove, tea, coffee, TV, internet connection. Close to Trastevere train station, 20 minutes on foot. Trasevere Train Station is a 20-minute train ride from Fiumicino Airport. And 15 to 20 minutes by bus to Roma Termini train station, just take the bus from the now closed tramp station in the opposite direction. 3 minutes from the B&B, there is a bus stop to the Vatican i for got numer. Attractions of Rome from Vatican to Closeum, Forum, Vatican Museum,Castel Sant'Angelo. There are several grocery supermarkets within 5 to 20 minutes of the B&B. While in Rome, it is worth buying tickets for several days 24h, 72h, 7days. This can be done at the Tabaccaio shop. This makes it easy to explore and get around this beautiful and historic city. It is a convenient way to travel by all means of public transport in Rome. From the subway to buses and city trams. It is worth remembering that if you want to visit all the tourist attractions and avoid long queues and long waiting times, it is worth getting up early in the morning and getting to the indicated place. Thank you to the owner of the apartment for the warm welcome in your apartment, providing us with all the information on how to get around Rome and information about interesting places to visit. This was long trip around Italy and we make it 11days from Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Venice and Rome agine.Thank you so much. Iwona & Adam.

The inner courtyard is a real oasis of peace in an otherwise very busy area. It should be noted that we were there right over Easter...very busy. However, there are armed guards right outside the main door..which makes you feel very protected:) The location is excellent for accessibility to everything. That, that I have written above will sound negative...but it,s just a case of being prepared. I would definitely stay here again...with a good pair of earplugs for whoever draws the short straw of sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area : )

The upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door. It would seem a good idea to add something simple to address this for when there are 3 groups of adults staying. If there are only 2 couples this is not such a question. But also the apartment is slightly quirky in it,s set up with doors...meaning that there is quite a lot of noise from the popular restaurant next door until midnight. However a good pair of earplugs solves this. If you are sensitive to this sort of thing then maybe this is not the holiday rental for you..but if not then it,s a GREAT place.

I had an amazing stay at this apartment in Rome! The best part was definitely the excellent location, which is within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions in the city. It made exploring Rome a breeze. The apartment itself is also fantastic. The inside yard is incredibly peaceful and provides a small paradise after a busy day in the city. The host was also incredibly helpful throughout my stay, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Rome. Thank you for everything!

location, location, location. In midst of Trastevere which is a vibrant hub of narrow cobbled lane ways littered with a multitude of restaurants and cafes, with a younger demographic. And it was surprisingly quiet after 11pm.

Can’t fault the property. It’s a refurbished apartment in a 15th Century villa. Comfortable bed downstairs. Sofa bed upstairs. Typically small kitchen but we expected that. Very secure. it’s real charm is that as soon as you exit you’re in the vibrant lane ways and squares.

A simple, clean apartman with split levels. The location is very convenient in the heart of the Trastevere quarter. The apartman had all the basic amenities. Shops, restaurants are very close.

The WIFI coverage in our apartman was rather poor. The streets nearby are noisy until 1-2AM - this is Italy. If you prefer a quiet place, take this into consideration.

Very good location, lots of places to eat both breakfast, lunch and dinner close up. Beautiful inner garden. Very safe as there are state guards 24/7 just outside the house door. We do recommend this place for a stay due to its excellent location and cosy old house.

There was a street restsurant outside our bedroom (number 2). It was nice to listen to live street music every evening through the bedroom window, but on the other hand the noise from people was loud every evening and did first stop after 1 in the night, friday evening first after 3 o'clock in the night. We would have liked to look at italian TV but we did not get any signal from the TV. Wifi did not function. Our own mobile data network was weak or with undulating signal, perhaps as the house have thick old walls (or perhaps the signal overall was bad in Rome).
