We enjoyed our stay very much. Gabriela provided exceptional service and the hotel staff assisted with luggage which we greatly appreciated. Before our cruise, we stayed five nights and enjoyed ourselves very much. After we returned from our cruise we again stayed another two nights, in a different room. Both rooms had good space and were very clean. We look forward to returning to Rome and will definitely consider staying at Relais Fontana Di Trevi when we return. Thank you Gabriela, and your colleagues, for making our stay very memorable.

The first room we stayed in had a shower that was elevated and was very slippery. You had to be very careful stepping in and out of the shower. The mattress was past its prime, but still satisfactory. The second room we stayed in did not have these issues. Both rooms were very clean and the staff did a superb job both stays. During our first stay, the shower and mattress situation did not detract from our wonderful stay, but they were things we noted about the room.

We selected this hotel for the location. We were travelling with our 4 teenage children and wanted them to be able to walk around the city freely. The breakfast on the terrace is just stunning , overlooking the Fontana Di Trevi. The staff at reception and in the breakfast room were wonderful - they even organised packed breakfasts for the kids on our departure day so they could take it on the train. The rooms are quite basic but you are paying for the location here !

The rooms located on the outside of the hotel are very noisy. Due to the location and the time of the year there are people on the streets until the early hours of the morning. The Terrace Bar is operated by a separate entity after breakfast and the prices they charge for drinks is exorbitant due to the Trevi Fountain view (we were also there in the peak of Summer). From memory a coke was 12 Euro ! We stayed at the hotel in the peak Summer season so if you are planning to taxi to the hotel, try to arrive & depart early morning or late evening to avoid the crush of the crowds. If you don't like being amongst the crowds then this is not the hotel for you.

This hotel is located a few steps away from the Fontana di Trevi. The view from the rooftop breakfast/bar area is beautiful. They had very good breakfast food options and the food was delicious. The room for 3 people was very big and comfortable. I loved the white decor throughout the room. It was great to have AC in the summer because it was very hot. The Barbarini train station is very close by and I loved the location of the hotel in proximity to all of the attractions.

In high peak season there are a lot of visitors to the area. The windows do a good job keeping the sound out but just be aware that if you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a quieter interior room. My window was facing the main street but we loved to watch the people go by.

This was our 4th visit to the hotel and we had an upgrade provided by the hotel. We looked over the Trevi Fountain and loved the crowds. It is so central and easy to sojourn from. The staff were wonderful. Local restaurants were well patronised and everyone (staff and customers) were very happy. No problem with the crowds or traffic because the pace of life was suitably relaxed. The rooftop bar has the best photo opportunity in Rome!

The hotel has no ground floor lift access, with 20 stairs up to 1sr floor reception and the interfloor lift. It would not be good for mobility-challenged patrons.

Perfect location in the heart of Rome. The rooms are large and bathrooms exceptional. You can walk to most sights and if not then you can take the metro or have a taxi at the door. The staff were all friendly and polite, they speak perfect English and are always available to assist. The breakfast is perfect and the service is also great. The views on the rooftop bar are immaculate.

Loved the location! Super central and happening and convenient for several iconic sites. Beautiful view of the fountain from the rooftop bar at breakfast. Breakfast was great, yummy selection of foods. Room was lovely and spacious and housekeeping everyday was great.

Something to keep in mind is there is quite a bit of noise from the street as there are cafes and shops below. Also unfortunately our bathroom had issues with the plumbing on the first night and had a smell for the reminder of the trip. They gave us 10% off our total bill for the troubles to compensate.

WOW! This hotel exceeded all expectations. I was a little nervous booking since i read some reviews about the noise level and size of rooms. Our room was perfect and so was bathroom!!! i would stay here 100x over again! Location doesn’t get better than this hotel- it’s on the main street where you can eat, drink and see the trevi in 5 steps! Do not hestitate to book. They were so helpful with luggage, Gave us a map and grabbed us a taxi super early to airport within a minute!!! Cannot wait to stay here again hopefully soon!!! Rooftop bar is a +++ best music and great vibes for a night cap before bed! i miss it already.

Location is 50m from the Trevi Fountain - superb and perfect to navigate back to after walks. It's in the centre of everywhere in old Rome. Our double bedroom room was big and functional. Nice shower, aircon, kettle, safe, etc. Luca and staff were excellent and helpful. This was our 4th visit to this hotel.

No lift from the entrance (just inter-floors), so it's not suited for the disabled or infirm who can't go up 20 steps to reception and a few more internally.

not sure how many words I can fit.. this beautiful boutique hotel has the most amazing staff, reception to breakfast staff to house keeping. all rounder the location was ideal, our room partly looked onto Di Trevi, it was the most amazing feeling waking up and going to bed seeing the Trevi and the tourists. amazing and abundant of cafe, restaurants and shops to rock all your boxes. i would stay here in a heartbeat and I would definitely recommend. also to note we arrived at 9:30am and god bless our room ready for our check in.. again THANK YOU . my stay with my sister and my cousin has been amazing and you have left beautiful memories in our hearts. breakfast was yumm and perfect. many any cafés around but just start with rooftop terrace breakfast overlooking Trevi

We were upgraded to a junior suite which was nice We walked to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps from here so if you like to walk skip the Metro and see the sights on foot. Breakfast with the room was €12:50 and it consisted of breads, croissants, cakes but also had a warm scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Also available was fruits yogurt’s cheeses and cold meats granola and small boxes of cereal. Coffee as usual was great. It has a bar overlooking the Trevi Fountain with drinks at silly prices so go for one drink take your photos and leave. Staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.

Soundproofing was good but the streets are still busy all the time and noisy depending on what is happening. Too busy an area for us but perfect if you are happy to be in the middle of the crowds
