Urszula was an amazing hostess. She was incredibly hospitable and made our stay memorable from a welcoming snack to a parting gift, even going the extra distance to find us a taxi upon our departure. The guest house was charming with its old elevator, and shuttered widows overlooking the piazza below. There was a variety of sweet and savory bites available for breakfast and in-between snacking. In the extreme heat of July this year, the room was always refreshingly cool to return to for our afternoon siesta. One note, it isn't far from a hospital so sirens at all hours were not uncommon, however, putting down the outside shutter helped baffle some of the sound and worked tremendously to keep the morning light out of the room on the mornings we didn't have to be up early. The location was fabulous with a 15-20 minute walk to many landmarks and the magnificent restaurants of Trastevere just outside the door. I highly recommend this guest house.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a traditional building in the Trastevere neighborhood next to the river. Just downstairs there is a tram and bus stop that leads to the city center. The room and bathroom are beautifully decorated and very clean. You could prepare breakfast yourself with first-class ingredients, there was unlimited coffee, fruit, cakes, biscuits, etc. We had a very pleasant stay in Rome, which is mainly due to the choice of accommodation.

Everything went well in this apartment except maybe you have to wait a bit for the hot water in the bathroom, but it's not a problem.

First and foremost the hosts (Ursula and her son Lorenzo) were so warm and accommodating. They even noted (based on passport information) that my husband had a birthday while we were staying and went out of their way to provide a special birthday cake that was waiting for us after a busy day of sightseeing. They took the time to relate to us on a personal level. Clearly this is not just a business but a passion. Location is ideally situated in Trastevere away from the heavily touristed areas. We walked everywhere - the Vatican, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Forum, and many museums. A taxi stand and bus stop is a stone's throw away as well. Trastevere is a hub of many charming restaurants also within easy walking distance. We always felt safe and secure. Our room was HUGE, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The room had fresh flowers in a vase and on checkin there was a small bottle of Prosecco on ice and tasty Italian treats. There was a kitchen for guests that was well stocked with breakfast items as well as snacks and treats and an "honor" bar for other beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Nothing!

A very nice location, located in the center of Rome, in Trastevere, close to the Belli station (from where there is access to taxis to the airport as well as buses to various places of interest in Rome). For those who have not visited Rome, we are talking about a distance of 3 minutes on foot to the restaurant area of Trastevere, 5 minutes to the Jewish quarter, 10-15 minutes to Campo dei Fiori/Piazza Navona also 10 to Altare della Patria . Regarding the location, I can say that it exceeded our expectations. Everything very clean, we were offered to change our bedding daily if wanted. We chose the standard room which is large enough + the bathroom equipped with everything necessary, and daily they brought us shampoo/gel/kit to wash our teeth. Regarding the breakfast, it was tasty, with possibilities to choose both salty and sweet options (pistachio croissants are great). Also good juices. Access to coffee was 24/7 not just during breakfast. Also for a fee at very low prices mini bar for all day (water, juice, champagne). Besides all these, our host, Mrs. Urszula, was great, a gentle, pleasant attitude, available to help us with everything we need. If every accommodation had a manager like her, I don't think there would be dissatisfied people anywhere.

I have seen some people's opinions related to the noise. This was the 5th trip to Rome for us and I can say that compared to other places it is not a very noisy area, restaurants and bars are 2 streets away. However, earplugs are provided.

The location was very good but until late at night there was a lot of noise from ambulances and police vehicles but it didn't matter in the day time. Also of course the church bells! The room was absolutely perfect as was the en suite bathroom. We slept very well in a very comfortable bed. Plenty of room for our clothes etc. Breakfast was also very good - everything we wanted. I must, however, mention our hostess Ursula. She is fabulous and we would return just to see her and her son.

Nothing because it was all very very good.

In all my travels, I've never had a more attentive host! There is no one more attentive than Ursula. From the moment we got there, we were treated like family. She was so kind, when she saw the size of my wifes bag, she gave us an upgrade to the king-size room!! So much was at our disposition. I could not fault her at all! From the warm hug to the exquisite breakfast. The area was a great place to stay as it felt safe and was so local to all the main attractions, as well as a great selection of restaurants. We will definitely be booking here again and recommend her to all of our friends and family.

There is nothing not to like. Loved everything.

Urszula was the kindest , most accommodating person who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort . Her son Lorenzo checked us in and he provided great information and was very friendly and kind. The room had everything we needed , there wasn’t a thing they didn’t provide . The location is perfect ,good restaurants and shopping .

Being in a busy neighbourhood, it was essential to have good earplugs as it was noisy at night . We brought good earplugs and they worked perfectly.

The manager, Ursula, is truly exceptional. She and her son go out of their way to make every guest feel welcome. This is the second time we have stayed in a guesthouse that she manages (Residenza Gens Julia was the other), and if we visit Rome again we will very likely stay at one of her guesthouses again. Breakfast is wonderful each and every day, and the location is perfect, right in the heart of Trastevere. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

I have stayed in Rome several times and Residenza Delle Arti is the best accommodations I have had so far. The location is excellent for walking all around the center of Rome and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfortable, clean and attractive. And the owner, Ursula, is fabulous. She makes every effort to assist her guests and make their stay a good experience. I give Residenza Delle Arti a 10 in every category and highly recommend it for those visiting Rome. I stayed for four nights and was with my wife and 18-year old granddaughter. Our large room fitted our needs perfectly. Daniel Bond (USA)

There was nothing to complain about! When the expresso maker started malfunctioning, Ursula replaced it with a new one immediately.

Ursula and her son David were very hospitable. Complimentary breakfast of fruits, cereal, pastries, charcuterie, coffee, tea was perfect. Welcome Prosecco was much appreciated. Walking distance to eateries and boutique stores. Easy to contact Ursula. Only 6 rooms for guests.

Some street noise filtered through. Property fronted busy main street. Smaller room but we stayed out most of the time sightseeing.
