Where to start? Michaela was extremely helpful on email prior to our stay. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed in by Elisa who gave us a long list of suggestions on places to eat and also gave us a map of Rome and circled some of the best places to visit. The room was absolutely immaculate, comfy bed, and really quiet, especially considering the noise of the road outside. You honestly couldn't hear a thing! Location wise, this place is perfect, it's got a taxi rank, bus stop and tram stop right near it but we didn't use public transport. We found it much more fun to walk and explore, there is just so much good stuff right on the door step. Although breakfast isn't included, they were brilliant and left us breakfast snacks (including a gluten free option for me!) Which actually kept us going through a 45 min walk to the vatican and a 3 hour walking tour! Everything was so easy and straightforward. Would absolutely go back tomorrow and recommend to everyone I know!

Having to go home

Everything about this guesthouse was fantastic. The host was delightful and very accommodating, she arranged for a private hire to come pick us up/drop us off at the airport and we were also able to check into our room early. The room itself exceeded my expectations. It was very spacious and beautiful, and everything was very clean and well kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable which was a blessing after walking for miles on end every day. There was not a breakfast included, but they do provide small biscotti-like biscuits and a K-cup for the mornings which was sufficient enough for us as we preferred to grab coffee and a pastry at a local cafe. The guesthouse was very easy to find, and I felt safe in the area. The location could not have been better. It was within walking distance to every big place we wanted to see (ranging from 20-45 min usually) and being right in Trastevere had the benefit of yummy food all around us. The host gave us a list of recommended restaurants and cafes, and we can confirm that Giselda's was fantastic! Also wanted to add that Dar Poeta was the best pizza I've ever had (not on the list, but for anyone wanting good pizza -- this is it!). The host kindly recommended we take a form of public transportation to the Vatican since the walk is quite lengthy, but for us it was actually not bad of a walk at all and ym husband and I rather enjoyed it. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the guesthouse and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Rome!

There is nothing that we didn't like!

Michaela is an absolute angel! We were greeted warmly and she showed us around and gave us a map and a “tour” around town from the office. She stayed in touch about anything we needed, helped us get a private transfer when there was a taxi strike to get us to the hotel. She then kindly kept us in the loop when there was an outage in the area on safety and what she did to keep the room cool and for us to have warm water when we got back from dinner. She truly did more than I could ever ask. There is a lift to get up to the 3rd floor where the hotel is.

Centrally located in the heart of Trastevere. If you want to explore that neighborhood, you must stay here. It's also an easy 15 minute walk to other key locations like the Pantheon, the Colosseum, etc. We walked to the Vatican and took us 20 minutes. It's also near a Conad, which is convenient. They have a cleaning service for the room every day while you are out where they refresh the snacks and coffee pods. Checking in was seamless and when we were checking out, they were kind enough to still let us keep a room until 12nn because our train was at 1pm. It's located right along the main Trastevere street, but the soundproofing is great.

The elevator is a bit spotty. It's the old kind that can really only fit 3 people at a time, or, if you have a lot of luggage, 1-2 people at the time. The gate has to be properly closed (I recommend to slam the metal gate closed!) for it to work, but the sensor is spotty. One time my sisters and I got stuck, fortunately I think the land lady or other residents were there to help.

Eliza ir Michaela met us very lovely, gave all information about city, about places, where to taste good food, and we try it 😉. Room was always clean, there was some snacks for breakfast, apartment has everything, that you need, for rest, when you come back from city. Location is great. Near the apartment are bars, river, shop and all visited places are close. And l really want to thank you for a little suprise girls, you are amazing 😘🥰. As l said, we truly come back 😊. Everything was perfect 🥰

Very nice and comfortable room, very clean, spacious and well heated. It was well suited for 2 adults and 1 child. The staff is very friendly and gives you a lot of good advice. Even though the building is located next to a crowded street, it is very quiet when the windows are closed. You can go to main objectives like by foot, about 20-30 minutes walk. In the area are a lot of good restaurants. So everything was very good for a city break in Rome, we enjoyed it very much.

Great location in Trastevere, perfect position . Walk out onto the street and into the fun of this suburb. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants, places to walk. About twenty minutes walk to the centre of town, but a lovely place to come back to each day. Lots to do around the area itsself as well. This was our second visit, we stayed at this apartment last year as well. A great place to stay.

All perfect....liked everything !!

The best location in a lovely old building! Very comfortable, spacious room and sooo clean! We were able to walk to all the main sights (including Vatican City, colosseum etc.) in 20-30 minutes. Trastevere is an amazing place to stay - unlimited food / drink options, buzzing all day and night. This property is next to a road but there is limited noise due to soundproofing - and over that road is absolutely everything you need on your doorstep! There is a little supermarket and atm right beside the property. The hosts of this property are very special - they went out of their way to help with airport transports and providing information about places to go.

absolutely nothing - it was perfect!

it's very well placed. Not far from the centre - if you like walking 15-20 minutes, but you also discover the city. Trastevere is very nice, with good restaurants, neighbourhood. Very clean, room cleaning was done every day. the room was big, we liked that.

it was cold in the room and the air condiitioning was not strong enough to make the room warmer. the bed's matress was not comfortable, we slept in waves, don't know how to explain it, but it was not comfortable.

We absolutely loved our first ever visit to Rome. Our host Michaela ensured our stay is like home from home. It was very clean and very comfortable. Air-conditioning was used every night as the recent heatwaves made it very sticky to sleep at night. The appartment is situated on the doorstep of local bars, restaurants, good connection to busses and trains. The area was buzzing in the evenings but rooms were very quiet. We will definitely return and would highly recommend a Trastevere da M.E. to anyone looking for a sense if adventure.
