The location was brilliant, the room large, bathroom very large, we were very impressed with our stay very friendly, everyone we talked to spoke English or had a very good understanding of it so made it much easier, breakfast was very good and staff there attentive and friendly, good options and very well presented. Would most definately pick this hotel again, really close to train and bus transport five minute walk max. Plenty of eateries around and a supermarket next door, tea and coffee facilities in room and beer water and soft drink available at bar inside hotel for cheap prices.

Couldn’t find any faults to be honest. Maybe breakfast could go longer so I could stay in bed longer ha ha it goes until ten which is more than reasonable but can’t think of anything to change really.

Great breakfast!! Lots of choices. Love the different flavored croissants, eggs, grilled veggies, coffee and juices.

The hotel is centrally located and this is the third time I have stayed there. The staff at the desk and in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay in this beautiful little hotel ! Our room was rather small but well designed and with all amenities for a nice stay and very warm and cosy , too! Very clean and the bathroom was really nice and comfortable. Nice stuff. ---Cute little balcony facing the beautiful street with nice furniture ---Tea-coffee making facilities ---Fridge-mini bar ---Location unbeatable, 100 m. from Piazza Taso, 100 m. from the train and bus station and a short walk from all points of interest. ---Big supermarket just beside the hotel.Everything needed is just around. ---Breakfast amazing, with variaty of food, we especially loved the different kinds of cakes, very tasty indeed ! ---Comfortable bed and pillows, great sleep !!!! ---The best value for money !!!! We can't think of a better choice for a short stay in Sorrento ! Strongly recommended !

Got the last room last minute. Staff was nice and held our luggage ahead of check-in. Room was clean, wifi had password. Breakfast had eggs, bacon and sandwich meat along with bread and pastry. Hotel had been renovated nicely but is small. Did have elevator. Price we paid was very good for location which was close to ferry, train and car rental.

Room was very small and balcony faced interior wall you could almost touch. Roof deck was a bar- you couldn't sit up there with your own beverages. Didn't have that great a view due to higher buildings around. Mattress was uncomfortable. We didn't spend much time in room so it worked out ok.

This hotel was FABULOUSO! We loved Sorrento and cut our time short in Positano to go back to Sorrento, but did not like our 1st hotel, so we decided to come here and it was the best decision!! If I could give it 10 stars* I would! First of all it is IMMACULATE, absolutely gorgeous, exquisite design, beautiful décor with a fantastic roof top bar! Great view of the city main street, yet our room was quiet. Upon arrival they have chilled lemon water and also made us a cappuccino! The breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff could not have been better! The owner and the young lady receptionist were exceptional, they helped us so much with directions and even made calls to help with our train travel. This is beyond 5* for the price, I will recommend this hotel to everyone wishing to visit Italy and this magnificent town with great people, shopping and restaurants!

The Hotel Sorrento City is really well positioned on a main road with easy access to the bus station. There is a really good supermarket next door and there are lots of shops a cafes on the street. Turn left coming out of the hotel and the road leads to a busy piazza. From the Piazza there are many roads that will lead you to shops, the coast and cafes. We had a twin room which was compact, clean had storage for clothes and comfortable beds. There was a lovely little balcony that overlooks the main Street where you can relax and watch the world go by. The bathroom was really clean and was a good size. The breakfast was good and varied to cater for all tastes. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and will stay there again if I am fortunate to go to Sorrento again.

There was nothing I disliked about this hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Sorrento City for six nights in May 2023. We had a lovely room, room 405. It was very clean, quiet and in a great location close to the centre of Sorrento. Breakfast was well stocked with plenty of choice. Staff were very nice and helpful. Cannot fault this hotel apart from entering the building late at night. When arriving back late the hotel is in darkness and locked up with no apparent way of getting in after 10:15. After being outside for five minutes my wife banged on the glass door and someone came and opened the door. This happened three nights running. Maybe management should look at improving on this, we have never been completely locked out of other hotels in this fashion. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others.
