We stayed at Il Roseto for four nights in September and couldn't fault a single thing. Maria was so welcoming and made our stay that extra bit better, the breakfast had a lovely selection of pastries, yoghurts, boiled eggs, bread and even cold meats and cheese plus coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The pool was always very clean and often quiet and Maria was also there on hand at the bar to make drinks when needed. The location is about 15 minutes from the main part of town however really close to some of the highly rated restaurants Sorrento has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Sorrento.

Secure parking was great and easily accessible. Smaller cars would be better but we had no issues in a mid size SUV. Room was very cosy with a comfy bed and a large shower. Very good WiFi coverage and a very straight forward check in and checkout process. Staff were very helpful and nice. The breakfast was great and a perfect mix of sweet and savoury. We were offered freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly sliced cheese and salami. Large selection of teas also.

Distance from the main part of Sorrento is a bit far however we already knew this and didn't mind as we prefer staying slightly away from the busy parts of town. This also helped with car access as further into town got a bit crazy with traffic during certain times.

To start with: we really enjoyed our start at Il Roseto! Our room was spacious, was clean, had a big bathroom and a silent functioning AC. Breakfast was nice: freshly pressed orange juice, excellent espresso and sweet sandwiches as well as plain sandwiches with cheese and meat. The pool at the premises is of nice temperature (the water) and there are enough sun beds. It's also possible to order food and drinks. It's easy to reach by car and you can park the car on the premises itself. Staff is bery friendly and always happy to help out!

It's a 15 min walk to the town center. We did not mind, but it is something to consider.

We had the sea view room which gave us a beautiful view of mount Vesuvius across the sea. Staff were lovely with any questions we had and there’s a lovely pool bar that was not expensive for those relaxing days by the pool. Location was perfect for us - 10 minutes from the supermarket and train station for day trips to Naples &Pompeii and 20 minutes to Sorrento with plenty of bars, restaurants and gelato shops on the way which didn’t make the walk feel long at all.

Nothing - was a wonderful stay for our trip.

Breakfast was excellent in this accommodation. It was served in the lemon orchard which gave it a really rustic appeal, plus the spread was the most varied I tried in any small accommodation. There was salami, cheese, hard boiled eggs, jellies, jams, butter, cereal, 5 kinds of yoghurt, all kinds of coffee preparation, milk, and probably 10 kinds of breads. The breakfast alone was worth the stay.

I like my bathroom to have modern fixtures. This hotel is not that, although the bathroom was clean and it had heated shower.

I just spent a week here with my daughter and we absolutely loved it ! Great , clean room and amazing location. It is just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento and is a little slice of heaven and peace . The pool was amazing and the breakfast and lunches by the pool we both really enjoyed . Tony and Maria and our lovely lady that cleaned our room are all so kind . Didn’t want to leave but I am already looking at dates to go back next year !

I loved the pool area and the intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Maria and Tony were great host and made you fell at home. There was great communication before and during my stay.

Not terrible but the property is on the main road. So the street can be busy with cars, scooters and Buses. The property is secured with a gate and was a family lemon orchard converted into an intimate charming property.

This place is an absolute gem. Family run and just great. The rooms are clean and tidy with plenty of wardrobe space. The bed was so comfortable. At the pool there were always sunbeds and a lovely snack bar. The hotel is on the main road but you would never know it at at the pool. The hotel is a short walk into Sorrento main town, with lovely shops,bars and restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend

The mosquitoes, you needs plenty of bug spray as they bite loads

Great location 10 minutes walk from nearest railway station and local bars and restaurants. 20 minute walk to centre and main railway station. Beautiful setting in lemon Grove. Clean and comfortable apartment. Lovely continental breakfast with freshly sqeezed orange juice and real Italian coffee made for each individual. Relaxing pool area with plenty of sunbeds.

Shame the bar wasn't open but not sure if this was down to low occupancy, early season or the weather.

- the business is run by the owners, so that shows in all interactions with them. you can always feel that they want to make sure that you are fine and enjoying your stay - everything went well even before arrival, when we asked for late checkin, since we were driving to Sorrento from Rome (we arrived at 2am) - we got a good rate, received an accordingly lower quality room from the available ones - but it was stiil a good price/quality ratio - breakfast was cold, but of good quality products; it was served in a tent in the garden (full of orange and lemon trees and gorgeous flowers) - this would've been a 10/10 experience in the warm season :) so definitely will have to come back to try that out in the early fall or spring - room was huge (duplex-like), clean (cleaned and arranged daily), with good facilities

- heating was only possible via the A/C, which is a pain in the cold season
