Room was very clean, spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the Sorrento hills. Staff are very friendly and helpful when we ask about how to get to Positano-Amalfi. Breakfast was amazing. Value for money.
Just the location. It’s about 3kms away from Sorrento proper, bus isnt really reliable so it’s a long walk. But still a peaceful area to stay.

Pleasant stay at a nice hotel, the rooms are a decent size though could be updated a little as quite old fashioned. Pool area was nice and pool is a good size. There are quite a few sunbeds and were usually accessible until the last couple days when a large group arrived and reserved the majority of the beds but left them and their towels were not moved. The pool has a very pleasant attendant called Frankie who is always very cheery and helpful. The pool could benefit from sun parasols. All the staff were very pleasant, Frankie at the pool, Antonella and another lovely woman with dark curly hair who's name unfortunately I did not get. Cotello and Lisa at night were also lovely as was the pizza man. By far the star of the show however was Antonio at the bar, I have never seen a better barman/mixologist. His drinks recommendations were superb, able to cater to your preferences and tastes and more than happy to make whatever was requested. He took extra care to remember names and greeted everyone pleasantly and more often than not by name. His drinks and conversation had us in the bar far more than we had ever planned to be, often stopping off for a drink or five on the way in from the town. If we were to return to Sorrento he alone would have us considering the hotel as somewhere to stay.
Plumbing was noisy though the shower. Bathroom was nice and modern with a good shower. We were on the 1st floor and there was a lot of noise from the ground floor/kitchen through the night into the morning so if you're a light sleeper might be worth asking for a higher floor room. Lovely view from the balcony over the gardens at the back. Breakfast wasn't not bad but not good enough to rush down for so we often skipped it. Rooftop bar is pleasant, seats are quite far away from each other and the drinks menu is very expensive (€15 for glass of wine and cocktails start from €16 - €22) but you pay for the view. The walk into the main town is 25/30 minutes and we heard taxis were €35 one way.

Majestic Palace is overall a lovely hotel for a short break. it’s ran well with mostly really good staff, the evening staff sometimes had a heightened sense of importance whilst serving quite expensive drinks. We stayed on the top floor in a rather lovely all white room. The bed was the most comfortable we had slept in all holiday, oddly when you stay in the hotels finest rooms the constant beat from the hotels bar above can be heard bar until midnight each night.
it’s location 20 minute walk from Sorrento, the walk is fine and pleasant too. The beds are really comfortable, breakfast is plenty full and the staff are incredibly attentive, any dirty dishes you may have on your table are instantly. The garden at the real is worth spending a little time in too. Hotel is clearly managed well and the reception staff always deal with any issues or problems.

Breakfasts were wonderful, set you up for the day. Helpful staff. The room was ok, beautiful view of the garden. Gardens were lovely to walk around and spend a quiet minute. The hotel was decorated to a high standard in the main areas. Large downstairs bar. Located a short walk away from bustops, and the local Railway station of S. Agnello.
Noise from the bar from the roof and we were on the first floor. Could hear room next door playing music, thin walls. Kitchen noises as they were right below us, meant we didnt have the balcony doors open around meal times. Too much disposable plastics including plastic cups that were wrapped individually in plastic. I would expect a hotel of this calibre to provide glassware and green initiatives. We couldn't adjust the aircon and it was on 24/7 on a cold setting. We heard from other guests that theirs didn't work, so probably luck of the draw.

Beautiful hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. Staff lovely. Roof bar excellent. Pool clean. Owner very nice and helpful.
Dissappointed that our friends room which we booked for them as a wedding gift was charged to them instead of ourselves despite speaking to reception staff twice and asking them not to do this. Food in Magnolia restaurant was awful , expensive , small portions.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Fantastic price and value for money. Perfectly clean, wonderful staff from check in at reception through to Frankie the lifeguard. We loved it so much that we extended our stay! Incredible views from both of our rooms at the front and back of the hotel. On our last night we had food and cocktails on the rooftop bar which was very classy and a fantastic way to end our holiday. Sorrento is a 15 minute walk away, but an easy one at that. Much preferred the area we stayed in as it was peaceful and still close to the sea (250m) with stunning views. Great hotel, particularly for couples. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so special.
Nothing!

the staff were absolutely wonderful, so kind and helpful and just went above and beyond with any needs or requirements we had. the lady behind reception, with short dark hair (didn’t get her name!) was so lovely and nothing was too much, she was always seen working tremendously hard and always seen to be trying to help guests with their needs the room and bathroom were equally huge & traditional Italian furniture was a really lovely authentic touch - the rooftop bar overlooks stunning sorrento views & the cocktails and food are incredible. if we were to return to sorrento, we would happily return to the majestic palace hotel & recommend to family and friends.

Hotel looked like someone's mansion. Great garden and nice view from the balcony. Comfy bed and good storage space. Good breakfast. Breakfast room was all in white and big, feeling like you are at someone's wedding. (not sure if it's good or strange.. ) ;) We liked it. Close to the main street where you can catch the busses.
Receptionists didn't have a clue where we could buy a bus ticket to Amalfi. It would be nice to have some knowledgeable receptionists who can support our trip in an abroad. There was a very unkind bar tender / waiter at the bar. He wasn't happy when we went down to get a hot water for tea.

We had a honeymoon sweet on the top floor with a private terrace that was huge with an incredible view of the town, sea and Mount Vesuvius!! The room was spacious and the bathroom updated. The hotel bar and sitting areas are beautiful. We had an unbelievable meal at the restaurant in the hotel! The town is a great spot to stay and be able to take day trips along the coast
Breakfast included had an ok selection and wasn’t the best food. The coffee was disgusting - came out of a machine and tasted like mud

Sant'Agnello is a quieter Sorrento, so definitelly recommend. Just 1 stop by train. The hotel is 7min from the train station. All very convenient, nice restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is refurbished, it is from the 60s and the mix of the new and vintage makes you feel well. Breakfasts were fine, a bit of everything from everything - eggs, ham, cheese, salami, fruit, vegetables, cakes, joghurt, cornflakes. Good for a 2 day stay.
The roof-top terrace is a magical place but the overpriced bar puts it down.
