Firstly what an fantastic location in Venice! Just 2 mins from Piazza San Marco.Our room was beautiful and ornately decorated and made you feel like you were stepping back into ventian time and culture. View from window was of the canal and it was lovely to look at the gondolas going by. All of the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We had our breakfast served in our room daily, by Raphael, and it had a great selection of options to choose from and was delicious. We would highly recommend a stay in this hotel if visiting Venice.

To be honest it is hard find anything to dislike.

Beautiful classic rooms. Very comfortable and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay especially the in-room breakfast arrangement (special thanks to Rafael).

Make sure to request a private water taxi from the station/airport to the hotel. The water taxi we grabbed from the station dropped us off at a dock located 10-minutes walk away from the hotel. Dragging six large bags through cobblestone streets was not fun :p unfortunately the hotel staff were not willing to / could not help us and we had to rely on the kindness of strangers to transport our bags through multiple bridges.

Liked the breakfast delivered to the room and especially with Rafael’s cheeriness. Liked the location near restaurants, shopping, canal and sites. The building is kept up very well and decorated in Venetian style which was beautiful. The staff was very responsive and prompt. The treatment was outstanding with the bottle of Champagne, robes, slippers and toiletries.

Not handicapped accessible even though marked as such. The bathroom was redone to be handicapped accessible but the support bar on the wall broke and the shower enclosure was not stable and leaks water on the floor. Had to keep towels on the tile floor all the time in the bathroom so to absorb the water and not slip.

The hotel was in an excellent location. In the centre of good restaurants, cafés, shops and the port. We loved Raffele, who delivered breakfast every morning to our room. He was such a kind, happy man, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He went the extra mile to make sure our stay was exceptional.We were there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and Raffele bought Prosecco to our room on the day, which was a lovely surprise. We will definitely visit again.

It would be really good if there was a shower room to use after you have checked out when you have a late flight.

Location is amazing. Only a couple minutes walk to Piazza San Marco and plenty of great restaurants around the hotel. Hotel has a dock so you can take a water taxi straight from the airport and get dropped off at the hotel, perfect for travelling with kids (or a pregnant wife like me!) as you don't need to take a public water bus and then walk with suitcases. Breakfast was great and served in the room. Hotel is small though so that is the only option.

The rooms are dated but we expected that. It is a classic Venice hotel not a new modern hotel. Air-conditioning was average but did work.

Me and my boyfriend came to this beautiful accommodation for our 1 year anniversary. We had the junior suite with the view of the bridge of sighs. It was absolutely stunning. We loved the massive chandelier, 4 poster bed and the view from the balcony overlooking thr canal and the bridge of sighs-definitely a memorable stay! We also had room service, which was Breakfast every morning served in our room, Rafael was absolutely amazing, so friendly and even got us an anniversary present on the Morning of our anniversary. Food and service was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel! Perfect for romance, location and beautiful views and room

I loved everything

Great place, nice and friendly personal, good breakfast which you get in the room. Wi–fi reliable. Everything is clean. If you are in the center of Venice you can come in at any moment without loosing time. It's very convenient. The room is beautiful and quiet.

The only thing that is absent is a hot water. You got coffee or tee for breakfast. Then you have coffee maker in the room. If you need tee or just hot water they can suggest you only a bar across the street.

The staff in the reception was super friendly . The room service appeared to be very convenient, and the options for the breakfast were more than enough. The gentleman who served the breakfast every morning was amazing, smiley, and very helpful. The amenities of the room were up to standards, and overall, the value for money is the definition for this hotel. Can't say enough for the location as it is one stone throw from S. Marco. We will definitely come back.

Charming room, ornate decor. Slightly run down flooring but that didn’t bother us, only adds to the charm. Breakfast was only served in room which was a nice luxury. We had a room overlooking the canal and the Bridge of Sighs, so it was really a nice way to start the day. Our breakfast staff, Rafaello was very accommodating and attentive to our requests, also gave us some recommendations for nice dinner locations to try. We took his advice and was suitably satisfied with the taste and value it the meal. Location of hotel is excellent, very near St Marco Square and hotel has a water taxi stop right at entrance and is within walking distance to sights and restaurants and shops
