Location was excellent...the hotel is very close to St.Marks cathedral and how many hotels can boast that their clients can wake up to the sounds of the bells ringing Also the hotel is within a 5 min walk to St.marco zechariah boat piers which allows you access to all boats in the grand canal as well as easy travelling to Murano,Burano and Torcello Staff are very friendly and helpful and helped us out when getting our luggage delivered from the airport

The breakfast is typically Italian (quite light) and while it's good quality, one should remember that it's not typical of the breakfasts in other countries in Europe

The location was very convenient, walking distance to a lot of main attractions and sites (including the ferry stop) which is the best pro about this stay I found. The room itself was quaint with lots of character, very Venetian, I loved it. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself but some VERY SMALL challenges come with bringing a large suitcase, namely stairs and some narrow walkways. In the photos of the room the shower had a door and cover, but the room I received had a curtain and shallow depression in the floor for the water. Again, not a big issue but also not one I expected to come across.

Quaint, charming hotel, with winding corridors to some - in our experience - nicely decorated rooms, just as seen in the photos. Perfect location just off St Mark's and attached to a restaurant which served us great dinners on two nights of our stay.

Some elements of management would have done Basil Fawlty proud - one room hadn't been prepared so one of our party was put in another building across the lane for the first night, and checking in was an experience - more staff in the hotel would have helped! But we were not paying a thousand pounds a night!

ANTICO PANADA IS LOCATED RIGHT NEXT TO THE ST. MARK SQUARE...JUST A BLOCK FROM THE CLOCK. WE GOT A DOUBLE ROOM...THAT IS TWO SMALL ROOMS UNITED BY 2 STEPS. BOTH HAD NICE AND QUIET WINDOWS. THE BATHROOM WAS IMPECCABLE AS WAS THE REST OF THE BUILDING AND AFTER LONG YEARS OF TRAVELING I KNOW WHERE TO LOOK FOR DIRTY CORNERS OR BEHIND TOILETS OR WINDOW SILLS, THIS PLACE IS SUPER CLEAN. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLLENT. YOU CAN WALK TO ALL THE FAMOUS PLACES AND TAKE ANY OF THE VAPORETOS STEPS AWAY TO THE TRAIN STATION OR TO VISIT MURANO O BURANO OR GO TO LIDO BEACH.

I WISH I COULD HAVE STAYED A COUPLE MORE DAYS. 4 DAYS IN VENICE SHOULD BE THE MINIMUM.

Location! Location! Location! I tend to be very particular when It comes to hotel stays. However, to my surprise...there was literally nothing to complain about in terms of the room, cleanliness etc. The hotel gave the feel that I was In Italy, from the décor to furniture( rustic and authentic....exactly what I was after). We were on the 3rd floor ( lift available) which was fine. The room was to our satisfaction...I would say though...ditch these red floral blankets. We enjoyed breakfast. Staff was nice. Overall VALUE FOR MONEY!

I'm all for keep with the authentic Italian charm, but you need to consider reupholstering some furniture. We decided to have dinner on site (despite the numerous options available outside). WORSE DECISION EVER! My husband had the salmon...very bland and watery! The shrimp cocktail...please dnt order! The mixed pork was not seasoned..and staff wasn't knowledgeable enough to know you can't cut pork with a table knife. I won't recommend dinner unless people are happy to waste €80 for rubbish.

Just a minute by foot from San Marco, and most of area are easy to reach either by foot or waterbus. The room was good, provide all the amenities except toothbrush and toothpaste. Also the housekeeping was quite late (like around 13h) so it was good to be in the room until late. I arrived around an hour early and early check-in without any fee was available.

No vegan or lactorse-free option for breakfast. Also even though I have never opened the windows but still there were a lot of mosquitoes. Also room was not super silent

I felt very safe in this location, check in really quick, room in a quiet location. Bed and pillows very comfortabl. , breakfast was very good, enough to set up your day., ideal location.

Rooms a bit outdated, could of been doing with tea/coffee facilities in the room. Bigger cups for coffee at breakfast. More space between the breakfast items, I was trying to get some cold meat and milk and was getting pushed by other people trying to get at the coffee machine.
