The location of this hotel is perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. And I was given an upgrade to a lovely room with a terrace and canal view! The cleaning was done daily to a perfect standard.

The bed was very hard and the Aircon in the bedroom made a lot of noise, so it was very lucky that I brought earplugs! The deco was a bit tatty, but I presume this was due to it being original. There was no kettle or cups to make tea or coffee in the room, which I would have liked. Very basic facilities but the cleanliness, character and location of the place made up for all this!

The staff were exeptional! Very helpful and kind. They were also fantastic with children, extremely patient! I was travelling alone with my two young daughters- our first trip alone after the death of my husband. I was very nervous about this trip but Mark and all the other wonderful staff at the front desk helped to make it truely magical, one we wont forget. The room was beautiful and clean and the shower was amazing! We booked a Gondola ride (its worth every cent) through the hotel as well as airport water taxi transfer and they helped me with my bags and the children. The location is brilliant, so close to all the land marks (even my smallie was able to walk with out too much moaning). There are great restaurants and icecream shop across the canal that get lovely sun in the afternoon.

Fabulous location, right next to the canal with a beautiful view from our room. Our room was spacious and clean, with a good shower and lovely hot water. The hotel staff arranged for a gondola to pick us up right outside the hotel door and there are lovely coffee shops and restaurants opposite. The bed was extremely comfortable and even though we were right by the canal, it wasn't too noisy and the shutters were great at keeping the light out. The hotel staff were amongst the most helpful I have ever encountered.

There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room but we were provided with a kettle when we asked. They also made us coffee and kindly brought it up to our room free of charge. There was only one English channel on the television which might be annoying to some but we spent such little time in the room and watching TV wasn't on our agenda. .

Large comfortable room, nicely decorated. Ideally located close to allowing main attractions, but by a very quiet back canal. Easy access from the San Zaccaria waterbus stop. Very pleasant staff who were very helpful. My second stay at the hotel and I would stay there again.

Problems with the room telephone not working when I couldn't work out how to open the gate out from the building I was staying in (separate from the main hotel)! Breakfast was a little pricey.

The property was in an excellent location, close to St Marks Square, on a small Canal. Staff were very helpful with organising boat for Venice Firework’s, gondola, water taxi. Staff also transferred our luggage & stored safely for us and allowed 1-hour extra at check out time. Excellent dining options very close. I would recommend Hotel Casa Nicolo Priuli. We were very satisfied with our stay in July 2023.

We were very happy, a little tired but still very authentic, exactly what we wanted to experience Venice.

In a historical palazzo, our room had a frescoed ceiling and antique furniture, charming if a bit out-dated. Beautiful bathroom and a patio overlooking a small canal. The staff were fabulous. Breakfast was provided in a little restaurant around the corner, and it was the best breakfast we've had in a month in Italy, served up by friendly staff giving excellent service. We'd stay here again.

The restaurants across the canal went quite late on the weekend, so it was a bit noisy, but that's Venice.

The hotel has a great location and a really polite and nice staff who tried their best to help guests. I lived in an economy room. It was really cosy and quiet. And I even have a nice view from my window! Breakfasts were simple but really good: they have the greatest quality of the products.

I hadn't things that I really didn't like during my stay. But I have 2 recommendations: 1) It would be great if you can put in the room kettles and some cups and spoons (and some coffee :-). 2) And it would be nice if you replace the lock in the doors. It is great that they are authentic, but it is so difficult to insert the key into the door the right way. I used ~5-10 attempts each time when I needed to unlock the door.

We had a serious problem during our stay (nothing to do with the hotel), and the management and staff went to great lengths to give us all the assistance they could and for which we were and remain extremely grateful.

The food is excellent though it has to be said that breakfast is rather expensive, We think all rooms should have tea and coffee making facilities even though these were rpovided on request.

Perfect location in Venice, worked as a great base for us on our sightseeing. Traditional Venetian rooms and we had a canal view which was a lovely surprise!! The bed was very comfy and there was a tv that we could log into Netflix on!

It didn’t bother us, but just to note that our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. Again, it wasn’t a problem for us but if it’s a problem for you maybe contact the property beforehand for a room on a lower level.

The location was amazing; beside a small canal. Across the canal were a number of lovely little bistros. The hotel wifi reached as far as the bistros :) It was within easy walking distance of so much of Venice. The staff provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The only downside was finding it :) Venice is very confusing and we needed to ask directions. There was a little courtyard right outside our room that we used as a sitting area as the room itself had only the bed, no chairs other than a desk chair. The breakfast bistro was in another building, but closer than most North American hotel dining rooms and was so quaint and the food delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

I can't think of a thing; it really was a lovely little gem. It was so quiet and comfortable.
