Couldn't have been more satisfied with this hotel. The staff were excellent and the service they provided was genuine, friendly and always helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and provided all the facilities in full working order as described. The location provides a perfect base from which to go and explore Venice. Breakfast selection was fresh each morning providing an adequate choice of all you would need, with the staff on hand to cook eggs / omelettes / crepes etc. Would certainly stay here again.

The whole experience from the hotel was amazing. We were part of a group of 4 couples visiting and on arrival we were welcomed by Vanessa who was so welcoming and a lovely smile and quickly sorted us all out. We were told that one of our rooms had been double booked so we were given an upgrade to a junior sweet instead! The room was phenomenal and huge. The hight of the ceiling was crazy. There was a king size bed, sofa, table and chairs, wardrobe with safe, coffee machine and kettle all in there and a large TV as well. We had a view of the canal as well. The bathroom had a bath with shower inside toilet, b-day and sink. There was an excellent selection of different foods for breakfast in the morning and you had till 11 am to eat which you won't get at other hotels. Above all, all members of staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best we have ever experienced abroad before! The manager should be really proud of the hotel and staff! Another good thing about the hotel is very central and close to everything! If we do return to Venice we will definitely be going back to this hotel

The only thing we didn't like was we couldn't stay longer!

The location was excellent, handy for many key locations while generally being quiet. The room was clean and lovely, very fitting for the location and building. The room had decent storage and there was space. The bathroom was modern and pleasant. The staff were amazing, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, especially the lovely woman at the bar and the front desk staff. The breakfast was pretty good. The space was very nice indeed. Highly recommend!

The kettle could have used a clean and refresh, but we didn’t mention it to staff as we weren’t using it except for a hot water bottle (for my back). The shower doors did not contain water very well, so had to mop up after showers.

Splendid decor and classic Venetian style courtyard, terrace (no canal view) and breakfast room was outstanding feature of palace reception room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, excellent service from the highly professional staff, every choice was catered for.

Shower cubicle doors don't seal so water will escape on to the tiled floor and very slippery. We had a ground floor room which showed signs of past water damage from flooding? The courtyard flooded quickly during a thunderstorm on our last night and water came into the building. Towels dammed the door threshold to prevent it from entering our room. With full moon and high tide we feared the worst and cleared the floor ready to evacuate. We were lucky to avoid drama . That's the way it is in Venice, be prepared. We paid a very low room rate so maybe got what we deserved?

The staff at the Hotel are amazing and it is just a gorgeous Hotel. We were offered a tour out to Murano upon arrival, and the breakfast, and the staff who serve it, are just superb. The location doesn't get much better either.

We booked last minute, and I believe the lowest room type in the Hotel, but the door walked right onto the bar area which wasn't ideal for noise or privacy. And for the level of this Hotel, I would hope that they could upgrade their hairdryers from the very old fashioned style that are attached to the wall. It had one speed and kept overheating in the less than 10mins I was using it!

The room is beyond luxurious! The bonus steam room is helpful when you are tired from walking all day. My whole family used the steam daily! Great private bedroom and a comfortable pull-out sofa bed in the living room for our son. The restaurant next door was DELICIOUS and recommended by the front desk staff. We stayed in a room separate from the main building and it gave the feeling of a private apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. The staff was generous with coffee pods. We appreciated the attention to detail and high-end bath products. Nice tea offering and the pod coffee was great!

We didn't like how firm the bed was. Hotels in Italy need to offer an optional foam pad since not everyone sleeps on their back. All the beds in Italy are too firm! The hotel should offer two pillows per guest in case you want to prop yourself up to read in bed. It would also be nice to have a little dish soap since the cleaning service only comes at the end and we drank and ate off the plates and tea cups.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We also loved the location of this hotel - close to main sites, but a short walk from the busy, more touristy streets. Great cappuccinos and cornettos at breakfast.

The room we were given was very small and didn’t look quite as grand as the listing photos (no high ceilings, beams, etc.) When we were packing, one of us had to sit on the bed while the other walked around to pack! That said, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had all the things we needed for a two night stay. The breakfast had options, but some of the hot food looked like it had been sitting there for many hours. Would recommend either sticking to the cold options or making the hot food within an hour or so of having it out. There were some dry looking lasagna and egg things that looked like they’d been made at least the night before.

A lovely Venetian Hotel just off a lovely square in Venice, we water taxi'd in to very close by, a fantastic experience! Of two couples travelling we got one upgrade to a slightly larger room, we used the bar which was also very nice, with lovely staff. The breakfast was a great addition (as sometimes I don't avail of breakfast) and again you can have the dish of the day; or if you ask an omelet or pancake! A lovely find and a lovely city...

Air conditioning was not being used, so it was ok as before the big summer heat ..and also no water given in the rooms. I queried this and was compensated for the one I used from the mini bar, I just think there should always be a water per person per night in any hotel ...

Beautiful position in a quiet corner. Only 5 minutes from nearest water bus station. No noise whatsoever. I had the junior suite with canal view. The room felt like a Palace to me. The bed was massive and extremely comfy. Bed fit for a king or queen. Beautiful opulent chandelier that I adored. A lovely breakfast room in the morning where you could have continental breakfast or there were two staff there who couldn't do enough for you. They cook you eggs etc if you wish. I loved my stay. The shower was phenomenal with a holdable shower head which is unusual in a hotel but I think is vital. You can switch it to overhead shower if you wish.

Nothing Some uht milk with the tea making facilities in the room would have been nice and also the option of decaffeinated tea bags.

From the first moment, you feel welcome by the friendly staff, in this charming hotel. Having a standard room, everything was excellent, from the silk and velvet fabrics on the walls and decoration, the Murano glass lamp on the ceiling, the Venetian mirror in the bathroom, the decoration in the bar and the breakfast salon, the friendly staff (special thanks to Nicole and Senedou), it felt like being in heaven and we certainly wish to return. The breakfast is spectacular! Thank you for a great stay!

That we had to leave. Venice is so beautiful and the hotel is so nice that 4 days are not enough.
