Perfect place for us. Just a little off the main tourist tracks, but good access to vaporetto and some of the lesser visited tourist sites. Neighborhood was great. Less than a minute away from a great tramezzini place and some of the best pastries we had in Italy. Good variety of breakfast items at Pensione that could be eaten outside on the patio. Charming building, with gardens, quiet rooms and wonderful staff.

We actually liked this aspect, but others might be disappointed. The canal alongside the property is not one of the main gondola routes. We would see a gondola every couple hours, but the main traffic were the water taxis and many boats carrying supplies of equipment. We found it fascinating to watch the traffic, but if you were expecting to sit and watch a stream of gondolas go by you would be disappointed.

Location near main attractions (Accademia, SM delle Salute, Peggy Guggenheim gallery) while still in quiet area away from crowds, near vaporetto/ferry stops, great buffet breakfast and attentive service from both the reception and restaurant teams. Clean and comfortable rooms, a lot of rooms including single ones with canal views.

Would have liked options for room service for dinner even with a very limited menu. After long days exploring and when the weather isn't great you don't always feel like going out and would like to enjoy the lovely atmosphere downstairs a bit more. Seats near the open fire area lovely but there are too few of them/a bit cramped.

Location was great because it was peaceful. It was away from the crowds but walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Including a trip to Lido beach to swim in the Adriatic for the first time which was absolutely wonderful! Room was beautiful authentically Italian just as we wanted. It feels like a home away from home. And we really valued being able to take a water taxi right to the front of the hotel from and back to the airport. We were helped to disembark and our luggage taken inside. All without hesitation. The staff couldn't do enough they were always friendly and helpful.

Nothing. All was amazing. We would stay again when in Venice. It was my third visit to Venice and the best over all experience I've had. Thank you

Beautiful location with a beautiful garden. Easy to reach if you use the Vaporetto otherwise also doable on foot, but you're in for a good walk. Stylish interiour and exteriour of the hotel. Very friendly staff and helpful to answer your questions. I only stayed for one night and didn't get to use all the facilities and services.

I only stayed for one night so I have only first impressions. To start out my Single Room which I booked, was very cramped in my opinion. I had flashbacks to some places I stayed in Tokyo city. Hardly place to move because there is no entrance gallery because the room's door directly opens into the room itself. If you have lots of baggage then my advice would be to book a larger room. Bathroom is quite cramped as well. For example the toilet roll was poking into my left leg, so I couldn't comfortably sit on the toilet.

The location is marvellous. Very near the Grand Canal but at sufficient distance to reduce the sound of early morning boat traffic. Great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Beautifully kept rooms and public areas. Buffet breakfast was comprehensive and well stocked. Charming staff.

The controls for heating / air-conditioning in the rooms seemed to have little effect. Being by water, there is some risk of mosquitoes - a ground floor room we had previously had insect screens on the windows, but the two rooms we had on higher floors did not.

The location is unmatched. It is close, but not too close, to two busy boat-stops (Accademia and Zattere) so you can get anywhere quite quickly. Yet since it is a 20 minute walk to Rialto or San Marco, it is in a quieter and more charming area. The building and gardens are lovely and kept in wonderful condition. Everything was totally clean. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Service was top-notch: there were always helpful people around and they were both kind and efficient. We had a room that was more spacious and with a view far exceeding our expectations. I don't think we'd consider staying anywhere else if we came back to Venice.

nothing, it is a delightful hotel

There are so many positive things to say about my stay here. The location could not have been better with easy access to two vaporetti stops and the Accademia bridge. The front desk staff was exceptional: they upgraded my room and connected me to the pharmacy to get Covid tested. They were all supportive and professional in every way. Breakfast was delicious, varied and plenty. The room was cozy, squeaky clean and comfortable. I would not think twice of staying at the Accademia again or recommending it to my friends.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

I have stayed here before a number of years ago and loved everything about it ! I'm pleased to report that nothing has changed and its still brilliant, the staff are so friendly and accommodating they couldn't do more to make your stay really lovely. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location such good value.

The only improvement could be to open the bar until later especially when it is pouring with rain and going out not as attractive. However they didnt bat an eyelid about us stocking up before they closed !!

Location is excellent with many bars and restaurants nearby. Close to Academia bridge and vaporetto stop. Easy to find. Lovely garden front and back. Water taxi available from the front garden. The hotel offers a free trip to Murano but you need to buy tickets there to get back or go on to Burano. You need cash to buy the tickets in Murano. You could buy a vaporetto pass for the day before you left the hotel in the morning. You don't save any money this way but it is lovely to go down the Grand Canal in your own taxi.

The room was a little bit small.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Venice life is a 17th-century palazzo (a hop skip and jump away from Gallerie dell'Accademia & two vaporetto stops - Accademia or Ca'Rezzonico), where all your emotional needs are met here. The staff are lovely with an air of genial surprise as if we'd wandered in by accident with wheely suitcases hoping for respite and a pillow to lay our heads on. There's a wee bar and soft furnishings to flop into by the fire after dinner in a local restaurant such as Osteria Enoteca Ai Artisti providing you like fresh raw shellfish, fresh tortellini, and the lightest and fluffiest tiramisu. The breakfast scene in the hotel is bathed in sleepy silence, pillow lines on the faces of guests still visible. A fresh croissant, a square or two of local cheese and jam, a bowl of cut up fruit. You know it well. Ask one of the friendly staff to make you coffee in the kitchen as best to avoid the coffee machine in the breakfast room as it's... well.... not very strong.
