Very clean, modern and a calming vibe about the hotel. Valet parking was great. Rooms were nice with very comfortable beds.

Breakfast was expensive. We didn't feel comfortable walking to the pier from the hotel in evening/night. Lots of homeless people around pier area. Would prefer to stay further north, away from pier.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hilton Santa Monica, and I would like to provide a review of my experience. While there were certain aspects of the hotel that I appreciated, there were also some areas that fell short of my expectations. Let's start with the positives. The location of the Hilton Santa Monica is undoubtedly its biggest asset. Situated just steps away from the beach and within walking distance of popular attractions like the Santa Monica Pier, the hotel offers convenience and easy access to the lively atmosphere of the area. The proximity to the ocean also provides beautiful views, especially from rooms facing the coastline.

Moving on to the rooms, I found them to be adequately comfortable, but they didn't quite meet the standard I expected from a Hilton establishment. The decor was dated and could benefit from a refresh, and the overall cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. Also the price per night was quite expensive maybe due to the location...

The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious.

Santa Monica has become very dirty and sadly has many homeless. Did not feel safe walking around. The accomodation is expensive despite the comfort ( on a small note the hotel inflated their price for A Starbucks coffee by almost 80%)

The design of the hotel is very nice. The rooms were beautiful, beds comfortable and location was very good. Staff was accommodating and they have a full service restaurant and bar which is nice. One of the only hotels I could find that had enough space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We stayed in a suite which had 2 queen beds and a separate living space with pull out sofa. It was perfect! Great location if you are ok to walk a short distance.

Our bathroom was not clean specifically the toilet! They have a poster in the lobby about cleanliness and covid precautions and state that a sticker would be applied to the door noting that the room was cleaned. There was none. When I called the front the desk to have the bathroom cleaned they quickly changed our room to the identical layout on a different floor. The staff was awesome. Location of hotel was easily walkable to shops and the wharf. It was a little bit noisy due to location of freeway. They only offer valet and no in and out privileges which was ok for us given our short stay but if we were to stay longer this would have been an issue.

Excellent location for visitors wishing to visit most of the tourist attractions offered in Los Angeles. As a tourist you need a vehicle to get around in L.A. This location allows easy access by car to see Hollywood, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Paramount Studios, The Getty Museum, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach and a host of other attractions as desired.

Rooms designed with shower, toilet and sink in the same space. Partial separation of these amenities would help parties of more than 2 people get ready quicker when going out.

This is a nice family hotel. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Ask for a higher floor for a sea view. Convenient location to walk to Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street.

We shared a king suite with our 16 year old son who slept on the sofa bed. He said that the mattress could have been better. The first room we were offered looked directly onto the pool and had no privacy, so we moved to a higher floor. There are a lot of homeless people around the hotel in the evenings and the hotel is on a busy main road.

The Pool and Gym (Well maintained, always lots of towels! and they let us use this prior to check in), comfortable rooms (Two Room Queen Suite with 2 Queen Beds was perfect for a family of four, with one additional large bed easily made from a good sofa bed in a separate room with door that could be closed off also) , easy 10 minute walk to pier and beach.

We requested a quiet room at the back of the building (away from traffic noise at the front) a whole year in advance, but this was not available when checking in. The traffic noise turned out to not be too bad at all. There are two ways in to the bathroom, however both have heavy sliding doors which were not lockable. Odd, as everything else about the room and building was very user friendly and functional. The valet parking was completely unneccessary for us as a family on holiday (maybe just not used to it as we are British!). Would have preferred if this was optional, as could just as easily have parked and got a lift up ourselves and accessed our car more often when needed for loading up beach items etc.

I like when you walked in the welcome, the service. Love the pool, love the situation of the hotel which was far enough from the pier and everything and close enough to everything.

The hotel doesn't provide transfers which was a real downer, the bell boys/concierge were really bad to try and get any kind of information from them was like pulling teeth out of a chicken, one example was trying to get directions I was basically told to go online that's where I could get the information. I know this is not the hotel's fault, but the public transport is crap and no one in the hotel knows how it works. I don't understand how the hotel would not have a directory of things to do around Santa Monica and LA. The staff at the front desk were fantastic and seemed to know more than the bell boys/concierge.

As soon as we checked in the gentleman at the counter was very pleasant and courteous. He got us a room facing the city and ocean. I also liked the little food concession stand when you first walk in. very convenient to grab a quick snack or beverage. Housekeeping was very polite and thorough. The valet men were very attentive and kind as well. The inside of the building was very aesthetically designed and clean. Also, the room felt like first class. Would definitely love to return again soon.

ajay jadhav on reception was very friendly & welcoming, picking up a starbucks in the foyer bar area was so convenient, our double room was spacious for a family including 3 teens & the location perfect for train access to crypto stadium to watch a lakers game, the pier and uber entry straight on/off the freeway to get to studios and hollywood. would definitely stay again.
